It's difficult to be able to do that especially with the volatility of bitcoin as many people have already mentioned, the only way that this can be done is through payment processors like BitPay where your bitcoin is converted into fiat when it's sent to the university so technically they're not getting paid in bitcoin for their tuition, there's probably a list there of universities that accept bitcoin as the tuition with no need for payment processors just like what Charle-Tim listed. Your question is actually a pretty good idea that a company can create a system for universities so they can accept bitcoin as bitcoin and not as a fiat or maybe even a thesis project for IT students.

But the main question here is, are you willing to pay it in Bitcoin or not? It depends on you. If you bought BTC at a higher price and now the price is low compared to the initial buying price, you may think that you will make a loss if you pay in BTC now. But the opposite happens when you buy at a low and now you are in a profit. So adaptability to the situation is the main issue here. Bitcoin still holds the crown for being decentralized and the best P2P transaction method. But we are the one who decides whether we should use it or not.

Yes, I think the key problem is with us, not with universities or organizations. Most people only see bitcoin as an asset, an investment, is anyone generous enough to buy bitcoin for $60k and be willing to use it for payment when it costs $30k? I bet no one would be stupid enough to do that. So the problem is us, not anyone else, because for businesses, accepting bitcoin is no different from other payment methods. They will always use the BTC/USD rate at the time of our payment, they will not incur any losses.

Is it possible in future students to pay tuition with cryptocurrency like btc or another. As we all know that only stable money can run a country, moreover btc price is unstable so you can't do that even if you want to.

Sure why not? Also who's to say people aren't already using bitcoin to pay for college or school tuition? I know you mean directly, of course.  Bitcoin doesn't necessarily have to replace fiat money/currency to become currency itself.  Despite it not being stable, I dont think that necessarily takes out the possibility of it one day being accepted as currency for tuition/room and board expenses etc.  We have some ways to go though, in my opinion.
Paying tuitions fees using bitcoin is a valid payment option but not all univesities and colleges are accepting this kind of payment method because it depends to the higher management/ Board of directors if they will accepting this, since we all know that bitcoin is volatile, there's a lot of things needs to consider and evaluate before they approve. Maybe in the future, this will be a norm in our society as people nowadays are interested and gained an idea about bitcoin.

It depends on whether Bitcoin will be able to overcome all these obstacles and become the world currency one day. As many have already mentioned there are many institutions that are accepting Bitcoin as a payment method. It is possible for Bitcoin to get accepted as a payment method, however, in order for it to be accepted worldwide, it's gonna take time. The volatile nature of Bitcoin is not the main issue here because we are still using it today as a payment method in many countries or services online. They have come up with a converter that tells you how much you need to pay in BTC. Or you can convert it yourself and confirm it on your own and then make the payment.

But the main question here is, are you willing to pay it in Bitcoin or not? It depends on you. I think that would only complicate the system, I have read here in the forum that even Tesla used Bitcoin as they mode of payment but later on they lost huge amounts of money as we know Bitcoin's volatility, it's true that Bitocin could be beneficial for a long-term but when it comes to business or any establishment, you would really need the money as soon as possible without holding for you to use those funds either for buying resources or innovation. There might be existing universities that are really open to cryptocurrency but I think they wouldn't still use Bitcoin as a mode of payment when you can convert it to fiat to lessen the hassle. Still, it depends on the schools if they would like to accept Bitcoin cause they would be the one who's gonna handle it, but only for the private one, cause public schools are handled by the government as the student's tuition are paid in tax so they wouldn't like to mess with that.

I’m not sure how well this will work because Bitcoin is volatile even if it’s not as volatile as many of these Altcoins, and the volatility will be noticeable when you have a bigger amount. So if someone wants to pay school fees which is definitely a lot of money, how will the school manage the volatility? I think USDT, USDC, and the other USD pegged coins can be a better option. But if the school totally understands and knows how to manage Bitcoin’s volatility, it’s a good thing to Bitcoin that it’s getting more adoption.

It can be possible but it depends on the country's rules because if someone pay you a tuition fee in the form of bitcoin but your government does not allow this then you will not be able to take bitcoin as a payment. Also payment in the form of bitcoin will be only accepted if that time the value remains same useful as it is today. It will takes time because bitcoin and other altcoins are not yet legalized all over the world. Some country accept bitcoin because they have realized its use cases while many still don't want to accept it.

Yes, it is possible for any industry to accept BTC as payment method and yes, bitcoin price is volatile.
We already have a country using BTC as a payment method and so it's not necessary for BTC price to be stable to be utilized as a payment method.

OP, if an institution decides to accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment I think is personal and also a welcome development, besides with the little knowledge I have gotten so far, I don't think this is new, you said Bitcoin is an unstable currency, this is true but you should also know that Bitcoin as an unstable currency does not make it stagnant, the price moves up and down, just imagine if some college have taken this decision earlier, they would have been on the profit side by now if this process is been initiated by some institutions some parents who are Bitcoin-friendly will not want to pass through bank stress but rather, they will settle for this payment pattern.

