In this African Cup final, Senegal is certainly more seeded than Algeria. But behind do not worry for the supporters of Algeria, it's just a revelation as always as always there in the final of a seeded team. Because in the final match later that can prove who can be the champion. So all the defensive teams have the chance to win, even for Senegal or Algeria. Because it is indeed difficult to predict.
It's really tight but Senegal is still the favorite of bookmakers. It will be a great match this evening IMO but it's too risky to bet on it. Too much uncertainty.

My suspicions were correct, Breaking News: Nigeria captain Mikel Obi confirms international retirement. source: BCCsport

I must say he have served his country in the best way possible to him. Putting in all his best for every game and won some numbers of medals with the team over the years (15years) maybe the 3rd position isn't that bad since he got to retired with a medal just as they (him & coach) must have planned all along as he didn't play much impact on field in the teams success this time around.  Wish him all the best and thanking him for the memories and service to country.

John Mikel obi undoubtedly has play a huge role in Nigeria success and it's about time he hung his international shoes even in club football he has really achieved greatness he is a complete football and I duff my hat for the legend

i think that Senegal will take the title people here in Algeria are preparing for the title if the players think like this they will lose the game
The Senegalese might be the favourite to win this edition of the African cup but Algeria have the last say about this...which gives it's people all the rights to prepare for the celebration party and fyi from the last games I have seen them play, I think their confidence has grown...the likes of Mahrez have stepped up their game and maybe on the game day the Algerians might deliver.

That's almost impossible because, if the Algeria's play the so Mich game they had played since the start of the tournament they will definitely take the first.....
I do not think there is any clear favorite for the title, it's 50/50 between the both teams, but for me Senegal have a slight edge based on previous games and I think they are going home with the trophy.

I've put money on Senegal to win and I'll be backing them, I love the way the boys attack and defend as a team, it's easy for them to create chances and they give quite a few away at the other end.
They've got all the characters of champions, but Algeria is definitely a perfect match, it'll be a game to watch.

My suspicions were correct, Breaking News: Nigeria captain Mikel Obi confirms international retirement.

He would go down as one of the treats to play the game for the super eagles. Although there are those who believe he did not reach his full potential, from the platform of the juniour world cup and Olympics. But he has been committed all through, and won for both club and country.
We wish him luck in all future endeavours.

Don't think we'll see mikel obi in action. His services isn't that needed in the team as he didn't play any of the qualifiers. Maybe he was just called due to the respect the coach has for him and just maybe so he'll be awarded a medal before he retires believing this could be the last time he plays for Nigeria national team.

Tunisia vs Nigeria is about to start.
I have hope that Nigeria is going to rule this match and I will possibly bet on them to score over 1.5 goals in the match.

Nigeria took an early lead with just 3 minutes on the clock, courtesy of a goal form Ighalo, there's only 6 minutes left before the break.

The game has been a boring one so far, both teams are not looking threatening.

I was definitely so unlucky yesterday.
Nigeria scored so early so I had all the fonts of winning my bet. I thought not to cashout and keep waiting for the second goal but it never came. At least Nigeria passed through the next stage.

Damn me and damn Tunisia haha but well done Nigeria. I know it's small consolation but it's still some bragging rights. And regarding Nigeria, supporting your team is always a tough call and I know my own pains with my home state's team (it's a state club). You feel sometimes like you need to be loyal and watch them all the time, you know how it is. Live or die, you didn't really choose clubs, it's just the club you were born to watch. And the same almost for national teams.

Oh well enough flip flap. Senegal ftw, I booked only a simple firsthalf win at over 3/1. Only bet worth taking as FT isn't even 2/1.

And in the end Nigeria was only able to create 1 goal until the match ended. That means Tunisia are unable to defeat Nigeria in the race for rank 3. Indeed many people predict the more seeded Nigeria for this match. So we are just waiting for the Final match later.

I thought you said you're Nigeria and you ought to support your team till the very end. Although, I knew you guys expected such from the players due to the team previous performance in the World cup and the African cup of nationals but honestly, winning the third place of the tournament still mean something cause some countries which has FIFA higher ranking than Nigeria went home empty handed.

It might mean something to others but not to us. And yes I'm a Nigeria but we played badly in this tournament getting lucky throughout with just a goal win difference. Reading online I heard the 20 year old goalkeeper did excellently just wondering why he wasn't used previously maybe it's time for the coach to go. I support my country and national team but they didn't leave up to expectations and can't see myself seating down to watch them struggle for third position. Did something better with my time. Congratulations to them though for wining the 3rd position but they can do better.

I guess you guys in Algeria are just really excited & planning to party before, during & hopefully for you guys after the game. The players will be nervous but focused. There won’t be any complacency from the players, they be will totally concentrating. It is their chance to be national heroes.

I picked the Eagles of Carthage in yesterdays match up thinking we would see a 2:1 or 3:2 type of game but they couldnt find the net.

I’m not watching Tunisia vs Nigeria but I think Nigeria will probably be too strong & take the 3rd spot.
I’ll definitely watch the final tomorrow though & expect to see the Senegalese dancing around with the trophy at the end of the match.
Nigeria team claimed the third spot as you presumed but a lot of we Nigerians are not happy cause we expected something more from the team rather than the third spot.
Nevertheless, the final game will be play on July 19 @20:00 +1GMT not today.

As for me i have been neutral throughout the tournament but i would love Senegal to take it home.
This should be Mane's year given the way he has tried to work hard for it.
I go for Algeria as the winner of this year AFCON tournament.

I got my money on Tunisia to cause an upset tonight. Simple bet. Parlayed with a City win that already took place (against West Ham) so I'm looking at 5/1. Sorry guys, I know many Nigerians are here but I think their slow starts in previous games will be punished again tonight!

Am with you on this one & also hoping it does happens as 3rd place is a poor result putting into consideration we missed last two edition after winning 2013 edition. We expected so much from the guys and they disappointed. But when you think about it the boys might not just play well themselves as 3rd position means nothing for a nation like Nigeria. We already lost and I'm sure many Nigerians won't be interested in watching the match, i know I won't. Just waiting for the finals to watch Mane display.
