Bola Tinubu once again took a position in the chair of power like twice. 70-year-old Bola Tinubu has worked hard and committed corruption to get into the chair of power.  He won the presidential election in Nigeria last February 25. Bola Tinubu will take power next May.

Bola Tinubu has many allegations of corruption in his name, he has taken advantage of widespread corruption in elections. Tinubu used his Lagos-based influence prestige and spread his network to become president.  And has worked hard over the years to build a strong network across the country. In this way Tinubu has won the pinnacle of corruption which I think the people will not enjoy much for the future.

people like you can easily be sold out. How can you say Such to Nigeria president elect? If your pained that he won your preferred candidate. Move on and stop spreading fake news in the name of registrating your anger over his victory in the poll. People must respect authority and rule of laws. All the candidate has one Allegations to another. This is politics and people do all kind of things to get into power. Please desist from desmarketing our president Elect. Instead pray for him to perform well.

The next event will be for INEC to declare the presidential election null due to the numerous anomalies that INEC demonstrated during the election.

Allow Peter's legal teams to analyze the BVAS results in cross-examination, as directed by the tribunal, to restore tranquility for every Nigerian citizen.

The evidence leveled against INEC because of no usage of BVAS to announce results during the election is one of the main reasons Nigeria had to rerun the presidential election than announce someone that stole the people's mandate.
my dear friend don't bring emotions into politics, this is one of the best election in Nigeria history. The presidential election was to an extent most free and fair presidential election in Nigeria history. If election was to be conducted as we used to, I think peter obi won't have contested. Why is peter obi legal team not asking for the states Obi won, like the south east materials? If they really want to be fair to all.
We must accept the outcome of this election will a hope of better Nigeria. But it's legal to go to court which peter obi has done. But don't call for cancellation of the election.

I told my people that election is something off someone who have a structure and they would depend on that structure to Australia for any political position for our country and you before you become a president in a country you must be a member of a cabal so without that so without that that will be a lot of controversy even though you happen to me the election through people's mandate when I told them that the person that is south east called Peter obi will not win the election many people disagreed with me because of the love they have on south east contestant

Hmm....After elections revamp the electoral umpire.
Observation of foreign election observers from the eu leaves much to worry about the just concluded presidential election in Nigeria.
The independent national electoral commission, question?are they really independent?
Until Nigeria gets her electoral processes, judiciary and governance right, until then accelerated development is not yet in view.
INEC is a total disgrace and disappointment. They told the Nigerian public that the elections will be free and fair and only the right candidate will be declared the winner. The opposite was the case and they threw the entire nation into anger and mourning. It was clear that Labour Party won that election but INEC refused to accept results and only transferred electronically to its server.

To cover their tracts they want to erase all the information in BVAS withoutt granting PDP and LP forensic team access to the last presidential election materials after a court order. The hope of Nigerians are now on the judiciary for them to always give fair and just judgements.

We know how long we Nigerians have waited for this forth coming elections, and the election was finally conducted yesterday, and as Nigerians we whole heartedly supported the labour party candidate (peter obi) and we all voted for him and we are expecting him to win.
We all believe that Nigeria is the only country we have and non Nigerian will like the disunity of the country. It doesn't matter who win or lose we have to put our heads together as one nation.

Each an every citizen has his candidate to vote for, it is the fact so we shouldn't see other that are not going the same direction with you as an evil person or enemy.

1. What if peter obi doesn't win afterwards
If Peter obi did not win, it not a do or die affair because even him know that the result will come out in two ways either win or Lose. I think the rules of the game is that you take what belongs to you and aspects the fact.

2.what if inec manipulates our votes.
Nigeria is a big country with over 200 millions of people, it will be hard for INEC to manipulate the result. In this case we as humans usually generalised any circumstances that favour us and it is not so sometime.
3. What if peter obi finally wins and goes contrary to the needs of the citizens (Nigerians)
This can only happen if we didn't pray for him because when is there he will not see things as he expected.
If he win we do not expect things to change fast because the country is not in good shape now, that's we shouldn't be faster than our shadows.

