The number one golden rule is that you should not use the same password with your email address to sign for airdrops. Hackers take advantage of this to gain access to you exchange addresses. You must also look at the use cases of the project if it really worth creating a token. What are the team's experience on the subject mater and is the roadmap achievable withing the time frame?. Any airdrop that is requesting for your seed phrase, mnemonic phrase, private key before you van get token, this is a red alert, close immediately. Any selfdrops are mostly scam or non-tangible project, always avoid them
Not all investments are good or has a positive outcome. Last time i joined an airdrop, but it is not successful, after all the hardships I've been through in the airdrop, but I found it that it was a fake. But it is to late, because I've been joining for how many months, and found out it is fake. I am really really sad about this.
I feel sorry to you mate, we cannot denied how painful was that after been hack. So next time you should careful. We cannot determine which airdrop can make us earned or make us get hacked. So, better to stay way on airdrop tokens no matter insteresting were that.
Airdrops are usually considered as source of reward by new crypto investors and bounty hunters. So many problems exist in today's crypto industry and new regulations are on the way. This process makes it hard to gain more than the old days.
Honestly, I already stopped joining in airdrops. There are lots of unpaying airdrops which may require you a lot of information but you might still end up with nothing. They will promise to pay you a lot which is too good to be true but would leave you hanging and waiting for the reward.

Because you fix the price yourself by buying or selling your airdroped token.
I can not agree if people talk about generalities...Generalities are not a good information...
When I read this topic it seems that airdrops never pay...this is not a good information...
Problems will always come form every where, and I think Airdrop problem is very simple, thats "Value"reward is very low, and beside that, so many phising link and also scam project in airdrop, so, becareful guys when join airdrop.
There are many airdrops and many propromote but not all airdrops that come out are legit and pay with airdrops because scams and what they just want or aim can get victims of bounty hunters to access their wallet and steal their altcoins and funds in their wallet so be aware of them because there is a chance that your website and phishing site is wrong so if you just want to join the airdrops that are coming out or giving you then you have to check and do not as long as you fill up the form if you are uncertain as other airdrops are retrieving the private key or required in the forms they provide if you have encountered such that you should not simply submit or provide your private key to not steal or access that your wallet is someone else.
Until now few airdrops are legit and it is hard to find one, I stopped joining airdrops since the market go down because most of them were scam they just only want to get our information or our private keys, they just want to hack it.
actually I am not interested in airdrop and until now I am not looking for free coins from Airdrop, which I am looking for is definitely like looking for a pretty good bounty project, so that the reward can cover daily expenses
Airdrops program is currently not as profitable as it was in 2017. Because at that time the price of bitcoin was reaching its peak, all bounties realized their payments, the price of coins did not fall when entering the exchanger, so the number of tokens obtained from the airdrops program was very valuable.now the airdrops program is increasingly disliked by bounty hunters because the numbers are small and sometimes worthless.

I was actually lucky to have gotten Airdrops that were really valuable but this is less than 2% of the entire participation which means it is a huge task to find reasonable ones and obviously require a lot of work, the majority that eventually found themselves on the exchange are not valuable enough to even pay of exchange withdrawal or trade fees and therefore they become so valueless and useless

then some of airdrop are to freez your system immediately which you can't have any access to control your system. i have been hack by airdrop and they mad away all my token just a simple click.

The Crypto community has almost drifted completely away from airdrops. I for instance, last participated in an airdrop around May 2018. It is almost a year already and I don't see myself going back to it.sorry i recent found out that most of the airdrop which we are participating are fake.
how could you work for airdrop at last they paid you and it worth's nothing or it has not been listed on exchange, even it is listed the amount of token given to you can't even cover the gas fee. just take a look of that, is it good?

I agree with you, I used to do a lot of airdrops too, and about 10-15 percent of all I completed airdrops paid me tokens and 1-2% of them was traded on the exchanges, but earlier you could earn a lot on airdrops, but now you need huge referral network for this.
I'm not surprised tbh, there are so many airdrops every damn day and the sad is most of them are not a good airdrop. Once you received the airdrop token, you can't sell the token, because the token is not listed on any exchanges, even if it got listed, it will only on dex exchange.If it comes for free, then I would not trust it, gone are the days where it will have a value.

Airdrops are now a shadow of itself. It used to be more meaningful in 2017 and early 2018. I will humble advice anyone participating in airdrops to duly verify the project or rather indulge in trading coins airdrop only to avoid waste of effort

The fact about airdrop is they are more like bounties now because airdrops and bounties depends entirely on luck ,some will be listed as 100$ worth of airdrop and when you participate and get paid it will never be listed at that price
I even do not know why fake coins offer airdrop? Airdrop means offering coins for free. In that case, they cannot collect money. So why they offer airdrop? I have participated in many airdrops. I have not checked that they have given me my claimed awards. In many cases, I have forgotten for which projects I have signed up for airdrops. But to be honest, I have got some airdrop coins, but they are not listed on any exchanges. Maybe there are many fake projects offering airdrop campaigns. And it maybe they are doing so for various motives.
That's because the reward from the bounty is very small, and together with the market that is falling, so the estimated reward is obtained with the exchange rate in the market is very low, while we have done the Kyc there. my advice, stop airdrop, and start with the bounty again.
there are some potentially good airdrops. airdrop xlm from the blockchain is one of them. it's of little value either from airdrop or bounty campaigns. but if we hold assets from us selling bounty prizes, we can benefit if the market increases. so far I always do that. sell tokens from bounty and airdrop and store them in eth or bitcoin.
