previously sorry for your loss at that time, but BTW in the last three months to be precise after your loss in project investment, has your finances recovered? I think you still have the opportunity to make up for the losses you experienced at that time by reinvesting using ETH or BTC. the market is starting to recover slowly, you can use this opportunity to make a profit.

Don't be sad, I also lost a lot of money on projects in 2018 and 2019. I still got into debt and the way I got over it was to find a job and try not to FOMO. Work hard, learn the market well, and when buying crypto buy a little don't put it all in one basket. You should choose good cryptocurrencies and be patient after you have purchased them at a price that you think are reasonable. That is my sincere advice.

That kind of optimism is what's making many people stay in crypto despite all these years of hits and losses, the years of trial and error. Many of the people I know who were crypto investors 2-3 years ago are no longer active in cryptocurrency. Many come and much more get out empty handed. But there are more that are hard workers, has the patience and is willing to do more so that they will be able to increase their investments and eventually get to the moon. All is not lost.
It is an arduous process. No one can fail forever or win forever. 'Hold the moon' and 'hold to die' are phrases that have been loved by the community for their cryptocurrencies and they have lost all they have. I think the best way is to have knowledge and buy and sell wisely. Try not to lose too much. It is the people who continue to hold their cryptocurrencies even when they fall in price that reduce their circulation in the market.

I used to have 14 ethereum but I got caught in the web of FOMO and I lost over 10 ethereum because the project I invested the ethereum on have dropped marginally, is this the end of the road for me? Or I still have hope? How can I recover?

The most important thing is to stop listening to idiots. Who don't know shit about investing. Take a piece of paper and write there why the coin will grow. Or it'll fall. Be honest, write down the reasons there. And then go to a random man on the street and tell him what you think. Do that to 20 or 30 people. If more than half of them tell you yes, then the arguments are strong and mathematically you'll win. Even better, think about the arguments and send me personal messages. I keep all my money in USDT, only sometimes I'm pampered with trading robots. Not one more buck I fucked up because I was careful. And I suggest you be careful.

I don't understand why invest in coin with almost all your eth.. You should have diversify. No matter how much I belive in a project, I dont throw in a I hot. Also you didnt do a thorough search on the project before going into it. It's such a huge mistake you made friend. Investing in coins need caution. Don't have to buy coins just cos you want to buy or cos of hype/fomo. Please always do your research on projects... So sad! And sorry for your loss. Be careful next time.

as I do, panic buying when I see an attractive token or coin for investment, and when the price goes down I panic and don't want to lose much, I end up selling cheap, and of course I lose a lot of money because of panic selling, maybe your story is a little like me.

This is the mistake, which is selling at a cheap price, so if you don't get a return on your investment, then selling at a cheap price is not a good idea at all, If this token doesn't make a profit, then you need to hold it until the appropriate time to sell it, Also, there is another lesson we must learn from what the OP did, we must invest in what we would like to lose and not the largest percentage of our tokens.

be careful when you spend your money for investing some crypto project. you must know that if you want to jump into crypto world, than you must face the risk. getting scam is one of it. there are so many traps that have been prepared by scammer. you do still have hope. if you want to recover you should learn about another way to gain some profit from the rest of your ETH, like trading. be careful with your money in the future. choose the project wisely.

As long as you have confidence in this market, I believe you will profit from it. Try to research carefully before investing, choosing the top projects in this market is also a good idea. You will never be afraid of them becoming scams like the projects you took fomo before

Find other ways to recover like promoting promising projects or buying Bitcoin when market is in red, I don't think you are up for taking risks right now, this loss will bring instability to your head and for months it will keep messing with your head

I think the right thing to do now is to ask op how the investment is doing now that etheruem is increasing and doing good with better prospect. I guess it should be close to success story now except the project was a scam from the beginning.

Unless the project was designed only to scam people then there's nothing that OP can expect, if that the case he needed to decide
while there's still value with his investments he needs to cut it out and try some luck finding the right coin to invest his remaining
capital, it's how he will manage to learned from his passed mistakes and how he will manage to be more careful now picking the right
project to invest,.

There is nothing to recover from, because from what I read, the project is still active and the team are carrying out their responsibility effectively. You only need to learn from this experience and only invest what you're willing to loose. I don't advise anyone to invest in new projects because there's higher risk. Hopefully, the value of the tokens would bounce back and you'll have nothing to recover from.

The project you invested in, is it a project or a ponzi scheme as we have loads of projects right now claiming to be blockchain driven projects and they are in the business of misleading people. Investing ethereum is siply buying and holding ethereum and no other way except for mining. If these are not the ways in which you invested in ethereum then i will say you start all over again.

For the fact that the project is still existing, all hope is not lost. I remember reading a tweet where a guy was regretting investing  in Bitcoin when the value was about $3 and the value dropped to less than a dollar. I'm certain if that guy had held that amount of Bitcoin till date, he could have been one of the richest persons. You still have access to the tokens and the value could change tomorrow, and you'll be glad you did invest in that project.

I believe that everyone here is at a loss when investing in the market, so never be discouraged. Please continue to try to invest in this market and learn from your own experiences. I used to lose more than $ 10k but still persevere and continue to invest in it, now I have regained that loss and made a profit.

that is such a great story to hear. i think the beauty about mistakes is that u can turn them into lessons. how did u recover so well. any tips would be greatly appreciated?

It would be somewhat connected but talking on which project he had invested then it all varies into thats project potential. The market now is hyping up and we know that majority of coins are on gains but
we know that majority of dead coins doesnt revive this is why its really hard to recover once you had lost your funds into supporting a shit coin and this is why we should really be smart and dont easily believe on someone calls or shills of a coin or investing on a project where its still on ICO state or IEO. You wouldnt know on what would happen next even if they do look good but probability
of failure is pretty high.
