you can sell your coin on your balance now,and switch them with other coin with same price or little higger which have more bright potential to rising. dont try to switch with popular coin like doge etc, that coin have stabilized price,so you need more time if you switch your coin now with popular coin

Hi, new to bitcoin, I invested some money into bitcoin mid June after seeing all the hype online, since investing it's dropped like 20% really not sure what to do now if I should sell up now take a 20% loss or hang onto it and hopefully it will go up again? But after reading the news looks like it's not going to go back up?

Sorry for sounding stupid just jumped into something I didn't no anything about.

Thanks
Just have some more patience. Now the price has almost recovered from $1850 to $2750.If you wait, then you could recover your losses and at the same time, even you could get huge profits since bitcoin price is expected to rise more after august 1.
yes, that's right...Be more patience in waiting. Besides, because of the volatility whether the price value upside down, traders should not worry about it. So in your case be still and calm okay. Smiley
For as a trader that would be the appropriate attitude will be for being patience and dont panic when there is a time that some coins goes down or dump but not really. So keep it up so you can get what you get loss next time.

Basically you just invest without any knowledge of those risk associated when buying bitcoin. What kind of person you are just putting up money into investment without worrying too much and now look at you, instead of comfortable you are now worrying. Sorry for being sarcastic but use your common sense. If there's no price decrease then maybe we are all hoarders today and will just take an easy way to become rich.

We all have positive thoughts about bitcoin and it's expected high price on the future. If you will just based on that 20% drop then try to learn more. Considered the money you put in bitcoin as loss so that it won't stress you.

Don't be to hard to him, in the end he made a profit cause bitcoin price is where it was before drop. He is not aware of it, but he was very lucky cause bitcoin price recovered so fast.
Instead pushing him around try to learn him a bit more about good timing for trading, when is good to buy and when to sell. No one is born with knowledge, share your knowledge with people around you and here. I know that OP is lazy ass, and he could find many similar threads, but new people will never learn to be more active. We cant do much about that, except to not get annoyed and to try to be helpful.

Indeed, it is better for you if you wait and hold you bitcoin for a long time especially after august 1. Because I'm pretty sure that soon bitcoin will have an enormoous value. I believe that "patience is virtue", the more patience you have the more profit you wil get.

If you did still hold as of now then im sure you are on breakeven on those last days when price do hits up 2800 again or even on profits. Hopefully you did sell on those pricepoints when you do see you are on profits which is common thing to do when we are already seeing some gains. If you did sell and cut loss then its sad since price will always rebounds back when theres a dip which is normal on bitcoins price.

Hold it for long moment. It is normal that the value of the coin is going down and going up. We all know that most of the cryptocurrency are volatile means it is suddenly changes. I prefer to you to do not panic and hold your coin for long time.

According to me, now you should wait. Btc prices are starting to rise. Today the btc price is $ 2750. And it will continue to increase, especially after August 1. You lost 20% and if you sell it will not get back. So you should wait. Just a short time later I think you will get back the lost 20% and maybe have the profit.

Yes, once we sell our coins only should consider losses or else it is not a loss because still got a chance to make a profit. I suggest if you got some more funds it is better time start buying in small quantities to average down your coin price. Don't sell it now unless if you need of funds very urgently because surely you will get a chance to sell your coins at higher prices.
Well, this is best choice for the happens in current.
Example: When the price of Bitcoin falldown to under $2000 and create panic on crypto market make most altcoin are falldown to lowest price, even drop down under Bollinger Band very far. If this time you use 30% your funds to buy altcoin and Bitcoin, you will have profit 50-100% after some day.

In this field you always needed positive and negative thinking , The main reason behind this factor is that the most of the coins getting down but less no. Of the coins increase in price daily .
But this is also a truth that particular coin will rise in price in one or two month , so more better to buy those coins which are at low rate .
And here you made a mistake that I think made buy the coin at high price , but still you don't need to be negative for your loss because one day in the year or month or in week will come where the price will be much better for that coin and you will.make profit by sell the coin .
So 20% loss is not a big loss , just wait until the price get up and don't get panic to sell the coin because it is that time when you need much patience to hold the coin .

Don't worry it will pump that you can not imagine.Don't sell bitcoin just hold your bitcoin. If you sell your bitcoin with 20% loss, you will cry after few days when bitcoin will be more than 3000$. Just wait and hold tight your bitcoin

Bitcoin can decrease down to $2000, but this is not the deal. The deail is if he waits enough, the price will rise again for sure. If you don't need emergency money, never sell when in loss.
I will suggest him the same. Bitcoins are very precious. It’s really wise to hold onto bitcoins when the prices are low and cash them out when prices are pumping. Be careful with how you use your bitcoins. They are the most expensive and precious digital coins of the crypto world. But yes, if there is any serious emergency, do cash them off.

The answer is so simple just hold and wait. That's all. But if you want to increase the amount of bitcoin which you have, you can make some investment. You can invest some altcoins which have good expectations for the future with a low market cap.You can also invest some of your money to the trustworthy ICOs. For example, DIMCOIN ICO is going on now. And I think this ICO has brilliant future.

Hopefully you didn't panic sell back then because if you did, you're probably regretting it right now have had a not so good first experience in trading. Just remember that trading is all about patience. The more you're willing to wait for the right time to either buy or sell, the more chance you have of earning good profits. Never let the movement of coins sway your decisions and make rash and panicky move