This process is already ongoing mate. I mean those students are taking this facilities to pay their University fees as well as their others goods payment with bitcoin but yeah, only happening in those countries which are already legalized Bitcoin for their people. But if any county doesn't recognize bitcoin, then the transaction would be considered as illegal and  cause for punishment if get caught. Although government can't stop people who want to using bitcoin. But you mentioned bitcoin is unstable, that's true. There is also process to convert it immediately and nowadays i notice, cryptocurrency usdt is available for transaction due to make everything more easier
The owner of the school or university could decide on their own if they will accept a crypto currency payment, even if the government doesn't allow it, as long as the university or school is private. But the thing is, it is not applicable to public schools that are handled by the government. Cryptocurrency as a payment is still too dangerous and has a lot of things to consider before adopting and accepting it for transactions, especially for big transactions such as tuition. But it would be great if it were adopted; it could only mean that our industry and economy are taking a bigger step in terms of currency. It may be too far, but we can still see it happening, not just in tuition fees. Cryptocurrency payments can be implemented and applied to many transactions, such as daily lives or banking, which would be great.

Most of the country are using the fiat currency as a mode of payment and if possible your country supported the use of the cryptocurrency possible that the other establishment will support this too, but if not expect that they will question you about the bitcoin as payment, if you use the earning from bitcoin or other crypto and convert into fiat currency still possible even though they didn't know what bitcoin is as long as they use the fiat currency for the payment.
The difference between accepting as a business and accepting as a nation is huge. I mean I could have a college and accept crypto payments if I want to, as the owner of the college I could accept any mode of payment that is legal, and crypto payments are not illegal, which means that I could do it.

But, when a nation starts to accept it, that becomes a bit of a different situation because it means we are going to end up getting a lot different results and it is not going to be that easy. I personally prefer to have it differently done, I would instead get fiat from people and then use that to buy crypto, that would mean every single payment is actually a crypto payment to me, but of course I would understand this way too.

I don't know for sure, but after doing a quick search on search engines, I found this:
Code:
https://www.missioncriticalmagazine.com/articles/94801-these-45-universities-accept-cryptocurrency-for-tuition
https://www.banklesstimes.com/cryptocurrency/resources/which-universities-accept-cryptocurrency/
https://topschoolsabroad.com/2022/06/21/list-universities-allow-pay-tuition-fees-bitcoin/
I don't know whether the university still allows payment of tuition fees using crypto or back to using fiat.
You can search for a list of schools that accept crypto payments.
There may be more lists of schools that you can get your hands on.

So far, there is no schools or universities that accepts Bitcoin payment and this can only be possible through payment solution different payment companies, for example PayPal and others, but still I have my doubt about Bitcoin as a means of payment because it's the only project running on the blockchain that's true decentralized, I believe that the government still won't like how they are not in total control of the digital currency, this is the only reason why Bitcoin is still lacking behind, it's because the rulers are running a centralized world where everything must be controllable by them.

Actually, many people still hope bitcoin will become a payment method or currency, however, I absolutely do not believe that to materialize in reality. Decentralization, a barrier to Bitcoin becoming a currency, No government will like a decentralized currency they can't control. Despite this fact, there are still many individuals who stubbornly refuse to accept this reality. It is undeniable that some businesses have accepted bitcoin as a payment method, but that does not mean that over time all governments will accept bitcoin as a common form of payment.

Yes it is possible if the country educational system or Sector accept bitcoin to be used. Accepting bitcoin will even help them to accumulate more in their institutions. And the school management should provide the different methods of payment of school fees so that the students will select the method they likes. They should approved the fiat and bitcoin. It is better they use only bitcoin to avoid confusion. The instability of bitcoin is not a problem for accepting bitcoin, it for their benefits. If they can hodle it for some years then they can use to do some good projects.

Universities can agree to receive payments in Bitcoin on their boards of directors. If the state sees no inconvenience in this case, universities can implement it. In order to do this, the Bitcoin part must be included in the items specified in the financial statements of the university. In other words, if they take this decision from the board of directors, they should add this article to their bylaws. The university that fulfills all these requirements can accept payments in Bitcoin.

Using Bitcoin payments at universities might be a smart move. Young people can be drawn in this direction. At the same time, it can be a good situation to use all payment systems, since universities aim to train students in all conditions of today.

It's really possible for Bitcoin to be used as payment for tuition. We are aiming that Bitcoin will be used as payment in any establishments in the world legally. And if that would happen, surely paying tuition with Bitcoin is acceptable. Since Bitcoin is volatile unlike fiat, it will be difficult for now to school to accept this but we can still make lower the volatility of Bitcoin if the marketcap will be doubled and with the current price. Time will come that all the good things we hope with Bitcoin will happen. We just have to be positive.
In most cases, this will worry the parents and not the students, because not all students can pay for their own education.

And you need to take into account that it will not always be convenient to pay in bitcoin, let's say, as it is now in the bear market, then I will choose to pay with fiat, because I am sure that my bitcoins will be able to bring me good profit in the bull market, which I expect in the near future. In a bull market, I will gladly pay for everything I can with bitcoin, for me this is an important point that I will take into account when paying.
