Yeah.  I made certain to ask when they'd ship and what they had in stock.

They told me it took 24 hours for the payment via AliExpress then they'd instantly ship.

They did as they promised.

Obviously your mileage may vary!

Due diligence is required!

Pay by AliPay. Not bitcoin, Western Union, or Moneygram!
Use escrow (automatic if you used AliPay)

Talk to a human via the AliExpress chat system.

Ordered my 230 Gh/s Avalon box from the real SinoSigma.
Lots of imitators.  Send a message to the real SinoSigma to make sure you're dealing with who you think you are.

Very happy.  Would do it again. Have been happily mining away at 230 Gh/s within minutes of opening the box.  Will list on eBay soon... 1.5 btc later.

I did a write-up of my AliExpress experience here on the forum.  You can find and read if it you're interested.

Do your maths.

In China the 55nm Avalon chips cost 4USD each.

You need 160 of them in a 200G machine

How can they sell it for 450 USD?

it's a scam at that price.

last antminer ordered Jan 20 12am delivered Jan 29 $2500 CAD
the shipping was included but it had one older board and a newer one but is working.

The shipping is fast with FedEx, but 2 I ordered where sent by DHL and it was just over a week.

Do not buy SD cards there I got a page that showed both front and back pictures and still they sent fakes
Transcend, the shipping was less than a month. 24 days. free shipping.
Good thing I PDF printed the page. As they don't seem to track days, etc.

You can get them online chat, with real persons.

I got 4 miners all from them, plus one fake. Or at least it must be for 1/2 price again I printed the page.
 showing FedEx shipping:
Delivery Time: 3-7 Days
Processing Time: 1 Days
that was 9 days ago, finally seller answer's. He gave me a HK tracking and it's real slow so I've heard.

I am a frequent buyer of aliexpress and I must say that there was only two times that I didn't receive my order as described and I got a full refund on both of them (on one of them I actually kept the product as well).

That being said I have learned to do my research when buying from aliexpress and read other buyers feedback and also check out the sellers overall feedback score.

That will help you decide if to buy a product or not.

EDIT: Also check out the seller's store and profile.

But yeah the miners on there (the cheap ones) are fake listings.
Q
There are some real miner listings but they are more expensive than buying it from the manufacturer.

The only ones worth buying are the cheap ones which are all scams, the sellers with good feedback and delivers price their miners way higher than ant miner price here on top of expensive shipping, so there is really no point.

don't bother, aliexpress is a waste of time.

All the miners listed with low prices are scams, seller will give you fake china post tracking #, hoping you don't file claim/chargeback within the 30 days before aliexperess give them fund.

The legit sellers sell them way overpriced.

No free lunch.

Thanks, you saved me a lot of time. Wish I had read this a week ago, thank god I didn't order anything but did spend a lot of time before deciding it was probably too fishy...

These guys (www.sinosigma.com) are fake too i think all SINOSIGMA related companies are fake, first thing is there isn't any company in china or wherever named sinosigma, there is "Sigma group limited":

website www.sinosigma.com in register -> "Guang Zhou Sigma Autocontrol Technology LTD" NOT sinosigma

They say to have offices in uk but when i asked if they can send to their offices the asics and i will pay and pickup there they refuse it, meanwhile i try to see their contacts in the website not even the phone number of uk offices...

website www.sinosigma.net in register -> "Sigma Group Limited" not Sinosigma

Their site goes directly to alibaba, and if you check the contacts on the domain it's a hotmail email address, and it seems the same person who replied to you, register the domain, also there aren't any .cn websites of sinosigma...

Think they are all fakes, they are putting stickers on others hardware and selling it or scamming ppl.

Guilty as charged. I did briefly suggest there was one good seller. Then I was reminded rather hotly that some of their shipments had disappeared for two days in France then turned up replaced by bottles of water.

In future, I'm sticking with Unicron or that Essex girl, Rebecca.

Some of their stuff looks too good to be true. The rest is as overpriced as everywhere else.

Very few of the sellers have any feedback.

What could go wrong if I ordered this?

I know there's a recent thread that turned out to be about aliexpress, but I'd like to invite more views, please.

Some on this forum go further than me and suggest there exists at least one proper seller on AliExpress.

Judging by the number of relatives and friends of friends that come to me with tales of woe about AliExpress I might suggest the forum posters are exaggerating the numbers somewhat.  Cheesy

If you want to get your money back it is at least 60 days and a scam seller is able to alter how much you can reclaim.  Hence the chances of getting all your money back are slim to non-existent.

(I stand to be corrected as to how one gets all ones money back.  I've not managed it yet when asked to help by numerous people.)

thanks eveyone for the input.

I heard that the guy in the op has been removed from aliexpress for improper trading

What I will say is that I've bought over 50 items (boards, circuits, sensors, etc.) from aliexpress in the last year and the items have always arrived here (eventually...shipping is slow as hell) and the items all worked.

Having said that, I've bought over 50 items...and never spent more than $15 on a single item.  Do I trust them for cheap sensors, breakouts and boards?  Yes.  Would I buy a Miner from them?  Not a chance in hell.

I think this is how I would roll now with aliexpress, it's a bit safe, but I'm mean anyway.

Let's just hope sushi comes back from China with something hot.
