Crypto is the separation of Power and State.
HashFast customers now have more certainty and a firmer shipping date based on the updated, more accurate schedule.

OTOH, ACTM customers (all five of them) and investors (both of them) still know little to nothing about

1. Klondike status

2. FH chip specs (die size, dies per wafers per batch, etc).

3. FH chip schedule (batch size, timing, etc)

4. PR agent hire (promised last month)

5. balance sheet (promised last month)

6. Batcave status (lease signed?  $/sq ft?  $/kWhr?)

We know one share of IceDrill is worth 12MH/sec in mid-Nov.

We don't know how many MH/sec a share of ACTM represents, nor when it will be online.

You can redeem 120,000 shares of IceDrill for a 1.2TH Sierra with mid-Nov delivery.

You can't redeem 120,000 shares of ACTM for any amount of ASIC, with or without mid-Nov delivery.

You are indeed the re-hash king but my eyes grow heavy and I can't quite keep my self aw......

Zzzzzzzzzzz

My Dearest zumzero,

I don't expect you to put down the pom-poms and stop cheerleading long enough to address my six enumerated concerns (Klondike, specs, schedule, PR, balance, Batcave).

After all, you wouldn't listen back in August when I told you to read the writing on the wall so there's no reason to expect you to suddenly start now.

Remind us again how that's working out for you.   Cheesy

My advice to any panicked investors of BTC securities. (X r/bitcoinstocks)

First of all, for the sake of credibility, here's my story: I heard about Bitcoin several years ago but didn't buy in until around $50 earlier this year. I put it straight into AsicMiner shares at .7.
I day traded, picked up a few dozen more shares. Sold a bunch at the peak (around 4.9 on BF) and picked up a bunch of AMC shares at .0005. I sold about $12k worth for living expenses, all for above .005. In short I have an excellent record of buying low and selling at the peaks. I'm still holding 250,000 shares of ActM, 70 shares of AsicMiner, and maybe 35,000 of IceDrill. I've cashed out more USD than I ever put in initially.
And even though my portfolio value has "lost" 6 figures I'm still a happy shareholder. So what is going on right now? To the 48-BTC-loss guy from r/BitcoinStocks and anyone else who is down on their investment:
You haven't lost anything until you sell at an undervalued price. You own shares on an exchange that is being hammered by regulators, which is artificially driving down market value.
Don't bother looking at the price figures right now because they don't contain any useful information. Consider your stocks insoluble until a colored coin implementation pops up (which, with the latest push for development, should be any time now).

If you're in a position where you have extra coin to invest, I truly don't see the prices going any lower than they are now. I also think that once the new wave of investors start to get more familiar with the BTC space, we'll see share prices (at least of the companies that I mentioned) start to go up.
Don't get me started on how cheap stuff is on Havelock right now. (Particularly AM1 in my opinion, not trying to pump here at all though). BTC investors are so shortsighted that all it takes is a few weeks of withheld divs to bring the price down. Soon the divs will start coming back up, colored coins will come online, and the new investors will show up. It's going to be an excellent combo and I think anyone holding BTC securities is going to be very happy in the next few months. If you're lucky enough to be able to buy in Bitfunder right now I envy you.
Just my $.02, smart money is staying put and the smartest money hasn't even flinched.

hashslow is already announcing delays, so give it up already

Excluding the most optimistic shipping date from the range of possible outcomes is not a delay.

Anyone familiar with BTC ASICs knows better, expects the unexpected, and accounts for Hofstadter's Law.

Only 45,000 shares to take it to 0.001 btc per share on Bitfunder.

Goes to show that on good news the price will recover rapidly.

0.001 isn't quite a recovery... !

Good news will result in a rapid recovery of share price.

This always happens...sell orders disappear and we pump on low volume. This time we will stay up there and hopefully more volume will come.

Bad news for the competition, good news for ActM. Looking forward to seeing updates from Ken soon!

So bALLBREAKER has to wait for his machines.  Oh well, you win some you lose some.

I always presumed "anticipated late October shipping" marketspeak translates into 'mid November actual shipping.'

There was never good reason to assume the most optimistic scenario would be the one to actually occur.

Only a noob ACTM investor would not account for Hofstadter's Law when pre-ordering ASICs.

In other news, the ACTM/IceDrill ratio has reached a record low, with ACTM crashing to .0006 and IceDrill recovering to .0008.

Why is this?

Because 120,000 IceDrill shares will get you 1.2TH of world-class HashFast hardware on a newly-solidified mid-Nov delivery schedule, while 120,000 ACTM shares won't get you anything (not even a clue as to if/when ACTM is shipping).

Yawn.

Ken, can we get an update on how we are going to get our shares out of bitfunder?

Only one week to go before deadline.

Supplemental Notice (October 11, 2013):

Quote
Supplemental Notice (October 11, 2013)

As of October 8, 2013, BitFunder is not assessing any new fees against any user BitFunder knows to be a U.S. person and whose account will be restricted in accordance with BitFunder's October 8, 2013 notice.

Users who are U.S. persons or users who fail for any reason to provide the information necessary to obtain "Verified" status are encouraged to transfer their shares from the BitFunder site to the respective issuer(s) no later than December 1, 2013.

As of December 2, 2013, BitFunder will initiate a transfer from the BitFunder site to the respective issuer(s) of any remaining shares held by any users that BitFunder knows to be U.S. persons or who did not obtain "Verified" status by December 1, 2013, and will provide the issuer(s) with the public bitcoin address associated with the user account. After transfer, each user will need to work with the issuer(s) with respect to the future treatment of the shares.

On December 2, 2013, all bitcoin balances in the accounts of users that BitFunder knows to be U.S. persons and users that did not obtain "Verified" status by December 1 will be transferred to their linked WeExchange accounts.

Thanks!

So the deadline is December 1 then.

Technically it's not even a deadline really. After that, Ken still has your share info and you'll just have untradeable shares until such time as there's an exchange to trade them on. He can still pay out dividends to the address you've got on file with BF. Obviously that's not an ideal situation, but it's really no worse than holding AM direct shares.
