BTC-E, you do understand you are a business, because you are breaking just about every tenant pertaining to PR and damage control.
Making this post in the first place, why? Did you not realize the implications of making a post like this on a public forum where a large portion of your exchange users read/post? It boggles my mind how anybody with even the slightest amount of business sense would even begin to think this was a good idea.
Now your damage control is just as bad as the decision to post in the first place. Threatening to ban people in your chat that bring the subject up or to mention that you might close the chat completely, there is no better way to attract attention and in fact make the situation worse. Remember it was your poor decision making that caused the situation in the first place, and as I am sure any PR agent would tell you...

Stop threatening sanctions against your PATRONS, be still and silent on this subject, it will pass and the next controversy will come up and this POOR decision will become a memory. What made you think when you made the decision to post that it would not come up in your chat room and become a hot subject on this forum?

Thinking about it for a minute now, maybe they just didn't no what to do being there on the opposite side of the world and all, and though we would know how to best...punish him... or something :p But we really don't, so there's probably not much more to be done on either side.
