who is RStakerWbSVo8k1PfLkCK5rTXEjmX3HQH9?  seems odd that you guys are seemingly running a node that finds all of the blocks.  According to the staking calendar anyone who buys a micronode can expect to find 2 blocks a year.  crazy

🔥 Exciting news! After the latest legal due diligence and production of REVO nodes (physical, micro and virtuals) we are pleased to invalidate KYC as mandatory requirement! From now on, any new node purchase is elegibile for Airdrop Enrollment just by following normal invoicing behaviour. Because of our data conservation policy Early Adopters who completed KYC will receive an e-mail to confirm KYC data cancellation.

Join as Early Adopter before the next halving at -> https://join.revo.network/index.php?route=product/category&path=59

As promised, here are the results of the month:

The node in 15 Jul – 14 Aug gain about 20% , if you see in the blockexplorer some addresses have gained more than 25% .

Everything has worked well, and the node hasn't encountered any issues.

The next two months will be very important because around October 15th, the first halving will occur, reducing the block reward from 21 revo to 13 revo.

Next update around 15 Sept.

Bye.

Is it DIY?

I've really lost a lot of money on projects where I need to buy the proprietary Miner even though it's just plain stupid hardware.  Cry

Hi AiGuruBR, our revo nodes are actually not proprietary miners, everything inside them it's already available opensource at https://github.com/revolutionchain/
RVOs gets gifted to active adopters who purchase a node, because they will be actually providing real service for the chain itself.
RevolutionChain Italy is the company that started REVO development some years ago and is now working on REVO ecosystem. Real names, real people, real company location. You can even ping us via DM and talk with our devs at RevolutionChain HQ  Smiley

can be replace it from raspberry 4B?

Hello, Revo daemon runs on rasberry too, you can compile it from source here https://github.com/revolutionchain/revo or get latest release compiled for your OS here https://github.com/revolutionchain/revo-public-release/releases/tag/Mercury-0.22.1

Keep us posted on how this performs.

After one week of mining, I can provide the first data from my node. With approximately 2500 revo, the node stakes about every 2 days (each stake is worth 21 revo). Therefore, the current monthly reward amounts to around 315 revo. Currently, the coin's exchange rate is 2 USDT, which means it would be 630 USDT per month. If I had 5000 revo, I would need to switch to approximately one stake per day with doubled values. The trading volumes are still low, so there isn't much liquidity yet. Nonetheless, I would say it's an interesting development for now. I will post an update in 15 days and then in one month.
Bye!

Two weeks have passed, and it's time for the new statistics. I confirm the initial impressions: the node continues to stake approximately once every two days, and the monthly forecast remains around 15 stakes per month. This value is achieved with the node holding about 2500 revo ( 15 stake * 21 RVO = 315 RVO , +12,5% ) Of course, the number of stakes varies based on the quantity of revo held on the node; if it were 5000, the forecast would be one stake per day, and if it were 200 (like the micronode), it would be one stake every 20/25 days.

I don't understand the note from Bi0H4z4rD_; it's not the node's performance that's limiting, but rather the number of revo. ( 1 stake per month with 200 RVO is about +10/11% similar to a node with 2500 RVO)  If you increase the number of RVO you resolve the problem. Is better to have UTXOs of 100 revo, but even UTXOs with a lower amount can do it, and there are some examples on the explorer ( https://mainnet.revo.network/tx/5ee63d7e4d03e60f401bb70ed1c8c6203a75cdf7f36060db078326f91e2c4c77 ) . Another option is not to split the first 200 revo and wait for the node's stake to split them naturally; in this situation, there are no fees.

Next update around August 15th.

Anyone can see the stake's evolution by going to the explorer and analyzing the history of some addresses. The data will confirm my impression. The network is still young, so it's not difficult to conduct this research.

Bye!

I have now been staking for one week with a Micronode, and I have had zero income. I am pretty sure that other nodes, like the one that was on the north of spain, have gone offline for the same reason. To make it even worse, they market the node as having "two times the necessary UTXO to stake", but what they dont tell you is that there is a cost associated to splitting the UTXO, and that if you decide to split it without any income, you will end up with 100 tokens on one side and 99 tokens (which are insufficient to stake) on the other, making the situation worse than if you had not splitted it.

In other words, stay away from the micronodes for staking as they do NOT provide rewards. Buy it if you want the 200 tokens and the nanopi with the 128gb SD, and then just claim them, backup your wallet, reformat then nanopi 3 sd and use it for any other purpose than staking. Otherwise, just go straight to any other staking option, which at this point might have the same issue as the micronode because of people hoarding coins and the "randomness" mechanism not being random at all, but purely based on how many coins you have, making it a heavily centralized system.

Update1: After a few days more than two weeks, I got one block. This means that you will probably find 1.8 blocks per month, if you are lucky. So, the Micronode does work, it just comes with a very very small amount of RVO to be very effective.

Does the hardware get shipped out already if we order or are they yet to be built?

Hi! Every hardware you see it's available and around 150-200 nodes were already shipped to early adopters. For big physical nodes there's a waiting time of 2-3 weeks for shipping (we got cleared on the first batch in literally no time  Smiley ). VNodes are always available and micronodes will take no less than 2 weeks to ship.

For every kind of node, there's a shipping process, since the Revo access token for airdrop enrollment is a physical NFC coin that get mailed to your location Smiley

how does one become an early adopter?
I see the ann was posted in June but the chains seems to be running for some time?

Are all the "early" coins already given out?

By getting an hardware node, you actually support actively REVO blockchain and the team behind development. You're then getting airdropped as partecipation gift an amount of coins between 2000 and 5000. (smart contract automatically handle the process given your personal access token)

RVO allocated for Airdrop are still available to be checked at this address https://mainnet.revo.network/address/RAirdropS6HVMNBN1Wy3Ac2FXE25RnmoZ2/

Bitcointalk ANN was made "late" because we focused on services currently running on chain for other Clients and chain stability. We do things for good, and we are used to triple check everything. On blockchain realated stuff, there is no room for mistakes! Smiley

is there a faucet where one can get some coins for transactions to play with the chain a bit?

Hello! No right now there's no faucet for mainnet coins (only for testnet, available on revo.network), but you could try to ask on our telegram channel for some coins to try things out, or get even a single RVO from XeggeX, you should be able to perform atleast 10,000 smart contract transactions with a single one, if I remember the numbers right  Smiley

cool, will do so.
Another question, the Staking can be done only via the nodes or also via the local wallet?
The local wallet looks pretty much like the good ole coins back in the day so I assume that staking via local wallet is also a viable option?

Correct! Revo Core is based on QT libraries like Bitcoin. So staking works as usual like all other cryptocurrencies 🙂

Also Biomine (https://biomine.it) it's an Early Adopter of REVO !

5 years of silence. Now that's self-control! But unfortunately, such reviews from old silent accounts are more like a pre-prepared advertisement for a "golden shovel" than a real user review.
