I'd suggest these organisations, American or not, will only go after the dodgey bitcoin companies.  I'm off for my afternoon kip..

That's true but US administrative courts are on longer confined by the rule of law.

Instead they are engaged in a naked asset grab, which will not abate until kinetic resistance is encountered en masse.

ACTM's property and principles are located in the USSA and may be easily seized by any judge unamused by cute shell companies and smart-ass asset structuring.

This is going to sound sarcastic, but I don't mean it to be.

Are you of the mindset that the US gov't can and will do whatever they want, on a world-wide scale, regardless of any law/restriction that is in place?

Thanks for those, Vbs!

They do. They think the world should bow down to US interests.

There are 3 CIA employee who have been convicted in absence in the Italian courts for kidnapping but the US gov has refused to extradite them to face justice. However if the US want's to extradite an EU citizen all they do is submit charges, no evidence required, and they almost always get their man sent over on the next plane - EU/US extradition law 2009. So the EU abides by this mutually agreed piece of international law but the US ignores it whenever they feel like they know better - which is most of the time.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Seldon_Lady

However what this means is that the SEC are more likely to go after an EU citizen over a US one!

Does anybody actually think the SEC would be interested in taking down a legitimate US btc mining business? I don't think they are acting on anything other than fraud and ponzi. Legitimate tech businesses are not the target.

Crypto is the separation of Power and State.
Got out of IceDrill as quickly as possible.

Made a couple BTC on it too.

Them "Completing" their IPO is the beginning of the end. If Ukyo doesn't take action against them for their obvious deception of shareholders the SEC will at a later date.

Good luck to everyone in it.

Honestly, I'm far more concerned about the heavy handed fascists at the (American) SEC stomping all over ACTM with their shiny, taxpayer sponsored jackboots.

Ken needs some very heavy legal muscle on retainer, like Baker-Botts caliber whiteshoe thugs.  But that's expensive, to put lightly.

Nothing about ice.drill touches US soil.

Being US based is an awful liability.  Very sad and tragic, but that's status quo until we water the tree of liberty.

ActiveMining is a virtual identity totally owned by Active Mining Corporation (Belize).

As you well know if it has US based shareholders (which it does) the SEC consider it their jurisdiction and as I said in the MiceDriller thread, the EU and the US have a well used extradition treaty.

If you are worried about the SEC cracking down on a honestly-acting Belize registered company but you are not worried about them cracking down on a another Carribean registered company that IS acting in a very dubious manner then you are either deluded, insane, or trying to bring ACtM price down a bit before you buy back your shares.

I mean really, why are you here if you are 100% invested in Mice Driller??? Why are you on this thread? mmm

NB - don't bother answering that you have been on here enough, trot on to the MiceDriller thread where you belong.

It's sad that you have to update the community of this fact Ken, but when posters like Icebreaker try and bring panic, what else can you do?

Buy shares! Smiley Short term, it'll shake out those that aren't willing to see this investment through. Long term, it'll make my cost/share go down. I'm not defending the FUDsters - just saying that for those with a long term view, they're irrelevant.

I agree 100%, and trust me, I've invested as much as I feel confortable investing in a Bitcoin Security on ActiveMining. I have not gotten involved in any IPOs and believe Active to be the strongest of the bunch. I'm here long term.

I don't now why I read these forums. Can anyone recommend a pure BTC Securities News site without the dumbass commentary?

I might have to create one myself...

I update this daily with anything pertinent to the long term strategy of ACTM.

Try www.CoinBits.com

They also have an iPhone app.

They are really an aggregate site and seem to find just about all the mentions of bitcoin anywhere.
