Basically, bounties are designed to pay better than airdrops.
You're right, the mechanism is very well designed as a promotion rather than the same like airdrop. Sometime airdrop was just also designed as a promotion but this is only following and reposting tasks. Bounty is always related with the promotion that already done by the team to increase the engagement and followers in the market. So bounty was paying better than airdrop but sometime this can be a scam like airdrop as well if the dev was fooling the participants.
Legit airdrop has very strict requirements.

Basically, bounties are designed to pay better than airdrops. But recently, some of the bounties that I participated in have made payments that is very small that makes me wonder if bounties are now modified airdrops. Bounties involves more tasks while airdrops are simpler. Ideally, participating in bounties should fetch more money than airdrops, but my recent experience makes me wonder what bounties are turning to, are airdrops now better? I have also observed that there is increasing number of scam bounties. Once in a while you could meet bounties that pay well. I think bounty managers should look into ways to attract worthwhile projects that pay bounty hunters bounty reward not like airdrops.

Can you make more money participating in bounties or airdrops?
I am getting good payment from the signature campaign that I am wearing right now. In my opinion, as long as we can have an exact reward, it is very worthy to follow. It may be different with the bounty that is paid with their own token, in which the reward is still not clear, based on stakes, or it is still even not sure that the tokens will be listed and worthy or not later.

I made the most money doing airdops so far, like the one from Uniswap
I heard about this, many people can earn very high rewards from certain airdrops. But, this is too rare to find the worthy rewards for airdrop, isn't it?

Many of those did not pay out in the end and one even attempted to bait me into their phishing site through email. Happy to hear that you still earned back then though, but surely it is not efficient as it was back then. You might be better off in non-crypto related stuffs to earn more now.
In the long term, it is not something you could make "living of".

Talking about airdrop nowadays for me it's hard to trust and earn through airdrop cause as we know that many scam sites catch your attention to participate with them but at the end of the day, they will leave without any further notice.  And in bounty campaigns yes you can earn money by joining bounty campaign which is the tweeter, youtube and others but what they are telling is that you need to find a good one so that you can earn. But if you need good income for sure getting a job is more effective.

Can you make more money participating in bounties or airdrops? I made the most money doing airdops so far, like the one from Uniswap, but long term, I think bounties like the one from candlelabsdotorg will pay off better. What do you think? Which of these methods of earning free crypto should I pursue? The candle labs bounty program involves following them on social media and beta testing their DEX, which is quite easy. Sometimes the tasks involved to receive airdrops, like the one coming up from Metamask, are actually more complicated and costly than bounties.

Bitcointalk bounty programs are not as lucrative as they used to be.
Form type airdrops are a waste of time, most of them are scams anyway.
For airdrops, you can try your luck for "use to earn" style airdrops. Join testnets and use platforms that don't yet have tokens...
(You will have to afford to pay a transaction fee for this.)

The possibility of earning from airdrops is quite slim, considering the fact that most projects turn out to be unsuccessful. Bounties are not very lucrative, but when you're fortunate to have a good bounty manager, it's possible to earn a decent amount. The best approach to earning in the forum is obviously by rendering services and participating in signatures that pay in bitcoin or stable coins.

There is not a lot of money in either of those two anymore, however if I were to guess even if airdrops may seem like the best choice to some, I have read several complains against them as users never receive the payment they were offered.

Also it is up to discussion if we can call airdrops that way when in many cases you need to actually fulfill some task to receive the airdrop, which makes it way more similar to a bounty to an airdrop if you ask me.

Airdrops before are way too different from the airdrops that exist today. I earned a good amount of funds from airdrops before that I used for my long-term investments. Old airdrops won't require you a lot of tasks that will risk your personal details or social media accounts. You just have to register and wait for the rewards and they pay with good values of altcoins. The airdrops that we have these days will ask you to do too many tasks but will only pay you trash coins.

I think that in most cases airdrops are not really worth to participate. Of course the one that you have mentioned from Uniswap was a whole different story but that was also not a "normal" airdrop i would say because they gave away tokens to everyone that used their platform before and i know that some people got a huge amount of money that way which is absolutely crazy. The reason why that airdrop had so much value for the individual was, that no one knew that a airdrop was coming otherwise thousands and thousands of airdrop hunters would have also participated and would have brought the token price down immediately after the distribution of the tokens.
In general i think you can make more money with bounty campaigns, even though it is hard to find a good one.

I think both of them are a waste of your time honestly, i can only advice you to make better use of your time in the forum and on the network, Airdrops were quite popular before, and then they could give you something, though little, but now many of them are scams that more or less want to steal your personal data and info for little or nothing in the end.

