I see there's a tender offer to convert AMC shares to ActiveMiner shares. Can anyone summarize what the pros and cons of doing this tender would be for a shareholder? As far as I can tell it's optional but it's not clear what it means to the lay investor.

AMC shares only get profits from mining and 10% sales.
ActiveMining shares get profits from mining and 100% sales.

I've been following this thread for a long time very closely. I finally got a membership to the site and can finally post!

I've been very interested in this company and I am definitely cheering it on as it grows.

One request though: Would Ken be willing to send some proof of his visit to California to show that he is indeed actually there? It's not difficult to verify and is good for the sake of transparency and gaining trust. I think it will definitely make a lot of investors happy to see it.

Thanks and good luck!

I thought of suggesting this - even a cell phone snap of a ticket stub for the flight would be pretty good...

You guys are so dumb. Do you not think that  eASIC would have something to report after this  meeting? As would ACtM - and the deal would be backed or refuted by eASIC within hours. Really guys get a brain.

Are you really being serious?

Finalising a deal, signing off, etc usually takes time. There may be details to work out, the contract needs to be drawn up if it hasn't been already, may need some lawyering, payment may need to go through before anything can be announced, and so on.

If it's today then great but it could be a couple of weeks before Ken can give real confirmation.

So don't start a panic if you don't hear today or tomorrow or Monday, although it'd be good to have something posted from Ken tomorrow or Saturday Smiley

central banking = outdated protocol
I would imagine a meeting like this would take some time.

Is there a chance the meeting didn't go as planned? Why would Kenneth wait on the announcement, the meeting is surely over by now

I'm guessing he's preparing a more thorough report.

If there wasn't a chance the meeting could go bad, then there wouldn't be a meeting at all, would there?

Bitcoin for all & all for Bitcoin

This is exactly where the majority of investor's confidence level is and is the primary reason the stock price is so low.  Once NRE is paid, proof is shown and no unissued shares remain, you can say good bye to cheap dividend reinvestment  Sad

I concur.

If this indicative of the average investor's confidence level, then we have a lot of room to move upwards

Hi Ken,

Please can we have something to calm investors nerves???

T

He's in a meeting at the moment. If all goes well, then most likely dinner to celebrate afterwards.

There's no rush to post proof, I definitely understand he has business (and potential celebration) to take care of. But at some point, proof of the trip should be shown. Every precaution should be taken in a crowdfunded bitcoin start-up environment to increase trust and confidence.

Looking forward to the good news!

If the meeting goes well, eAsic usually post a press release of new partners on their website - I'd say that would be pretty good proof  Tongue

there will be no fucking vegetables
Then dividends reach past the .0025/share mark, dillution of shares by the remaining 15,000,000 shares which means lower dividends
Your whole post is great. I'm right now realizing that the weekly btc mining income to pay .0025 to 10,000,000 shares would need to be 25,000btc.
