So far I see that most in the crypto world are men and only a few women are interested in getting into this world. It's quite unfortunate that quite a few women are into trading, investing, and even developing the Bitcoin ecosystem. Even if we look at the Bitcoin ecosystem, it is big, and there are still many opportunities that can be explored - women can also enter this world and join in to be able to build this ecosystem together and make it even stronger, but it seems that most of them are reluctant and prefer not to join into it, it's quite unfortunate.

Girls aren't stupid, there are many female want to learn about many thing, technology isn't only limited for male. But usually female are very bad in privacy because they're obsessed with popularity. However can you define what girl is? Roll Eyes

will be more happy if she share information and teach other friends.
This is bad, you're live in where Bitcoin is banned, if your sister teach about Bitcoin to her friends and her friends report your sister, your sister would be in trouble. When you're live in a country where they not allow Bitcoin, you need to learn what is privacy.

How nice of you, after 3 years on this forum you finally shared your knowledge with your sister.
And obviously, it's far better since this ain't one of those fantasy merit fishing stories!

She told me that she is interested to be a Bitcoin user. And already she started to keep some money from daily pocket money and after that she will invest in Bitcoin.

That's not being a Bitcoin user!
What you have told your sister is that Bitcoin is money-making machine into which he has to pour her savings to get moar money!
Which as always will have catastrophic effects for a lot of guys going this path if we enter another bear market and not a bullish season like everyone is expecting.

I still can't wait for a topic of somebody telling their relatives about Bitcoin on how this is censorship-resistant, how it works 24/7, how nobody can ban you from using it, how it allows you to pay somebody a continent apart, how you can store it safely without anyone ever knowing and not once mentioning the price or making rain money with one quarter. But I guess that would be a surprise even for users here!

You can also arrange for a Bitcoin lesson for your sister's friends if they are interested.

I already did that and was surprised that girls are keener on learning about Bitcoin because we are in a modern world, girls when they grow up want to be financially independent too and they don't want to depend on their boyfriends or husbands for their needs and besides has no specific age, race or sexuality we are all equal when it comes to acquiring Bitcoin, there may even a time that women will be more active investors of Bitcoin, Bitcoin really is for everyone.

My younger sister told me that how you bear your pocket money because dad doesn't give you much money without education fees. I told my sister that I have a little investment in Bitcoin and I am a short term trader (though the fund is little). She told that she learned about Bitcoin at her ICT related books. But she has not much knowledge about it. Then I tried to teach him the basics of Bitcoin. At last I succeed though there are enough information to learn by my sister. She told me that she is interested to be a Bitcoin user. And already she started to keep some money from daily pocket money and after that she will invest in Bitcoin. I told that not only you but also other girls should learn about Bitcoin and Blockchain technology. She told me that she will share her experience about Bitcoin with her college friends. I am now much happy by sharing with my younger sister about Bitcoin and will be more happy if she share information and teach other friends.
I yet to see someone that would know of as of asking money and by this I mean, get an understanding of what bitcoin is about and still kick out, even with the available funds to buy and hold some coins. The lots of persons that kicks out are those that are unaware and don't even care to find out.
The case is always different when the bulls starts running the market trends.

Anyway, bitcoin is not sexes and as such, there isn't any gender segregation. Anyone who is interested can always start from somewhere and build there portfolio but first, you get to learn the pros and cons.

Some females are good traders than male,it is not new anymore for female to adopt bitcoin because there are females in the cryptospace already. I am a female and I have introduced my female friends to bitcoin and only one of them was interested and she have her bitcoin investment portfolio. I love what you did by teaching your younger sister bitcoin and she has already invested in it. I hope you told her about the risk involved, because she should know that it is not a get rick quick project. Also advise her to go into a long term investment for her not a panic when bitcoin price dips below the price she bought it. Lastly, bitcoin knowledge doesn't end at the basic concept alone, she needs to be learning constantly for her to be able to keep her funds safe in her wallet. You should introduce her to the forum so that she can have a successful bitcoin journey

There are women who've already been in Bitcoin and it's not new. I get that the majority of people here in this space are men but there are also women. I have female friends and acquaintances that are into crypto and some of them are influenced by their boyfriends.

Anyone can learn about Bitcoin regardless of their gender, as long as they're interested in learning and exploring Bitcoin. Glad for you, that you're able to convince your sister about Bitcoin and she seems interested in learning. She might be able to influence her friends once she has enough experience and knowledge in Bitcoin.

It's no longer a thing that must be like an exception on this space. There have been a bunch of women that's also into Bitcoin so that's not something new anymore.

But still, good job on introducing bitcoin to your sister but you don't have to force her to tell it to her friends. That can even be a problem that she'll bear soon when one of her friends invests and then not patient enough but only sees the daily losses because of volatility.

Educating her is enough already and you did a great thing there.

Even before now, I have had a lot of female friends and relatives who are into Bitcoin. They love the technology, and most of them are doing far better than a few of us, but they don't just show themselves; a lot of them just like leaving their private lives and doing their things the way they want to do them.

Since she already has the basis or just the name from a computer book, it will be easier for you to lecture her more about the coin, but before you advise her to also bring her schoolmate onboard, you should educate her more first. She really needs to understand what she is about to teach someone before she can move forward in doing that, or she will misinform her friends and they will have the wrong information about Bitcoin and invest in it from the wrong perspective, which might end up landing her in trouble.

The bitcoin space is non-discriminatory, anybody that is interested is free to use the currency. Anybody that has an interest in the sector is free to join regardless of gender or race. Everybody has equal opportunity in the Bitcoin sector. But I also understand your point OP, the crypto space is dominated by men. This might be because women are restricted by finance, childraising, cultural barriers, and other impediment. In my area, most parents restrict their female children from owning mobile phones while male children are free to own one.

But it was great you shared the Bitcoin experience with your sister. Bitcoin education should be continued so ensure you keep exposing her to other areas such as Bitcoin transactions, wallets, privacy, security, etc. You can also arrange for a Bitcoin lesson for your sister's friends if they are interested.

Your story is more or less fascinating because at any point in time we try to introduce bitcoin to people around us irrespective of their gender differences, i will say that your sister had made her choice already right from when she demanded to learn about bitcoin, she realized that her gender difference shouldn't be a barrier to knowing about bitcoin, be an investor and be financially free and independent, same should other people learn from this that bitcoin is meant for all, no gender bias, it's not meant for the men alone, try encourage her to take more adequate steps in learning about bitcoin the more because she's just getting started.
