True colors?
Are you on crack?  I never hid my goal: Make Money.
I invested in Active Mining because I believed Ken could make me money.

This is not a fraternal organization or a religious club, Knybe.
This is a business and the goal is to make money.

Sorry you feel rejected, Knybe.

If Ken makes me money, he is my Hero and he and I will eat steak.
Kleeck is just the second coolest guy in this thread and that is why he is invited.

cool your jets pal, I hardly feel rejected... you flatter you.
ahhh how the ignore list doth grow.

Hey Lorenzomoney, maybe you should have arranged that by pm then if its a private thing instead of spreading it all over the forum and confusing people?

Thanks sumzero, you know it makes sense. Yeah I was looking forward to a trip to the States never been before, but hey ho, you can't get a decent cup of tea over there anyway so not to worry.

Just to be clear about the steak dinner.

None of you were invited. It will just be me, Ken and Kleeck.

Peace Out.

It is interesting how I post something simple, and you all, like a bunch of drunk macaques playing polo on the backs of three legged half blind Jack Russel terriers go off and plan a party that will never happen.

On the other hand, it is a lesson on the principle of how Nature abhors a vacuum, and in a news/informational vacuum, people will invent crap.

The ideal scenario is that Ken pulls through, a product gets manufactured which mines and which gets sold, there is a viable exchange, the price goes up, I sell some of my holdings, bitcoin is over $300, I cash out and never have to return to this thread to read the nonsense all of you post on here.

Peace Out for the second time. May Lord Satoshi bless us all.

lol! amen to that.
yeah exactly. true colors shown bright...
wouldn't wanna meet you bunch of silly-nannies anyway.

Does this mean the dinner won't be happening?  Darn it!  There was me thinking it was a real possibility.

No problem, if that's what Ken meant by his post that's cool but I thought he was making an open invitation from what he said.

Oh no, if the share prices tanks another 23% and I sell I would only just break even!

Stop feeding the Trolls man, come on enough already.

Sorry man, you are right.  I have deleted my posts to the resident troll and have just hit ignore.

Are you going to the USA dinner date Stuart?

I reckon things are going to happen soon. The timelines outlined by baragraphics suggest that. I also take Ken at his word, he is doing whatever he can to make this a success. What does that mean? Well it will mean being in constant contact with eASIC, making sure they are progressing as promised. It will mean he's in constant contact with his engineers making sure they are working hard and as quickly as possible. It will mean he's watching the opposition when he gets time. It will mean he is putting in the hours necessary to solve the exchange issues we face. It will mean he is looking ahead all the time for stumbling blocks - we saw this in his pre-btc-tc shutdown ACtM exchange work. It will mean he IS DOING EVERYTHING HE CAN. He said himself he doesn't stop thinking about ways to maximise the success of the shareholders - and lets face it he HAS to because if he wants to hit the big time himself he needs to pay off the IPO price on 10Mill shares before he gets any of the mined BTC.

I am happy with that, I take the man on his word, he's never lied or fabricated anything on here has he? If he wants to make himself a lot of money here (and I'm sure he damn well does) then he needs to put in the work. I honestly believe we have a great chance here, and I don't think Ken could work any harder on the business side of things.

Remember kids, this forum is a side show. Nothing on it has any bearing on the nuts and bolts of ACtM. Every minute Ken spends on here is less time he has for real business, phone calls, conference calls, share issues, sleep etc.

So hold tight is my analysis here. Not long now.

News to me.  The only thing I know he has committed to in terms of information sharing is the Profit & Loss statement and Balance sheet, due by the end of October.

Yeah man, as an optimistic shareholder I am confused as to whether the whole "Let's meet up for steaks thing" is some elaborate joke of depression. Guys, I believe Ken is really putting in work.

As a shareholder though, a lot of us would really like a heads up as to where we are at. If we are behind, let us know. If we aren't, let us know. Not by just saying "we are not behind"; we would like some kind of information as to what is the next step, what roadblocks (if any) we are facing and how smooth or bumpy the rode is as we head into Q4 of the year.

I saw earlier about some type of update coming on Nov 1st, does anyone know when Ken has said this or a link to the information regarding this?

Great ideas guys.  Might I suggest that we start a fund and request that Ken holds onto the first big div payment to pay for the trip?

I'll be flying from Manchester Airport, UK, so if any of you guys live near and want to share limos, just give me a shout.  Don't worry if you have pretended to be a US citizen up until now.

It wouldn't be right for VenerealEruptor to go uninvited so perhaps some kind soul might buy him a couple of ActM shares, I'll organise Ken's body armour.

Sorry that mumble/bALLBREAKER can't be there, I'm sure he's got a very important appointment with his qwerty.

Jolly good show.  Grin

If VE goes then I won't be there and probably neither will Ken so count VE out. No body armour will be required there will be enough of us all to keep it safe and if we are worth that much Ken will be worth even more so he will have a bodyguard for sure by then. I'm UK too, we can meet up before the trip. A shame Concord is no longer flying would love a trip on the incredible piece of engineering, but Branson may be helping out with the estimated 20Mill needed to bring her out of retirement.

"Important Notice (October 23th, 2013):

Please be advised that ActiveMining is implementing the following rules and procedures for Investors wanting to keep their shares:

Investors who fail for any reason to provide the information necessary to obtain "Verified" status on Bitfunder are encouraged to transfer their shares on BitFunder to the Bitfunder user AMC-TENDER no later than November 6, 2013 before dividends are paid.  All Investors transferring their shares to this account will continue to accumulated dividends on their shares.

The October 30th dividends will be suspended and accumulated for payment on November 6, 2013."

So as a US share holder, do I move my shares over to user AMC-TENDER?
Also I don't know what Ken means by "sign" when he says, "to sign the Bitcoin address in their Bitfunder account at a later date."

You have to have full ownership of the BTC address, so coinbase will not do. I suggest you google "signing messages using my btc address" or something similar.

No reason we can't do both. You are right, a NYC meet up would be just incredible. Then a flight to Springfield to meet up with Ken, see the facilities then another nice meal where we can all raise a glass to the CEO.

I'd want to purchase a VMC rig while there and ship it home, not necessarily just for mining, but also it will be something to show the grandchildren.

If Ken succeeds at a) delivering a reasonable product to market which sells well, b) develops an exchange with some depth that allows for trading c) puts aside a few machines for ActM to mine d) continues to pay out dividends and increases the dividends accordingly, I will hunt Ken down and buy him the best steak which can be bought in a Missouri steak house and will thank him personally. And that is not a threat, that is a promise. Also, I will buy a steak for myself and will join him in dinner.

Good idea. I'll join you guys. Let's make sure this all works out.

Yes, lets do that.

Edit:  I am doing everything in my power to make this work out.

I'd like to suggest The Old Homestead Steakhouse in Manhatten.

On another note; it's so refreshing to have more than half the people in here ignored... makes for a much more pleasant experience.

Yeah, ignoring the trolls has made this thread more bearable, but I would still prefer if people stopped quoting them, or at least if there was a way to ignore the posts quoting the people you've ignored.

Isn't NYC a bit far from the action? I'm sure we will all want a tour of the facilities too so keeping it in MO might be the best idea?

I just like the idea of a "Successful Shareholder Dinner" in the Big Apple.

When we do hit it, NYC is just a hop skip and a jump, best steaks in the world... I'm in L.A. myself.
