People should ask if KYC is mandatory beforehand. (have been telling this for ages)

I guess they just have to announce it, so there will be no more confusion in the end.
An airdrop that gives a value of $10 would request for your KYC information, it's a no for me, there's no way I would participate on it.

Giving our KYC is only good for a platform that we trust, and that certain platform should be regulated by the authority.
not all of airdrops ask for kyc but yes if i see a airdrop with kyc i dont participate that.airdrop should be with 0 cost+and ask for no personal info .maybe many of them miss understood airdrop project with exchange rules  Grin

token airdrops in 99% of cases is just a waste of time, they often turn out to be scams and ask you to send ethical sums to unlock the airdrop, keep away from these phantom airdrops, however we don't have to do everything grass a bundle, there are legitimate airdrops and I was lucky enough to have participated

i think best way is to join airdrop and see if they ask for small amount of crypto for unlock tokens we do not participate them . as i said airdrops should be fully free and 0 cost.

After 2017-2018 I have not seeing any interesting project making good airdrop.
Moreover it seems they are just trying to "scam" people, providing useless token that you can't sell or using... spending good cryptocurrencies or asking people to create account in "new" exchange... etc.

well if you spend resources for airdrop that probably will not pay or give you some cents (like a tips or begging outside of a church) yes definitely airdrop a totally waste of time and they don't worth the time.
I think that interesting project/airdrop nowadays are around 1/1000 ....
Agree with you, 2017 was a great year for airdrops. I have earned more than $ 10k from the airdrops I participated in. Today, airdrops are just a waste of time and they just want to collect participants' personal information to sell.

I dont think airdrops are a waste of time. For example recently i entered an airdrop for a coin called Ludena Protocol. Basically its a drawing which is cool, you just complete tasks and earn tickets and each winning ticket is worth $10

its a good way to pass the time and who knows the $10 could be worth $100 soon?

I’ve not been involved in air drops for several years now. It has become pointless. A big part does not pay, and if it swears, then very little. A friend recently advised one air drop from Binance. He took part, also did not pay. So I did the right thing, that I did not participate.
The airdrop of binance is very awesome. But it limits the participants, maybe your friend is unlucky and not paid. There are still a lot of good airdrops and if you are hard-pressed to find then you will definitely get a good amount of money from them.

easy work and the value obtained is not large it is an indication of the airdrop. and many people follow the airdrop being part-time, from searching for a more profitable main bounty. but with the development of many bounty scams, airdrops have also been affected. so agree with you that it is not recommended to follow the airdrop. because it's just useless that you will get, because many are scams and will not pay you.

So many fake websites launching fake airdrops just for promoting such scam tokens in my opinion out of 10 airdrops only 1 is legit and all others are fake and crap if you are joining please make sure that you properly checked the background of its project and ask for opinions from other people like in this forum last year I always saw some airdrops and joined but until now no news from this projects.
Well, as far as I can see, out of 100 airdrops, only 1-2 airdrops are legal and can help participants get money. Good airdrops are too rare at the present stage, every cashew project is save budgeting to try to survive the current phase.
It’s right worthy airdrop to choose very hard. Even though mostly airdrop will pay for KYC submitted user's, for such difficulties i stopped to join also in the legit airdrops. You know  5$-10$ coming from airdrops, honestly speaking indirectly you're selling your personal data to submit KYC, we didn’t think about it.

Most of the airdrop we have out there now are mostly scam. Many are just coming up with useless airdrop these days, though we still have some good airdrop. I have participated in some airdrop that have been profitable.

The worse thing about this is that even without joining airdrops we are being fed all kinds of free airdrops we did not ask for. And they are all using smart contracts that make it look like they are worth thousands,,, tricking people into "unlocking" or paying more or whatever, and then the founders make free money. I hate all of these people.

Airdrops really do not waste your time, if you find a good project you will have a big reward. For example, Energi, I know people who own over 50,000 NRG and have been holding for a long time. Eventually they made a lot of money selling it at $ 8 / NRG, even though they got rich after the project. Therefore, it is essential to make money in this market and you have to select potential projects. If you choose without analyzing, you will easily encounter scam projects.
To be honest, there are very few airdrop like that. In 1000 airdrops, there might be an airdrop to make the participants profitable. And that's a very modest ratio, I won't waste time on such airdrops. Joining bounty would be a much smarter option

I think airdrop is not a waste of time at the same time it helps for every users and beginner to make some minimum capital.
the only question is how can we learn the legit airdrop?because out of 10 airdrop now only 1 is legit and sometimes all of 10 are scams.

i hate saying this but that is the real score now, yeah in past about 2 or 3 years ago when they are profitable but now?we can count in fingers out of thousand airdrops are paying.

I think airdrop is not a waste of time at the same time it helps for every users and beginner to make some minimum capital. Platforms or the websites that are giving some airdrops benefits too, if there are a lot of users having visiting their websites it has an additional payment to them at the same time they are paying their visitors by giving some coins. Most of the time they are giving some bitcoin, eth, ripple and more altcoins. Even the coins they gave is just over 0.00001 is good enough to make capital for your future investment. Also, make sure that you are aware about the security of the platforms because today there are a lot of phishing websites.

Now, most of airdrops not paying and scam. And most of airdrop now need to KYC and rewards only $10-$20. I never join airdrops now. Because this is same to send your data to cheap rewards.

KYC is the biggest tool for project owners to back out participants who don't like to share personal information. I would say airdrop tokens are even less than 10$ and in less that that amount they are buying your personal information which you don't know if they will misuse your personal information or not.

not all airdrop required our personal data, only few of them that do this. mostly they just ask task to do before give free token. such as follow or retweet , joining telegram channel , follow facebook and share their update or many easy task. if we doubt, just avoid airdrop that need kyc to received reward, there are many airdrop again.

Well I have benefited alot from airdrop and wouldn't say it was a mistake or a time wasted. One thing I do tell people first know authenticity of what you are doing before doing it, know the authenticity of an airdrop lately an airdrop paif people so huge than anything even more than bounty so I would still say airdrop pays and not time wasting only if you know what you are going for.

Did Cartesi make an airdrop? Why don't I see it, I just saw them doing a bounty at the beginning of 2020 and a gaming competition to get a reward in the last few days
Yes, Cartesi once made an airdrop once, after that they only made contests and competitions in large exchanges, only now all programs created by Cartesi are almost done, for the airdrop link you can see here:
