Hi, new to bitcoin, I invested some money into bitcoin mid June after seeing all the hype online, since investing it's dropped like 20% really not sure what to do now if I should sell up now take a 20% loss or hang onto it and hopefully it will go up again? But after reading the news looks like it's not going to go back up?

Sorry for sounding stupid just jumped into something I didn't no anything about.

Thanks
I prefer to you to do long term investment because Long term investment is really good way to make money. I always do long term investment than day trade because I know that long term is more better than day trade.

u need a strong hands to avoid ur losses if a market is going to a bearish. Just wait because the price will increase too. when price falls you buy more by until your budget at low price is sure to be great if you ever pump the price on the market. Just be patient with your key to successful trading.

One of the major rule in trading is never be panic if the rices are going down, here in cryptocurrency fluctuations are normal but thing is very much sure that the prices will increase after some time. Hold them if you still have bitcoin in your account because the price will go further up.

Well if you've invested in btc mid june then surely you're not in a loss anymore but in a very good profit. He price today was like 4x of what it was back then and should have good earnings by now same as me.

Before investing in bitcoin, you should have done your research on what you were going to do with your coins, now I see no reason why you don’t know what to do with your coins, unless you just want to buy the coins and maybe doing research before going in

You enter at a hype. Wrong move, lesson learned. Don´t make another wrong move to learn the lesson. Keep you 4600 BTC and wait. Before the year ends you will be at good profit. If your heart cant take the emotions, put a sell order on 2 or 3% gain and forget about in. in the short future ou have your fiat back at a small profit and you keep on leaving without an heart condition:)

Just hold your coins longer till you get your profit, Try to read good news about the coin that you are holding and also try to work on signature campaigns so you will earn more coins while holding. Its easy to earn bitcoins just search more ways to do it and you will learn everything in this forum.

Do not be a loser, be patient a little then you will benefit from bitcoin, the key is patient and do not easily panic.

That is normal for beginner traders your'e already reacting to your emotions. Just hold your coin's a bit longer its not always turning out to what you have expected. While waiting for your coins to rise up again. Try joining signature campaigns for awhile so you can earn coins while waiting. Maybe the money that you invest is so much but i believe that you will still gain profit from it buy just waiting for the currency to rise up again.

Of course, do not let by some trap or FOMO, FUD on market make you have wrong decion when trading. Unless you have set cut loss point before create this order, if the price of altcoin you trading has falldown to this base, please cut loss and comply your rules trade.

Do you want an advice from us? For me, I'll advice you to keep and save it. I'll guarantee you that you can make your money grow after one year of holding it. If you're in hurry, you can exchange it but make it sure that you'll read the instructions of sending your coins into an exchange site.
What you told is absolutely right. But this is something only those people can do, who has some other sources of earning. But those who don’t have any source of earning other than bitcoin cannot go with such thing. If a person trades only in bitcoin and he start holding his coin and waiting then what is that person supposed to do? It will be difficult for such person to live. So I think that here are two situations. One is that if you have other sources then you may hold, two if you rely only on bitcoin then keep trading.

Crytocurrency investment is a good way to make great profit without must hard work but you must understand how it works. You should not investment the money you can not afford to lose especially if you are new to it. It is very risky if you are not experience and you have little knowledge on how to trade successful. Your loses of 20% can turn to 100% if you can be a little bit patients.

If you are new and you want to earn and make profit out of your investment into Bitcoin the best thing to do is to actually hold all your Bitcoin and invest a lot of time for it to make a big profit in the future. Time is necessary because before you could have an actual profit on any type of investment you must have at least a time table for it to progress and have development in terms of price and value. If you are good in managing try trading a part on the portion of your Bitcoin to make a more profit out of it.

Well if you can't bear even 20% loss then I don't think you should hold or invest in crypto currencies further because the volatility is much more than 20% even in the micro short term.

However, I am assuming that you have not sold your funds and if you have the private keys of your bitcoin wallet in which you have funds then you can claim Bitcoin cash using it and that would reduce your 20% and even the price of Bitcoin surged than original price, so I am sure you are no more at a loss stage. As I said, if you can't bear 20% loss then do not invest at least in crypto currencies because the market is wild in terms of volatility.

I think you should sell your coin if the price is higher so that you can earn more money. This coin will help you to become rich so you should be wise and smart in managing this coin of yours. But in case of emergency you can sell your bitcoin anytime.
Split your funds to many parts include investment, holding and saving for case of emergency.
It will helps you avoid regret when the price of Bitcoin lower than your hope.