Bounties are quite similar and one of the major cause of spam in this forum, mind you that there is nothing long term about bounties, quite a lot of them do not pay and if you are active here you'd see their participants always complaining of breach of contract (no payment in the end), so you'd also be wasting your time if you take up bounties as something you want to do. What should you do? Learn about Bitcoin, that is the advice every reputable user would give you in this forum, learning about Bitcoin will help you to earn in the long run, or if you are really skilled in something, you could advertise it and see if users will be interested.

Just a correction, doing bounty and airdrops is not free they will give you set of task to advertise their project and they will give you “free” tokens wherein fact those are payments. Nowadays there is no such thing as free even the faucets, they will ask you to watch a lot of ads for a small amount.

If you want to earn bigger, you need to offer something maybe selling or providing service to others.

Also depends on how much privacy you are willing to trade off.  I would say you’re better off going with bounties as the airdrops over the years are requiring more and more info, some even request or require the rather invasive KYC which seems quite a bit much.
Why waste time on shitcoin bounties where you can earn bitcoin from signature campaigns. I really dont get the point of the craze behind Bounties or Airdrops in this generation where altcoins are no longer the get-rich-quick thing that they had started as.

Besides giving your KYC to something like an anonymous group preparing a shady bounty only means getting your email spammed with malicious links and possible identity theft. What you get in return is a bunch of coins that will be of zero value in the coming few months when you are ready to sell them.

Probably the only obstacle I can confirm here is having a high ranked account, but we all start from zero and grow on it - so every newbie needs to go through the grind. If you have skills there are freelancing opportunities too.

You don't limit yourself to only 2 methods, there are several free crypto programs out there with lighter jobs and guaranteed payments on freelancer sites like https://www.reddit.com/r/beermoney/. Or you can rely on luck to get daily crypto like contests, sweepstakes etc via twitter.

Both airdrops and bounties are something anyone should avoid doing round the clock because its so time wasting, only three bounty managers make sense in this forum and all the rest are crap bounty managers with crappy projects, if you want a positive result from bounties its better to join those ones from bounty managers using escrow, for example Julerz12 and Brainboss.
I have heard a lot of horror stories about bounties and that's why I asked. The only one I ever did, Candle Chain, payed out 25k CNDL and didn't require KYC. I'm hearing that other bounty programs either don't pay out at the end or require KYC before you can claim your rewards. Some people have been waiting years to receive their bounties and never got them. They essentially worked for free and got scammed. I would agree 100% with the other poster that said to learn how to do something like blogs to make money but at the same time, I did get a lot of money from some airdrops in the past, like 1inch, so I think there is an opportunity there. For example, if I lived in Turkey, just one 1inch type airdrop per year would be enough money to cover my living expenses, so I do think it is worth the effort.

It's caused by the legit developers who has been doing airdrop didn't wanna their tokens being taken by so many bots that used by some people to get more tokens for free. The strict requirements for the airdrop was a must these days. People do know how airdrop was playing on and the only thing that can be done is creating various requirements to be eligible for the airdrop. I guess if you are joining on various airdrop and these airdrops had different requrements.
that makes it become even more complicated than bounties but getting a real job is the best way. You can at least go to the mcd

This time, joining bounties and airdrops won't let you earn good amount. Why not do other things like selling, trading, investing and many more that will let you earn good money. During the time I joined airdrops and bounties, I earn more money in bounties than airdrops. I earn about $2 - $10 per airdrop where in bounties I earn a total of $129 (duration - about 2 - 3 months). As of now, I don't think I can earn an amount like that and to tell you honestly, I know a friend who joined a bounty campaign then after the bounty ends he only earn around $18 - $20 for about 4 - 7 weeks. Would you still join bounties?.

I made the most money doing airdops so far.
I checked your profile and you have registered in this forum since 2018, that should be about 4yrs. In the OP, you also acknowledged that you made the most money doing airdrop.
It is therefore true that you are in the position to give advice to newbies who wish to toe your lane. You are experienced already, you need to be advising and not seeking for one.
Besides, there is no rule that is stopping you from doing both.

Goodluck.

That is what a litmus paper is. A person who participates only in bounties and airdrops, and surprisingly receives a good income in our time, wants to advance only along this line. From here we see his rank, although if he wanted to, he could have had much more a long time ago. This is standard behavior for a bounty hunter.

Also depends on how much privacy you are willing to trade off.  I would say you’re better off going with bounties as the airdrops over the years are requiring more and more info, some even request or require the rather invasive KYC which seems quite a bit much.

If we talk about KYC, then I am sure that such old-timers with 5 years of experience or more, who have experience in participating in bounties, simply buy other people's documents on other forums. Today this service is very cheap. They don't care about moral issues.
