There are  BTC 95.57 worth of reasons for people posting FUD right now.  Expect it to become really intensive as we edge closer to D-day and they crawl out of the woodwork.

2. The pirateat40 path: The SEC prosecutes Ken for securities fraud and siezes all assets.  I see Ken has already acknowledged that the SEC is investigating him, so it might not be long before this one comes into play.

Woh woh woh, where does one reach this conclusion?

1. Ken was issuing illegal securites via BTCT and Bitfunder.
2. BTCT and Bitfunder shut down due to their potential legal liabilities
3. Ken acknowledges that Ukyo informed him that the SEC had specifically inquired regarding AMC
4. Bitfunder's assets are suddenly unavailable
4 a) the only explanation that doesn't involve a ripoff is that those assets have been seized by a legal authority

It's hardly a wild leap to conclude that there is a significant chance that the SEC investigation into Ken will lead to charges and asset seizure.

There are technically no ActM "shares" at the moment, unless you count the list of public addresses that Ken has written on a napkin.

I cannot even believe the amount of utter crap taking place in here.

Why do I bother.

Some of it is pretty funny and you wanna be update to date on any new information that might come out (probably not gonna happen anytime soon).

Who knows... Ukyo is now in Cypress with someone from NeoBee... that same someone has admitted that the funds are "gone".

So pardon my intruding, but what does Neobee have to do with the funds that Ukyo is holding?  He is only a messenger from the looks of it, and simply trying to help get the funds released.. this is all kind of strange
Has anybody talked to Neobee?

The amount of idiots who blame Neo & and Bee for helping Ukyo makes me sick. They don't have any liability towards the users of BitFunder and WeExchange. All of the responsibility and liabilities are still on Ukyo and his WeExchange company.

Hope this isn't an attempt to say that my shares are his, as a way of "losing" them..

And why would Neobee have activemining shares?  something isn't adding up

I think we should also stress, even if there is very little to no news, any post will be better than not.

repost (started as pm's)

Hi Ken,

The recent activity on the thread is discussing the merits of regular fortnightly brief updates from yourself.  A brief paragraph that should take no more than 15mins of your time.

Would you be willing to consider this moving forward?

If so, I would be happy to organise a proposal for a format you could use after consulting with the shareholders.

Your agreeing to this, in my view, would go a long way in restoring and building confidence which is will undoubtedly help the success of ActM given that future customers will read our thread in doing their due diligence.

Cheers,

zumzero

I am going to start giving a weekly update with ActiveMining-PR.

Thanks for this Ken.  Hopefully we can steer this thread away from the insanity.  Smiley

Thanks for sharing ZumZero. Good news.

Right guys, let's make something productive of this positive development.  Might I suggest that people PM kleeck as has been discussed.  kleeck will very kindly sort through it all and present something which follows the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) principle which we found worked well for us in restructuring the company from AMC to ActM.

I would like to stress that this will represent the shareholders questions and queries that we would like answered on a weekly basis, however it is entirely up to Ken how he goes about sharing info.

Yes, we are powerless until shares can be traded.  It will be interesting to see what happens to the price when we start getting weekly updates.  Wink
Even being able to trade shares means nothing. Only Ken can make this happen and he is choosing to keep quiet at this time. He will either come through with the plan or he won't.

Did Ken say we would get weekly updates once shares made it to the exchange?

Ken said he is going to start weekly updates.  Read a couple of pages back.

That post looks like it has been deleted; it's not showing up in kslaughter's 'last posts'

FACT: There is nothing any of us can do about anything so we might as well just all shut up and wait to see what happens. Ken is either going to get this working or he isn't.

You have a very limited imagination.  I can see dozens of outcomes.

1. The BFL path:  Ken promises lots of good results in a couple weeks for the next year. (Likely if external factors don't intervene)
2. The pirateat40 path: The SEC prosecutes Ken for securities fraud and siezes all assets.  I see Ken has already acknowledged that the SEC is investigating him, so it might not be long before this one comes into play.
3.  The Yifu path: Ken operates a mine for his own sole benefit using customer and investor money.  I don't buy this scenario as Ken isn't competent enough to actually execute.
4.  The trail of tears: Things do work, but network size and growth outpaces Ken so badly that dividends never rise above a few satoshis.

Those are just the highly probable outcomes.  The options are endless at this stage. Plus, the bets are all on the table and there is zero liquidity to change the positions folks have taken.  So grab some popcorn and enjoy the ride.

The link between your comments and Vigil's quote is tenuous at best.  If you want to buy cheap shares, contact VE directly, he'll sell you 50,000 near AMC IPO price.  Wink

I suggest a class on reading comprehension.  Once you've learned to read you will understand there is a direct link.  Vigil claimed there are only 2 outcomes to consider.  My response clearly outlines many alternatives other than Vigil's black and white viewpoints.

Once you pass advanced reading comprehension you might also notice that my view is that the outcomes are heavily weighted towards results that will be negative for shareholders, at any price.

That will give you the wisdom to realize my motivation for commenting is in no way driven by a desire to buy cheap shares.

Vigil pointed out that the shareholders are powerless to act as they are merely passengers.  He then said Ken would either succeed or he wouldn't.

There are only two possible outcomes.  Either succeeding or failing. That is clear from what Vigil said.

Having intentionally misinterpreted what he said, you went on to point out that there were in fact dozens of outcomes and of the four most likely, each falls into the 'failure' category.

You made no mention of your top four successful outcomes and I am keen to learn what they are.  Try not to insult me if you chose to reply.

1)   BFL path -            failure
2)   Pirateat40 path -   failure
3)   Yufi path -            failure
4)   The trail of tears - failure

Not an excuse. If I could sell my shares I would have sold them all straight after reading that thread. That was throughly unimpressive for someone running a multi-million dollar enterprise.

Indeed, if this guy were running something on a public exchange then the shareholders would have lost their shit.

Horrifically unprofessional, I was pretty much going "Ken, Ken my man, what the hell are you doing!?" the entire time.
On such an exchange there wouldn't be shareholders stalking him and his family, making death threats, or making baseless scam accusations. Without the scam accusations I'm sure Ken would have been much more cool-headed and not made that remark. It is definitely unprofessional of him, but understandable.

and to add to that, some people in this thread are either pubescent children or totally retarded given that they seem to have no regard for the price of their own shares (if they own any at all). these idiots need to understand that if they want to get a good price on the shares they, over and over, talk about selling as a temper tantrum protest of some sort in their pathetic childlike mind, they need to not spread fud and act like not getting attention is the end of the world!

idiots.. no wonder the world is like it is.. we are surrounded by morons
