i rather go with directbet then seals, i heard too many stories where the same people were sitting on the same table, etc cheating.

Thats called Colluding. Yes that happens a lot on Seals. If you ever feel someone is colluding, then you should email support.
The bad part is that they won't confirm if collusion was actually happening, and that makes it worthless to report, as firstly, you do not get any refund if it was happening. You don't even know if they were banned for colluding, as more players mean more rake for seals, and Seals freezes their accounts and keeps their balance to themselves. So its a win-win for Seals Either way, without any results guaranteed.

i'd be surprised if that were the case with swc. i'd like to think they give back some funds to players that were colluded against. i know for a fact that pokerstars does it's happened to me twice in the past.

so about swc do you know this as fact?

how do i know which ones are legit. like how do i know they don't have software where inside user's can see my cards.

i play right now on betcoin, and nitrogen because they have reputable sports books that make a ton of money and wouldn't want to risk that over a poker scandal.

obviously sealswithclubs is fine. enough said there.

but then all these new ones coming up. how can i i know if it's safe to deposit my btc in into them?

Just wait till an established offline casino comes out with an e-version.
Until then, you are just taking shots in the dark. Smiley

uh... wouldnt a offline casino just be consider a regular las vegas casino. i dont get what you mean off-line.

its pretty obvious, anything offline would be not using a source of internet.

if you trust sealswithclubs then youre already getting screwed. theres more collusion on there than anything.

Agreed. Screw them, and screw B Micon for not doing anything to slow down the collusion. If you use that site/app you are either a cheater or are being cheated, there is no middle ground there.

Technically it is possible people to see your cards if there is such software installed on the server.
But I don't think that anyone is doing this because it is not worth it. It is kind of childish.

That being said - i admit that i could be potentially underestimating the reputation and trust that sealswithclubs have at the moment. I think when i first tested them (2 years ago or so) - software and everything looked so bad that i played for a couple of days and did not bother since.

One's gotta take the chance, bite the bullet and deposit... That's the only way to be sure. And always withdraw when you don't need it anymore!

You cannot verify that which one is a legit site. To be more secure you can just play on trusted sites and you are already doing that.
The problem of others seeing your card is not as dangerous as people grouping together with each other on a single table and targeting you. This happens many many times in online poker.
My call: Stay away from online poker

collusion is very difficult to do effectively vs good players. and i think i'd be able to spot it so i could just leave. this has been discussed on 2+2. the amount i would lose because of their edge over the small sample they would get vs me before i noticed is almost not worth noting. however if my cards are somehow exposed or they know flops/turns/rivers... they will kill me even over a short sample.

and i play mostly hu anyways, so collusion is almost a non-factor for me.

You have to spend thousands of dollars for software and advertising and then you have to play for months scamming people and risking your future (cz when you get caught you'll have to start from the beginning - advertising, domain name, marketing, etc).

if you trust sealswithclubs then youre already getting screwed. theres more collusion on there than anything. least there was when i played there. plus cashouts there are anywhere from 3 hours to 24 hours.

far as any other "new" poker site as long as you can withdraw and deposit without waiting for more than 1 confirmation theres not much harm in trying them out. just dont go nuts putting 100 btc on them. play small stakes and have some fun

I've never played there myself but according to this thread which rates popular gambling websites, it has the same trustworthiness and overall rating as PrimeDice.

In my opinion Seals With Clubs is the best

I like Betcoin poker , but they don't respect Bitcoin
They have many tourneys and SnGs the depends on the price of the Bitcoin and that can leads to massive Bankroll Mangement

Seals with clubs is the best for me too . Been there for along time, and doubt would move to another site all of a sudden .
well yeah its the best because it has the most players if others would have that much they would be popular too

You are right, elephantas1. That's what we are trying to do on skyhighpoker.co.uk - get more players from all over the world.
And then - sky is the limit Smiley

Well, they share sng /mtt shedule and playerpool with WinningPokerNetwork (a network between multiple fiat currencies poker skins) so everytime you join a sng/mtt your btc are automatically converted to $ and the reverse transaction happens if/when you cash in a sng/mtt.

So ...yes Btc buyins and payouts depend on bitcoin price at the moment of the transaction, but I wouldn't call it a lack of respect towards bitcoin: it is just the (smart imho) way they solved the problem of building a huge playerbase and to give the best offer in term of sng and multitable tournaments.

Hey stellar69!

It is funny to look at your signature while reading your advice  Smiley

I bet that you never visited the website that I advertise in my signatures. 777coin offers you video poker and many more games.
Its not like the poker site about which the OP is talking about.

You are saying "Stay away from online poker" and you are advertising video poker  Smiley
Is your video poker off line lol?
But you are right I haven't visited that website. It could be good.
