Somewhere here Ken said that eventually we'd be able to transfer our shares between both exchanges.

Not possible.
only possible if you paid 5K USD to Ken to do the transfer for you.

Right now you'd have to pay a high premium for this service, yes. It will most likely, however, be available for free in the future. If I remember correctly it was VolcanicEruptor who had his shares transferred to BTC-TC, and afterwards stated this. He has had a close dialogue with Ken regarding the matter, and thus I trust the information to be correct.

Somewhere here Ken said that eventually we'd be able to transfer our shares between both exchanges.

Once that is implemented this spread/difference will be evened out to a much narrower amount by arbitrage trades. From what I've read it's not a high priority at the moment so may be some time away.

Yup. It was actually the guy that bought out his Bitfunder shares to go to BTCT that said that, not Ken.

Yes that's right, and as far as I understand this it's more a cross-exchange issue rather that a listings issue, in other words both Burnside and Ukyo need to bang heads together and that would take planning, testing and implementation. I think maybe Ken would have to pay them for their time so it's something for when ACtM is making big profits - so not that far away! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Is possible, but it's a pain in arse manual process Ken has to go through.

Bid price @ BitFunder is 0.0041.
I wish I had more funds right now.

If you are buying you need to check the Ask price not the Bid price: 1k at 0.004599 at the mo then another k at 0.00472

Avalon disappeared for a month and have only just come out with a statement. In theory chips are on the way again but no one is really sure what is going on if you read the avalon thread.

There'll be nothing said in public re: eASIC until the deal is signed off as far as I know. Last we heard from Ken/Pr(/Streets) the Bitcoins were busy being converted to USD which takes a while (to get a decent rate) given the problems on exchanges at mo (hello mt gox!).

Let's wait for the next PR release Smiley

This may have been covered so pleas excuse me if I am re-asking questions........

Some hash power expected in Aug/Sept was from the Avalon Chip Shipping, right? so where do we stand in that respect?

I don't believe anything solid, still, from Ken or eASIC as to how close we are to a 28nm chip either.

Crypto is the separation of Power and State.
Yawn, I got in, got alot, got in again, lost a little, now I am a "long" time investor, story of my life, Lets get over it and speculate over "REAL" future news from Active mining.

From what I've read on the latest offers and chip design specs, it seems the technical parts are always a tiny detail to the overall investor mindset on how to value a typical Bitcoin ASIC IPO.

Please replace "banana" with "terahash": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYBw_o_2nG0 Grin

Haha. I hadn't seen that short. Very good!

It is interesting that the fundamentals of our market, the technology that these companies are based on, is widely ignored or seen as "not that big of a deal". "MOAR TERAHASHES!!!"

Chasing the banana, indeed.
