Airdrop is now very difficult to predict, of many airdrops in circulation, only a few is truly real, the rest is all scam. Very different like airdrop in 2017, at that time the income from the airdrop could rival the income from the bounty, but now most airdrops are rubbish, and only waste time if we participate in them.

Airdrops aren't always waste of time, it depends on how good you are with them, the easiest way if detecting a good Airdrops is to watch the rating on top Airdrops platforms like airdropalert or airdropbob, if it's rated 5 starts it's probably because it's listed on coinmarketcap and it's trading

The presence of a coin in the coinmarketcap rating does not mean that it is good. Here it is important that it is in the TOP 100, and not in last place. But if you have certain skills for working with airdrops, you should continue to participate in them.

Even being in the top 100 of coins ranked by market cap or whatever metric you choose on Coinmarketcap is not a guarantee that a project is 'good', however you consider that. There's no one right way to determine if an airdrop's worth your time, but just looking at whether or not something's trading should not be the only criteria you use.

There's also a sort of limit to how 'good' you can be at picking airdrops to participate in. It's easy to filter out the lowest-quality ones, but success is never guaranteed for any platform, which is where luck comes in.

Most likely everyone now says it's a scam and just time-consuming, but the actual airdrop is still good to do if we are looking for a project that is really good and their community is strong. I am now still following some airdrops that I think are good.

Airdrops right now are totally a waste of time. Some even require you to do a lot of tasks but reward a very small amount to participants. Worse, other project does not even distribute rewards in exchange for the effort the participants undertake. Gone are the days when airdrops are very rewarding. Hopefully, those times will come back as this is the reason why I started my crypto journey before.

You defend Airdrops however all that you did was bring bare figures that are not backed up by any evidence.
I doubt that you are so lucky that it is you who manage to earn money on Airdrops, while the rest spend a lot of time on this while not earning anything.

Airdrops doesn't have sense anymore. I can understand if it's still year of 2016 and 2017 but it's not anymore.
Stop wasting your precious times with those airdrops, they are not really worth it.
2016 and 2017 airdrops are profitable from those years and a lot of legit airdrops. You can participate an airdrop that cost you a little work but its worth it and you'll regret if you missed it. Airdrops nowadays are not paying anymore just a waste of time. @OP just participate in campaigns rather than airdrops.

If you want to participate in an airdrop that surely pays your effort, look for airdrops that have existing developments like stellar.

Joining an airdrop these days with the current situation of the market is hard, legitimate airdrops from scratch are rare.

There are several risks that will you find when you try to join in an airdrop. One is your identity, you know that some task to join with an airdrop are you have to promote the project in all your social media like facebook, twitter and instagram which I think if you have a concern against your anonimity then you will be fool because of an airdrop. Two your effort, indeed you will consider that to finish some task that required is really simple then you will be bored when you have tried a lot of airdrop but you didn't get nothing. Three, you were wrong because you were promoting scam project.

i join a lot of air drops and still i dont know am i wasting my time or not! i saw a lot of scams and most of them after ending airdrop time ask for amount of eth or btc or they delay for payment!!! i wonder is there any good resource as site or channel  for good and reliable air drops or not?

There are still worthy airdrops but are now limited and hard to find. In case there will be availabe, after 2 to 5 hours it is almost full and already closed. Yes there many airdrops that are scam. Some requires you to pay, and then way back 2018 most of the airdrops requires you to donate ETH.
Besides being required to deposit, many currently airdrops require Kyc. I am most lazy about having to do kyc, because it gives our data to them, and it is very dangerous when misused. especially with prizes that are not much, even a lot of scam airdrops, so at this time I no longer do airdrops

I don't know if you ever visited the "dark web" but there are many users who are selling other people information. Those information often include picture of that person, scanned ID (both sides) and other sensitive stuff. That's why it is very dangerous to do KYC to participate in airdrops worth few bucks.

For this current era it is now waste of time. Maybe if your got lucky to have some good airdrops with still got some value then good for you. But for the sake of your time, I suggest to find other thing or ways on how to earn cryptocurrency aside from airdrops. Join bounty with btc paid or sure payment which Im sure will not waste your time. I have been participants of this signature campaign and surely well pays off. There are other good campaign on altcoin too might wanna join too but make sure they are legit projects.
Although many good bounty can bring us a suitable reward but good food always has too many people come to compete, almost every bounty has a limit on the number of participants, if we don't qualify or are late, we can only say goodbye to the project. Airdrops can be a waste of time but it can still benefit us as you say, as long as we are lucky and good luck here can be accumulated by the way we participate in as many airdrop projects, a lot of people consider this an activity they can do in their free time when the task is not complicated, just take the time to get the reward.

for most airdrops, it is a waste of time now. maybe for some airdrops, it's not like that, it's just hard to find the airdrop that really pays. however, if the airdrop has great potential, such as an airdrop from a blockchain or a well-known company, I will take that opportunity. Wasting time or not, it depends on the airdrop you choose.

It was generally a waste of time even in the last two years actually to be fair. I still cannot understand projects who want to waste their time,,, with the current style of airdrops. I think some tokens were done really well with bitcoin holders but the communities now are very different from before!

Airdrops used to be attractive option in the old days when there were limited genuine projects which really wanted to do something on the blockchain. Now a days I believe that many projects provide airdrops to create liquidity in the exchanges and that too very minimal amount of airdrop for something like a million users. I usually stay away.

I'd suggest using some service which pays for posts on some crypto-related forums lol
Seriously tho airdrops are not worth wasting time.
They were a good opportunity for upcoming projects to develop first client base and boost up liquidity.
But now a project could be closed by the time airdrop is done which is totally stupid

I never believed in sites like that. They work transparently and make false judgments, I have participated in a lot of airdrops from their website but as a result, no project has been really successful. And they never send tokens to my wallet
Have same experience here. Participated in several airdrops and none of them payed me anything. I might be just unlucky, so there is another good reason not to waste anything on airdrops: they're most certainly scamming us for data.
Most of the time in order to join the airdrop you have to send your wallet number and do other actions which may include sharing some of your info, this is fd up since they're not paying off in 70% of the time

I've joined few airdrops since the beginning of the year and I've earned 20 to 30$ from two airdrops and they are well rated too, even origin protocol was better, I knew few who earned over 300$ fro this origin protocol airdrops, do not listen to bad reviews or experience
