Hi Guys,

I recently traveled to California for a nice vacation and to meet up with some companies such as Terrahash, HashFast, and also some local bitcoiners. While planning this trip I also tried to meet up with Ken but I arrived the day he was leaving I believe. However, one of the bitcoiners that I knew up here who wishes to remain anonymous is also a Silicon-Valley based engineer and in my opinion very well versed in the world of ASICs, was able to meet up with Ken for me.

I asked him to give me an overview of how he felt about Ken and the ASIC project he is working on in a nutshell. He confirmed with me that Ken is the real deal and that based on the conversation that was had, he doesn’t see any reason to think otherwise.

Now I know this might not sound like much but in my opinion if Ken can make this particular Engineer come to this conclusion then us shareholders should be in a very good position.

I’ll leave it at that and if Ken reads this he can confirm that he did indeed have a meeting with the Engineer on Friday.

This is looking even better guys!

Yes, I had a meeting with this particular Engineer last Friday.  We had a beer and talked about ASIC's in general, RTL programming, and a number of other things.

Good to hear, Ken.

What is the time frame for the official announcement(s)? While it's fun to watch the roller coaster price it would be nice to step out of the realm of a speculative instrument and into the reality of a mining company. I have no doubt of your delivery. Cheesy

Thanks!

It's probably a good idea to bury the updates on the 120th page of a forum thread rather than post it on the actual stock exchanges news updates.
If you know anything about BTC securities you should know the action happens here. If you want to stay informed you go to the source, you don't expect every little tidbit to be pushed to you.

That's a ridiculous thing to say. The investors shouldn't have to dig on forum threads for news. This is now a million dollar company and the information should be consistent, clear and easy to access.

A few words from Ken right now would do some good to the markets after today's zigzagging.

Oh wow. Panic down

It means, it's the best time to buy. Smiley

Is it ? There are 2 new competitors about to go to IPO. Both of them seems to be same or better as ActM and in earlier dates too.

Yeah, sure profit, another cheap shares bought, how sweet is that.

How does one change withdraw address on BTCT?

You can't.  It's a security measure so that a hacker can't either.
Make a new account, transfer shares.

Seems useless, since a hacker could do the same and transfer the shares directly, transfer the coins through buying the shares from the new account and transfer the shares again. Increases the labour of theft somewhat, but if trade and transfer are protected with multi-FA, one could do the same with the withdrawal adress....or do I miss something.

Sorry for continuing this off-topic topic, but it bumps my logic.

I believe if you enable 2FA, you'll need it to update the withdraw address as well. So a thief would not be able to change it unless your 2FA method was also compromised as well

you missed something... If the account is locked to one and only one btc address for payout, then how do you propose a hacker could get funds out?

Nice. I found out that there was a request form under the support task. Takes up to 30 days.

EDIT: never mind, I just understood the labor intensive part.

That's a great heuristic.  Consider it stolen and added to my collection of pithy investment sayings.   Grin

Been almost 2 weeks since any official update. Share price has risen to as high as 4x IPO price during that time. Not a peep out of anyone 'in charge'. No updates at all. Not even a slight effort made to post up something bland on btct to satisfy onlookers. It's a good thing this has potential, because it's being run like a damn amateur shop.

I know, i know, a 'board' is being 'formed' as we speak.

Actions, they speak louder.
Seriously? The meeting with eAsic was less than a week ago. Cool it with your absurdly high expectations.
Absurdly high expectations? You really think that's what the above is? Have you ever seen or invested in a properly running stock?

We were told to wait until at least next Friday, that's next week, whilst the deal is put in place. I'd be happy if it was all done that quickly, personally. Do you want the activeminer staff schedule? They've said what they're doing. Converting money, sorting out the short term mining, and finalising with eASIC.

We've had maybe 2 or 3 working days since then and you're complaining? Seriously?

If you're nervous then you've clearly invested too much.
