We are in the process of building a several hundred acre marijuana farm.  Once complete we will start construction on this facility in Denver.  I'm not sure we'll have it done before the end of 2014.

So the grow/mine space never happened? Still plans for it? Sounded like a cool concept

It still does not  beat my rate.
Free!!! Grin
I can't sell it like this guy tried to.
We have a methane power generation plant that just went live this summer on our families farm.  Free power from poop.
Then again I'm in NY so no marijuana to go along with it. LOL

Free bump for you, since I'm interested. A 25,000 watt farm would be hot. Plants or Zombies. (I mean, miners.)

Nice, can you share how you can produce such cheap electricity?

We are stuck on the planning phase as we cannot seem to find a traditional lender (bank) who will touch this with a ten foot poll.

A grow tent would allow you to maintain a 24/0 - 18/6 light cycle in the same space you were flowering. As long as its light proof and the lights are on a separate timer, you should be able to get away with veg./flowering in the same space.

Now, I have absolutely no interest in mining bitcoins in this space, but these do however sound absolutely perfect for growing a crop of sensi. To hell with a network difficulty increase. I'd rather spider mites (not really, spider mites suck major, flower destroying ass).

So I ask...

+ Are these units wired for 240?

+ Is ducting available (duct holes i mean), for heat extraction? Or will i have to utilize leds? AC cooled space?
Edit: I Read and Understood this time, my bad

+ How secure is this? Keycard/code access? Keyed entry? Security Guards?

+ I have equipment already. Is it cheaper per month if I bring my own equipment? Or is that figure based off of the pictured setup being provided?

+ Will i have to utilize low odor strains? Been breeding a diesel x abusive kush cross that reeks to high heaven. Is odor control even required?

+ I am currently not a resident of Colorado. Besides federal pressure, will I be subject to any particular legislation that would allow my asset to be seized?

+ If these are classified as condos, in the event of fire, will I be able to recover my assets from catastrophe? (Renters insurance/ storage insurance are not the same service exactly and have different policy recovery limits)

One question.. as someone who has grown before how do you figure to sea of green with the setups pictured?

You normally need 2 or 3 separate spaces for clones / veggy / fruiting..

Miners, Computer Programmers and Weed Smokers are all the same community.

Prohibitionists against marijuana are probably the same idiots who are "against" bitcoin.  I'm not here to help day traders make money, I'm here to help my fellow pot smoking computer scientists.

If what you're after is cheap electricity and hosting for your mining rig, I can help you. I have a similar setup in Chelan, (no cannabis) Washington. I have rented a low-cost mini-storage unit, and will be placing several Avalon systems in it this month or next. The unit will be wired for 220V and Internet. It will be climate-controlled. Electricity is very cheap in Chelan because it is in an area dotted with hydro-electric dams. I can setup more storage units if more people commit to entrust their systems with me.

Here are recurring charges:

1. Electricity - approx 3 cents per kWh
2. Internet access - shared with other owners (cheap)
3. Space fee - 0.384 BTC per boxed system per month
4. Management fee - 5% of your earnings (no bigger than what you would pay a mining pool)

Unlike a mining pool, I cannot charge you automatically for all of these, so I will bill you monthly. If you don't pay, I simply unplug your machine Smiley

Who cares about electricity if you host a 2TH rig and pay 5% of income?

Wow, and I thought my $0.093/kWh rate was pretty cheap.

Hempire Loading...
So, anyone want to help me draft a phytoremediation bill that we can use to take back our constitution with regard to hemp?

If you are not familiar, phytoremediation is the process whereby a plant can be used to clean toxins out of soil simply by growing it on that land.  Industrial Hemp (or cannabis that is breed specifically to have less than 0.3% thc...to put that in perspective Viceroy is helping to grow a crop specifically breed to generate 25%+ THC) has been proven to be remarkably effective at this task, and is in fact currently being used in Russia at Chernobyl to clean up it's radioactive soil.  The most amazing part is, it works.  The roots suck in the radioactive metals and render them harmless (though the hemp is still disposed of as radioactive waste).  After a few growing cycles, the land can be reclaimed.

We need to impress this into the minds of the older voting population of the country, and pass a federal bill that permits cleaning up things like 3 Mile Island, and the oil spill in the Gulf, via Cannabis based phytoremediation.

Why would this help marijuana?  Look at Colorado...six months prior to the legalization of recreational pot, a phytoremediation bill was passed.  If we could figure out how to pass this on a federal level, it would put a hole in the damn (pun intended) that is the controlled substances act, and then we'd watch the rest crumble as people begin to think...wow hemp is pretty amazing, why is it illegal?  If we just had more intelligent people seeking the answer to this question...the towers will fall and we will gain full on legalization, and the end of marijuana prohibition.

On a lighter note...someone needs to start a comic about the superhero created from smoking phytoremediated radioactive bud.

Not true, I am a miner and former programmer and have never smoked weed (or anything for that matter). I support the right to decide for yourself, but the promotion of illegal activities does not help Bitcoin's image.

seriously weed isnt illegal in CO no more i can vouch for this we smoked in front of the cops a few months back! Wink~besides weed/hemp aint even a drug!!;-)weeeeee
I think you might be high right now.
