So I cashed out of cga.anomolypool to a MuCoWa wallet address today before I found out about the fork.  The MuCoWa wallet is stuck while syncing.  Any idea how to get it working?

I'm working on getting the newest Windows CGA wallet to sync as well, hoping it will finally sync.  It keeps getting stuck as well.  I'm following the forum advice, so we will see.  I have never used the MuCoWa before.  Is it possible to delete the bc and start over using different nodes.

I'm not a coder or crypto expert, but it might be nice if someone could upload the correct bc in a zip file to help everyone get synced.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can advise.

http://anomalypool.com/static/ is stable and is not affected by this! This can not happen with p2pools, because you get payed instantly for your shares.

I'm using the p2pool at anomalypool, and am running the 1.3.0.2-unk-beta client for linux downloaded yesterday.  However the client is giving me this message:
Code:
Warning: Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade.

I also cannot find recent transactions in the block explorers here: http://cga.thedigitalmint.org/index.php or http://cga.inceptioncraft.net/blockexplorer/chain/Cryptographic%20Anomaly.  Nor are transfers to poloniex showing up.

Is there anything I should be doing other than having the 1.3 client installed to make sure I'm on the correct chain?  Are the coins I've mined from the p2p pool lost now? Sad

Thanks for any assistance!

Cheers,
More info:
I deleted the blockchain files and restarted the client (without a config file), and synced everything up.  I'm no longer getting the warning/error on the client (although the balance and transactions are identical to before I resynced), but transactions are still not showing up on the chain explorers above.   Are the chain explorers not connecting to the correct chain?  I think I saw somewhere that the pools have stopped their cga daemons so I suppose it's not surprising that the coins are not showing up on poloniex, but not being able to find them on the block explorers makes me verra nervous. Tongue

Looks like I'm ok now. I downloaded and compiled latest client, but I think what I had done incorrectly was that I didn't have the correct name for the config file, so I guess I wasn't seeding off of the correct nodes.  Looks like I lost some coins to the wrong chain, but I'm ok going forward.  I'll keep my 8Mh on CGA for now! Smiley

EDIT:All of which I DONT get paid a cent for and should be probably spending my time finding a REAL job instead of listening to a bunch of whining.

As a developer i do think you are also a bagholder so it is in your interest for your coin to prosper..

mpos.cga.anomalypool.com has suffered severe damage to the database and the wallet.dat itself. Please withdraw your balances asap.

I been using the P2Pool, i see no reason to use a pool with higher fee`s just because it got some "fancy" interface..

Hello MiningViking. You may remember me from the Poloniex Trollbox, as I do a lot of public relations for CGA there and do CGA giveaways occasionally. s4w3d0ff and myself are the developers for CGA. Neither of us are bagholders. I have about 100KH/s to mine with at any given time, and s4w3d0ff can only mine with a Pentium 4. We also have basically zero net worth in BTC. For the record, here are screenshots of my BTC and CGA holdings: http://imgur.com/a/qcWod I've been mining with about 100KH/s since the first hour of the coin being launched.

We have both put an incredible amount of effort into this coin, and everyone wants to see this coin succeed and prosper. Please do not assume that we are in this for a quick profit, or any profit at all (though a little profit would be nice Smiley ). We've had all the pool owners and developers for CGA in IRC for over 24 hours working on this problem, and we're not going to stop until it's totally fixed.

I will continue to update this thread today with more details as we have more information to release.

Donate to the address in my sig and I will become a "bag holder", but for the moment I only have aound 40 CGA to my self. That is hardly "bag holding".

OK EVERYONE NEEDS TO SPREAD OUT THE NETWORK!
YOU ARE ALL FLOCKING TO ONE POOL THINKING THAT YOU WILL "get more CGA if I go to the pool with the most hash rate"! THAT IS FALSE! YOU GET LESS PER PAYOUT AND IT CREATES FORKS! Thus making the network have downtime and potentially losing coins on the forked chain!

80% of the net hash rate is in mpos.cga.anomalypool.com which is (one of) the reason(s) we are getting theses forks. Then you come into this thread and complain about forks, when it is your fault!

Start using cga.thedigitalmint.net/ or a P2P!

Stop complaining about what pool people use and provide us with updated wallets instead, the people that read first post then drone point their miners to the largest pool are unlikely to read on page 113 in this thread anyway.
Contact the exchanges about updating the wallets because all deposits/withdraws of CGA are frozen on both

YA they are frozen by my request. There will be a new update very soon, the issue is that people refuse to update. We have found that there are still very old versions out there that are still connected. The new update will be blocking those versions permanently.

The reason we get forks IS because the miners are "centralizing" a "decentralized" network AND not updating. It isn't because "the code doesn't work and needs an update". So I will continue to "complain" that the coin that I have to work on around the clock, releasing update, after update, has a bunch of miners that don't care about the structure of the network.

My solution: SPAM THE F*CK OUT OF THIS THREAD UNTIL SOMEONE NOTICES. All for the greater good.  Smiley

Now is better thanks!
Example
If block number is 100 and Difficulty 5 => 1 CGA
If block number is 100 and Difficulty 6 => 0.1666 CGA
Right?
You got it!

Cryptographic Anomaly is a crypto-coin that uses a unique block reward algorithm. The block reward is directly effected by the current difficulty. If the difficulty is below 3 then the block reward will be 0.33333333. If the difficulty is above 3 then the algorithm uses the modulo operation to find the remainder of the block number divided by the difficulty. If the remainder falls between 0.25 and 0 then an Anomaly is born, making a bonus block that is worth 1 CGA for that block. If the remainder doesn't fall between 0.25 and 0 then the block reward is 1 divided by the current difficulty.

What this does is as the difficulty increases (from a higher network hash rate due to increased popularity/demand) the amount of anomalies that are being generated decreases. At any given time the probability of 1 CGA coming into existence is, more or less, 1/difficulty (unless the difficulty is 3 or below, then probability is 1/3). The probability of generating a bonus block is (1/diff) * (diff * 4).

Sorry all but i don't understand Sad
Some good man can make me some examples?
If difficulty is 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 what became Block Reward?
Thanks!!!
There are 3 different cases:
Difficulty 0.5, 1, 2 and 3: Reward is always 1/3 CGA
For difficulty greater than 3, the reward is either the inverse of the difficulty (for example diff = 5, reward = 1/5 = 0.2 CGA) or
there may be an "anomaly" which is when the block number divided by the difficulty is very close to a whole number: if the "remainder" part of the division is between 0 and 0.25 then the reward is 1CGA.
The higher the diff, the smaller the normal rewards and the lower the chance to get a 1 CGA reward anomaly.
Hope this clarifies.

Now is better thanks!

If block number is 100 and Difficulty 5 => 1 CGA
If block number is 100 and Difficulty 6 => 0.1666 CGA

Why is my wallet keeps disconnecting/reconnecting trying to sync (with the message "0 hours behind")?
We are trying to get all the nodes on the same chain, that might be the reason. The nodes are constantly going on and off while we reset the daemons. Everyone is putting in a full days work on this one (with no pay) so bare with us.

Just wondering!  Thanks for everything!
