Many airdrops are scams, and you won't get anything from them. But there are also many airdrops that are legit and provide profits to the participants. Like Trustwallet's airdrop, they are listed at MXC.com and the price is going up sharply. A lot of people are happy with this airdrop

for me personally, the gift of airdrops is not worth the time. on the one hand when we have completed airdrop work, sometimes it is not always paid for with their tokens. I don't see the same airdrop as it did in 2017, airdrops are a waste of time and completely unprofitable.
Yes, and it's different from the airdrop that happened in 2017, because almost the average airdrop at that time produced very good results and even became a very good profit, but at this time it was very different, where the airdrop was impressed like a waste of time.

Definitely, now airdrops are mostly fraud, if the team even pays, you will get 1-3 dollars. Therefore, I don't waste my time, although for many such a small profit brings help to the family budget.

Thats not true. For example check out Ludena Protocol's airdrop. Its one of the most hyped projects in Korea right now, and  they aren't even doing a token sale because they already raised enough money during private sale. Looks like they are doing an airdrop literally as marketing..
Let's just say that the airdrop you mentioned is really not a waste of time, it is only maybe 1% of possible profitable airdrop we have right now. There is only a small percentage of the possibility that you can find a good airdrop, isn't it a waste of time if you will realize it?

It’s right worthy airdrop to choose very hard. Even though mostly airdrop will pay for KYC submitted user's, for such difficulties i stopped to join also in the legit airdrops. You know  5$-10$ coming from airdrops, honestly speaking indirectly you're selling your personal data to submit KYC, we didn’t think about it.

Exactly. There is a very good thread somewhere about this in the same way. Blockchain were having Stellar Airdrop not too long ago giving everyone 25$ . In order to receive the Stellar you had to provide them with your personal information along with your selfie and so. Its really like selling your personal documents to get abused later on.

No matter how much reputed the other site is don't throw your personal information this easily and cheap.

I guess they just have to announce it, so there will be no more confusion in the end.
An airdrop that gives a value of $10 would request for your KYC information, it's a no for me, there's no way I would participate on it.

Even if it gives you $100 should you give them? Lets say it like this: Are your personal information worth $100 or any price tag? (Bigger would obviously raise flags but still point is can you give this that easily and let them do anything them want.

There are not many Airdrops like you said, if we take only 1% of sample which is good and similar like what you said, and the others on average are not like that, so all participants who want to take part in Airdrop need extra research so they can get a lot of benefits.

Sending ethereum to get your tokens that is a scam, don't join that kind of airdrop. I think these days it is waste of time to join airdrop because even there is a legit airdrop the value of the token is low so it is worthless.

I agree no more Grin. Airdrops are not as profitable as it seems. It just sounds good to our ears because you can get coins for free but in reality you are like receiving sh*t which came from heaven lol. Airdrop itself is not the problem, it was a good way of advertising to be fair. The problem is the product (coin) — it is not unique thus lose its demand. It would be more interesting if there is a BTC airdrop Smiley.
But it is impossible, finding an airdrop which paid in bitcoin. In my life since I know cryptocurrency I haven't found there is a project which held an airdrop and they paid in bitcoin as a reward. Most of airdrop will only paid in the token and it is nonse when good project held an airdrop and share their token to the people which only pass some task. Unless signature campaign, there still a lot of project who promote and paid the participant in bitcoin. And we can differentiate the project who held signature campaign and paid in bitcoin with an airdrop who paid the participant with the token. Most of project who paid in bitcoin will have a good result but I haven't found a project who pay in the token and there are successfull to be used by many people.

Airdrops are only worth it for good coins.

For example the Ludena Protocol airdrop, the team is not even doing a public sale because they don't need too.

But they are giving users a chance to win free tokens for doing basic tasks. Literally takes like 5 minutes.

i have joined a lot of air drops and still i dont know am i wasting my time or not! i saw a lot of scams and most of them after ending airdrop time ask for amount of eth or btc or they delay for payment!!! i wonder if there is any good resource as site or channel  for reliable air drops or not?

I started working in the field of cryptocurrencies by collecting some currencies from airdrops. I think that before about a year ago, these airdrops were feasible and often useful, and I got some good currencies because I was relying on reliable friends who follow Tokens projects and do not publish good prices from them. Yes, there are some of these airdrops that were useless, perhaps because the project failed for some reason or because it was fraudulent in the first place, but in return there were good currencies from which I got sums that are good for me as a beginner.
But there is a rule that if the airdrop requested to send Ethereum or any other amount, I would ignore it and consider it a fraud.

Currently there are a lot of good bounty running, so I think you should take the time to make these bounty to make a profit. Airdrops are not bad, but there are too many bullshit airdrop and it will make you waste time with them
But we will wait longer to receive tokens from bounty. Even you need to wait 5-8 months to be able to receive and sell them. With airdrop we will receive the token in just a few days or weeks. Bounty will not be for impatient and lazy people

There was a time when aridrop was profitable in 2017. But not all airdrop was successful that time. Most airdrop was intended to create scams. Many people have made huge money by joining some airdrop. But times have changed, now it is not like before. Now the main purpose of the airdrop that comes is to scam. And if there is a good airdrop, it is difficult to expect more from there. Because a huge number of people join that airdrop. Which reduces the amount of earning. So overall, should not expect more from airdrop now. And good airdrop is also not available. I think the days of airdrop over now.
Many airdrops are scattered every day, but the good thing is that the rewards are still small and the average airdrop from now on is a scam that continues to occur where ordinary people will be fooled by the big rewards and must deposit first, this is the current scamer.

Don't expect too much from the airdrop or bounty, because what you say is true nowadays it has probably changed most of the scamer now.

Not all airdrops are time wasting some are really good and worth participating but on the other hand most are time consuming and totally time wasting .there required alot of work for a very little amount of pennies and the worst path of it is that some dont pay participant at all, even if paid many dont make it to any exchange so basically i prefer bounty campaigns more than airdrops even though i do a few airdrops if they are good enough .

After 2017-2018 I have not seeing any interesting project making good airdrop.
Moreover it seems they are just trying to "scam" people, providing useless token that you can't sell or using... spending good cryptocurrencies or asking people to create account in "new" exchange... etc.

well if you spend resources for airdrop that probably will not pay or give you some cents (like a tips or begging outside of a church) yes definitely airdrop a totally waste of time and they don't worth the time.
I think that interesting project/airdrop nowadays are around 1/1000 ....
Agree with you, 2017 was a great year for airdrops. I have earned more than $ 10k from the airdrops I participated in. Today, airdrops are just a waste of time and they just want to collect participants' personal information to sell.
$10k from airdrop in a year of 2017 ? That was a big amount you earn coming from airdrop.
And for now some airdrop not kind interested to hold but not all airdrop there are some airdrop have a value and worth to hold. And Ill think some airdrop are now waste to hold because of these so many scam happen in crypto. And making a project that would be have no future or not be continue to end and gone early.
