It is crystal-clear that people of all ages are interested in it.
This is correct, i don't believe that age matters too much, but the interest of the individual. A 20 year old may not be interested in Bitcoin or modern technological stuffs, but someone that is over 75 may be relentless in understanding all about it and even making contributions and developmental suggestions to it; i believe people of all ages are interested in BTC, and their interests may be affected by things like their level of education & knowledge, standard of living, level of income, etc, all of these things with a lot more will affect their interest first before their age.

One of the leading researchers into the development of photonic chips, which will replace the silicone chips that are nearing the end of their development possibilities, is an 86 year old woman in China. Age is not a disease, and it only slows your intellectual abilities if you give up or lose interest in innovation.

It is true that age will not stop people from investing in bitcoin. Even a child whose parents have become investors or the like is very likely to be involved in this investment if his parents have given him the right understanding of bitcoin.
Now children aged 20 years and over have mastered investing in various aspects, one of which is crypto-related investments, age does not limit one's space to invest, technology has taught anyone to take a role, because the most important thing is one's willingness to invest.

Quote
The productive age of learning something technology is also not limited to educational background, in fact many of us do not have a high education background for us to invest. In fact knowledge and learning will give us a lot of experience, this will be useful.
Technology is not limited to learning, but unfortunately the time frame affects the cycle of the ability to accept technology. People over 50 years old will find it difficult to learn technology, in addition to the sight factor which is no longer normal and too difficult to teach regarding technology, because memory is also another factor for people who are old.
I think the productive age for introducing technology is around 15 to 30 years, they tend to easily understand developing technological systems.

I'm over 80, and it annoys me that all these age surveys shut off at 50 or 60. I can remember the sound of doodlebugs flying over London in WWII and gold sovereigns being used as currency. I also own Bitcoin, and run a node.
I can also understand how Bitcoin (a virtual asset) can be a hard asset, and why it is the only crypto with this virtue. It seems that very few of the younger Bitcoiners can understand this

The seniors I meet don't understand what cryptocurrencies are, or even digital currencies, they just trust the money in their hands or the money in their cards.
The perception of cryptocurrencies also depends on local policies. If it is banned locally, many young people may not know about cryptocurrencies.

It is crystal-clear that people of all ages are interested in it. Yes, it is true that 30 - 40 year old people are more interested in it.

This poll should be restarted again. I expected that there would be many teens into bitcoin, but now it is coming from 20 and up. Since the pandemic, many teens have been interested in bitcoins and cryptocurrency. Also, I am shocked that there are still older ones here; I am sure they are high-ranking and have made many contributions to the forum. I would not be surprised if people aged 60+ are interested in bitcoin. Overall, this is not a one-sided poll, as people of all ages are present, and many more will be interested in bitcoin in the future.

There is no limit in terms of age, we often see nowadays many people of various ages have made investments, but almost generally around 20-50 years, this age is more dominant than 60 years and over, maybe that age is more productive in mastering technology, so make it easier for them to invest using this pattern. There is no specific aspect that limits the age, but the age range is more productive as I stated above.

I'm sure the result will be 31-35, 35-40 years of age will get the maximum votes. The same is being recorded in the thread where the voting is done for average age of bitcoiners. This time we can see a good number of youngsters, which means the freshers/beginners with few years of experience in a job. Because during the pandemic these people got into cryptocurrency and now they make a good contribution.

There are more and more friends engaged in and participating in the crypto world, and the age range is also very large. I passed by a national park one day, and there were several elderly people on the park bench, and I sat next to it to rest. I thought their chat was more about children or what kind of activities a certain supermarket is doing, but what they were talking about was: how hardware wallets are used.

I am currently above 30 years old but when I first entered bitcoin discussions I was like just younger than 25. After 25 I started heavy accumulation and made some money through it. I am suggestion people to learn more and more about Bitcoin, crypto exchanges, blockchain technologies etc. I think people who are like me around early 30s are really lucky. We live good life thanks to Bitcoin in our lives. Long live Bitcoin!

A forum poll might not be accurate enough to reveal the reality, because many people don't answer them and a higher percentage of crypto adopters should participate in order to collect enough data to reach a conclusion.
Despite this, it's well known most crypto enthusiasts are from millennials' generation (1981 – 1996 birth date). Youngest generation isn't too interested in investing money, it seems. At least for now.

DIGITAL 2022: BIG RISE IN CRYPTOCURRENCY OWNERSHIP

I have no professional investigation on this issue, but one thing I can be sure of is that the most authentic data for KYC-certified data should come from registered users of centralized exchanges.

In regards to those threads about age: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoin-in-gen-z-5396058 and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1529447.0;viewResults I wondered how this changed over time and if the assumptions are correct.
I want to point out that as far as I know nobody (including me) is able to see for what option you have voted if you are concerned about your data.
bitcoiners must be mostly people aged 30-40
because if you look at the users on this forum, many have joined from 2015 and below.

They must have been around 20-30 years old at that time.

I wondered how this changed over time ...
Well, we get older over time, that's for sure.   Cheesy

Decades come and go.
When I first heard about and started to use bitcoin I was in my 30s, now I'm way too close to 50s.
So, I'm not sure what to "vote" for.

This wouldn't be accurate. I won't expect a non tech-savvy kid (<18 year old) to use an online forums nowadays. Especially a forums with a 2000s layout and a lot of restriction. I am pretty sure there are plenty of teens that uses and invest into Bitcoin. And they are mostly scattered across other social media platform like Youtube and Instagram. Hell, maybe even TikTok.

But it's a good topic. This poll allows us, "older generation" to see the mindset of the people that we communicate with on a daily basis; assuming you use this forums daily.

I don't really think that are so many women involved with bitcoin or any kind of cryptocurrency. But anyway, I think that is a nice statistic.

because today's women, have thought investing in crypto could be better and give good returns. compared to investing in a bank that has a period for taking profits

As you said by joining this forum, we can all learn many things and have additional income, there are many things we can do, especially participating in the bounty signature campaign, the pay is quite large compared to other bounties. I've been here for about 6 years and it's really fun meeting new people.

Younger people have a lot of interest in technology and investing or creating their own apps.
They learn quickly so it's no surprise these are well represented.

Older people take a long time before decisions to invest in something. They are more wise about money and it's value.

most people are buying it because they think it's going to appreciate in the future or they're and they're not transacting with it in their daily lives they're

holding it for the long term and because of that type of price speculation there are a lot of people, especially day traders who use tools or use what's happening on
futures markets to determine the sentiment of where the price is going to go, everyone, wants to have a crystal ball of what the future price of anything is going to be and futures prices you know the last Friday of every month always volatile because that's when the futures expire and people are basing what's going to happen in the next month on that this particular day so on the short term.

Woah, surprised that you returned to the thread OP after 3 weeks. Thought that this thread will just die out.

We're still not sure about that, OP since not all the new users would stumble upon this forum. There may be those that just bought their Bitcoin and never touched it ever since and never had the thoughts of having discussion with other people regarding Bitcoin. I would have a rough assumption that there are waaaay more new users than we would think or what the poll is saying. During NFT craze, surely there would be also people that had bought Bitcoin regardless of its price.

Over time, the number of Bitcoins since it was first created until now continues to decrease and time will continue, just as our age continues to grow and as we age means our age decreases. So people I assume are on this forum and who have bought Bitcoin on average 30 - 35 and 35 - 45 because they already understand how Bitcoin will develop in the future.