As Nigerians, as a people what will be our fate, what will be our next move? Please let's discuss...
We should be ready to work with anyone that win for the seek of love we all have for our country.

It's our right to be obey laws and policies of the new government.

All questions have been answered accordingly. The Labour Party Presidential candidate lost and it was clear that the Nigerian electoral body manipulated the elections. After the fraudulent election results were announced, the youths began to arrange to organize a nationwide protest but they were stopped by Peter Obi who knew that the current government can intimidate and even kill protesters without respect for their rights. Right now he is heading to court hoping that he would get justice. But the Nigerian legal system is known for its corrupt tendencies. They usually give favorable judgments to the highest bidders.

Most Nigerians before and after the election have come out to publicly proclaim the support for a particular political party candidate just like ops mentioned his own party and candidate, but most of them failed to take the time to check what are the possibilities of the leader if elected not rolling according to their expectations because just as you have said politicians can't be trusted.
Yes, but this election for me was not base on any political party, rather it's base on character, credibility and the ability to deliver Nigeria in the hands of old crabs and the sinking ship, even with the election done so far I don't see as an election, it was selection by the cabals who think they can impose any candidate on the people of Nigeria, it was pure fraudulent and broad daylight robbery of the people's choice/mandate.

-And the also seems to have forgotten so soon how in 2015 A particular politician was pronounced as the political Messiah Nigeria but when he eventually won the election his 8 years tenure have become the worst for Nigeria economy.,  and this time again history may repeat itself if their preferred candidates win.
There's a bit different of what we have now to that of 2015 election, even then election was rigged and wasn't many people choice candidate as you said compared to what we've seen in this year's election.

After everything election come either a calmness for everyone to anticipate for what the elected officials are going to deliver as all expectations being high, or the other way round where there will be chaos and crisis everywhere for agitation against the opposition party from ruling, there may be no peace this time, things would have gone wrong because the people's expectations were not meant as the fareness is under question mark.

When it becomes this specific and subjective, its good you move the thread to the Nigerian Local board, I suppose that's the purpose of the local board but the thing there is, there are other related threads already on the local board.

So, I'll suggest this thread beloved there or closed.

With regards to the concluded election, its normal that everyone wouldn't be pleased with the outcome. There is always going to be displeasure at som ends, some of it would be due to the atrocities committed in the system but, it's always left for the supreme court to decide, if the election would stand or not based on proceedings on the system and laws not followed and so is the elect.

After The Election, What Next?

After the election is  important. But laying the groundwork for 'after' should be done before, right?

People vote for a candidate because they like what he said, his platform. If they didn't like it, they wouldn't vote for him. Note that I am talking about real voting here, not about something like forcing only one candidate to be running, which is some kind of dictatorship behind the scenes.

What should people do before the election? Make the platform a candidate is running on to be a literal contract between the people and the candidate. Then, if the candidate is elected, he has to do what he said in his platform/contract, or a penalty. What penalty? Death/execution. Let me say it again.

The candidates' platforms are contracts to do the things the candidates say in their platforms. If they win, and don't do the things written in the contract in a time specified in the contract... death/execution.

Now, there might be exceptions, like life in prison with hard labor, if the newly elected person can't complete his contract on time because of outside interference. The details of how to handle the contract need to be worked out by the people.

This needs to be enacted into law. It will eliminate much of the election 'sinner' from doing things other than what the people voted him in for.

Your country is not practicing true democracy, elections should be free and fair, manipulation of results and votes are illegal venting of election process. If the masses agree to vote for a particular persons as choice of representative, then let the aspirants exercise fate on the fact that they trust on their capacity. If you think you're the best candidate let the people decides not by using thugs or criminals to sabotage election.

*Obi will win if the people truly vote for him,  his party should be at active in monitoring the process.
*Inec are human beings that's why the need to be monitored and followed up
*Obi will not betray the country, but we can't expect him to be perfect.

Change of government is for everybody to adjust, if the masses do not frustrate his government then we all can see a better Nigerian.
