Although the bitcoin double scheme very old scam method, but it still new for newbies whoever just entering on bitcoin lately. Surprisingly I have been adding such as telegram groups, I just report them and leave group or channel. Even though I hadn't made a post on the forum, but I have noticed many such threads. Yes, we need to create more awareness, so at least forum users would realize about that scam method and they could save their valuable assets. I have been reporting bitcoin doubler threads with referral links if found. Everyone should do the same IMO.

Scammers are everywhere, they are aware of everything that might be ask so they able to prepare something to trap you
up in order for you to believe.

Good in the sense that they've already taking things in advance, knowing that they can fake things up and make you believe
that the business are really exist as testimonies from fake members are all written perfectly.

Lately I have been seen this kind of scams in YouTube adds relating to Ethereum.

Scam like send 10ETH and we send back 100ETH.
Send 100ETH and we sent back 1000ETH +10%.
And so on…
Always 10x gains. I think someone who as that amount of tokens should know best, but we never know.

Whenever I saw this, I try to report it to YouTube, but the options are few.
Sometimes I can downvote, but other times that option do not appear. What I do is to flag it as inappropriate.
Don't know if this is the right option to follow, but its the only one that YouTube provides.

On the other hand, If you the case is a yield farm, staking or lending feature, 100% profit gain within 24hrs is a crappy scam. It takes several months to gain 100% of your profit if you compound it from the start.

Not only Bitcoin, but Ethereum and other TOP tokens have such scam versions that duplicate official pages, where they promise to double your assrts or get high rewards for simple tasks, they wrote that it is a unique opportunity and it is a great chance and only for you because you are do lucky, more lucky than others. And lots of people on emotions do not try to check the information, for example to ask in official groups wheather it is true or false information, in Discord official groups wheather some airdrop or campaign is going on. In crypto world and with finance it is better to make deep analysis before acting. It may safe assets with a high guarantee.

All these fake testimonies are done to showcase the authenticity of their dastardly act whereas they are fake thus a newbie will easily fall for it, honestly in some cases it may be absolutely hard to convince some newbies that all these act of money doubling are fake until they fall victim of the scam before they will agreed that is fake. honestly scammers had lately been using all forms of tricks via social media to scam investors even YouTube is not exempted, the bottom line is to continue to create awareness about those act of fraudulent activities to the notice of the forum members.

if there is new on here that will be telegram . now they add telegram group to show that they are credible but before they are simply a website that offers to double your btc are you send it .

There are always people who are stolen money from these scam no matter how we warn them seriously. That's why those scamming types are always existed and evolved to new different form. As a very careful investor, I can say that I have never suffered any loss from these scam. It is quite easy to spot a fraudulent model.

I think that people who are stolen money will become more wise in this field because some of them refuse to listen to others. It is the best for them to learn by themselves

When anything gets famous there are certain elements which always try to defame its image just by scamming new people of that particular product in order to gain their profits and same is the case with Bitcoin.Many scammers try new ways of fooling people everyday like getting access of wallets and draining whole coins from them or asking people to deposit btc over a particular address and once deposit you cannot have contact or trace them.This is not a new thing and early participants of the market know this and always try to ignore or report such kinds if malicious groups or threads in this forum.The scam which OP mentioned clearly state doubling your bitcoins within 24 hours which clearly states the impact which they are trying to make over general public by fooling them as they will not show any proof of sources of such gains so just be practical and keep on moving without getting into such bait traps if you don't want to loose your funds.

I don't trust any bitcoin double because I have a bad experience with that in the past. If that comes to the double, you need to be careful and never try to invest with them because they will run out anytime. If you can hold your bitcoin, you don't need any investment type because holding bitcoin will be the best investment you can have.

In the first place, come to think of it, they have no possible way to gain profit from this but to just simply scam the investor, I had people on my messenger offering me this kind of investment scam wherein if I drop more BTC, I'll double the amount I gave the first time, not the person you'd want to talk to because I don't get scammed so easily and you guys really have to do your research before making a decision, because it's either you'll gain or you will simply lose everything.

The best thing you can do against them is to report the topics stating that they are spamming on the forum. I noticed such posts today as well. I do not report many myself so sometimes when I saw these kinds of posts, I just ignore them. But maybe we all should report such topics before moving on to the next tab.

Our initial response when encountering these kinds of posts would be to ignore them. Well, at least for us who knows how to spot a scam or a 'too good to be true' kind of project. However, we may be safe but others will possibly not especially if they are ignorant. So the best thing we could do to help those possible victims is to report this kind of schemes as soon as we saw them. And alerting others about it could be of great help.

But, as much as possible, we should just redirect our paths away from these. Upon reading the first line in the OP which is about doubling your bitcoin, that sounds shady to me already. After all, if it's too good to be true, it probably is.
