doublers had been around since time, it hasn't yet failed especially if promoted to newbies on social media sites like facebook. there are still people who want easy money, it will really make users send their BTC expecting to be doubled. the pandemic is driving people to scam. shamelessly dong it on facebook with real accounts and when busted, they are the ones going to report you.
I've been avoiding these scams. they always try to steal my coins from me. Every time I would say: Oh, thanks. But I don't have any bitcoin 
To be frank I think now is the time for many people to be careful of their Bitcoin and how they go about investing it, because as Bitcoin grows and become more valuable, the more the number of scammers will keep increasing, while they keep using every possible strategy to scam people, and most of the times, their normal way is through promising their potential victims high returns with little capital; it takes someone who isn't greedy to be free from all these scammers. Also, telegram which has made it easy to communicate with people from different countries, scammers are now leveraging it to carry out their scams, thus once you find yourself in a new group, do well to report it and exit as soon as possible. In addition, not only on telegram, once you come across all these sort of Bitcoin investments be it on Twitter etc, just overlook them.
Scamming is rampant now that is why SEC and the government supporting campaign to prevent this activity succeed but very unfortunate that some people become a victim despite those warnings send online, in social media, news, and even from friends. I don't see any person to be blamed for this but just themselves. Their greedy soul is so much driving them to get crazy thinking about double and any Ponzi scheme surrounds us.
This isn't a new type of scam, it's likely the oldest Bitcoin scam, and it works because people don't think about Bitcoin as money. I'm sure if you offered people to double their dollars, no one would send you any, everyone would understand that it's impossible, so we don't see any "dollar doublers" around, but if people view Bitcoin as some sort of digital tulip for getting rich quick, then it's understandable how they can think that someone will "double" their coins. Or maybe some complete beginners don't even know how Bitcoin works, and they think that new bitcoins are created by doubling.
That's what I thought so too, the only thing that they have changed is the part where you do not have to deposit anything to withdraw anything. I would like to refute the part that this not happen in a fiat standpoint, this type of thing is prevalent in fiat or anything, as a scammer you just need to be creative to pull it off, in my country, it is a networking scam that needs you to invest your money and they will double it in a months time and there is also that game scam in Runescape where they really double your money at the start where the amount is so small that would hook them to do more gold in the next transaction and then you will do so because you trust the person and they will scam you then and there.
These reports really destroy the image and reputation of bitcoin in the public.
People are getting scared to invest on it because all they know is that bitcoin is a scam and not legit.
We need to report all those scams so that we can somehow help those newbies to become aware and prepared when they encountered that kind of schemes. Bitcoin is never a scam, don't just focus on an easy money, don't be fooled by a free bitcoin giveaway or bitcoin multiplier that you can see online because no one will give you bitcoin for free.

This is not new though, doubler has been in the space for many years. And now that the price of bitcoin has peak to its all time high of $40k, these scammers are also going to pop up like mushrooms in the space. You just have to look at the Scam Accusationsboard to see how many bitcoin doubler have been reported by several scam busters here in our community (not to count fake and phishing site and scam projects).

This is real. my friend is stuck in that mode because he wants to get an instant profit. This kind of HYIP had been circulating not only in the cryptocurrency industry, so this isn't new at all. Testimonial of this kind of scheme is always staged. Other scam companies even buy cars and house and lots for their supposed "role model" just to show how generous and legitimate their program is. They will try hard to captivate and trigger the person's greed and they will approach any industry just to pull out a scam. The best thing to do is just ignore them and warn the people around us about this kind of scheme. And the best shield is not to be greedy.

Bitcoin doublers have existed for a very long time but it is always good to remind especially those that are relatively new to the market that such scams exists, people need to use their common sense, if something sounds to good to be true then you know it has to be a scam, not even the best traders in the world can get those kind of results and even if we assume there are people that could do that, do you think they are going to create a bitcoin doubler when they can double their own money and then become rich in the process? You just imagine investors hoping to make all profit and gain at same time. Greed is the problem. You expect money to fall to a wallet within 24hours? That is not possible thing to happen at all. Scammers know investors are greedy and they trapping people with juicy things. You want to catch animal, you try to provide the things to bring it closer, this is how it happens. I don't put investment and hope for quick return because investment is gradual process. Don't expect ponzi to be good all the time

I saw at least five topics in the past 24h. I guess the scammers are counting on people's greed, combined with the $30k Bitcoin.
Of course, all doublers and similar sites are 10000% SCAM! Nobody could legitimately double your money in 24h.
In addition if you see post on telegram about users giving testimony please do not fall for it. They are the same set of scammers that comment so as to get people believe and scam them. I have recently witnessed this in a project call pools. They created a scam website call poolzreward and get numerous people scammed by method the op has described. If you don't know what to invest in it is better you keep your money rather than losing it to scammers. More ways to steal people funds are rising everyday
OMG - double in 24h. If they use it on their own with only 1 Satoshi investment then they would have more than 21m BTC in 51 days. So there doesn't exist enough bitcoin that 1 investor with 1 Satoshi property can do this for 2 months. That shows the idiocy and shows that all bots or similar services with high promises are scams. A good bot makes the programmer rich and he wouldn't need any third party investors. Even if they promise to you 15% per month then you would own 21m bitcoin after 10 years if you start with 1BTC.
Daily people ask me to support them to trace the lost BTC from those scammers until cash out at an exchange. Tracing isn't working always and even then you can have bad luck that the jurisdiction of the exchange or of the scammer isn't supporting your jurisdiction. So better stay away in the first place.
