They can just disappear if they are proved to scammed their investors and holders of their coin. I don't want to use a specific altcoin as an example but when the top altcoins are proven to scammed people then they can just disappear in an instant but most of the team of the top altcoins are known by many people, there is a chance that they will caught by authorities.

Yeah it is a good time to buy but if it becomes a scam coin, there is no good to time to buy anymore but good time to sell only.

I really doubt the fact of altcoin getting wiped even dogecoin mate It will be obviously hard for that to happen my friend BTC will still dominate for the time being and there will be more struggle for altcoin to shake that off and from what we are seeing Is as if that is starting to take place More time and maybe BTC drop 20% more

Indeed bleeding market is a good time to buy popular coins because those coins who dont have real use cases are likely to disappear once the market gets worst.

Bitcoin has an influence in altcoins price so if the price of btc is increasing some alts do follow.

Nevertheless whatever happen in the market lets just keep in mind that its just a temporary scenario because nothing is permanent.

The bleeding market will not stop except that we get a factor that will make the market to become a talk of the town again, what is happening to Ethereum? and I am wondering if they are still making moves to trigger the market again because I feel what actually led us to the last bull run was the entrance of ico if moment the market, and this was what made many large investors to put in large amount of money then.

Right now, people are very carefully in investing their money into ico now because they feel like the whales are smarter than them, and the best way to avoid whales winning is abstaining which I think it is what is making us lose value of altcoins every day. I feel that ethereum can adopt the policy of binance also to coordinate things.

actually why do you think there is manipulation of bitcoin on the market? for what happened? if there really are some people or groups who intend to manipulate prices and movements of bitcoin, just believe they will definitely need a very large money.

altcoin conditions have started to improve, although after rising most will also go down again. it's very reasonable because there is no strong market demand. but if we see the movement of altcoin which has improved it means a good sign for the market to come.

Or there could be manipulation for the bitcoin market that's why altcoins have started some magical runs as of today. But we still don't know how long will this last, bitcoin is still dominating, more than 60% of total market caps.

So it's good to see altcoin gaining some momentum but I'm not totally sold, this could be short and sweet so everyone not blink on this one.

At least Alts stop bleeding, Most progress well with 2 digit gain, XRP, LINK, XLM, ETH
Gratz to all who bought it during the low

However, it might just be a BTC/Alts dominance cool down period
Because the pump period for alts is just too short which is why no-one can really conclude if the alts wave is here

According to PundiX - it was and remains top 100 CMC by cap, and pretty decent trading volume, and it was the time when airdrops finished. I bought it pretty low and hope it would at least be pumped

It's not only the bad news but the general status of the market, this market is so active, from time to time we can read good or bad news but its performance really depends on its season. Now, the market is still not so profitable to invest since altcoins are still bearish, it's bleeding obviously because we've seen how altcoins are down significantly and its getting worse when bitcoin is just moving sideways.

Of course altcoins will not die, it may suffer but it will eventually recover at the right time, so let us not loss our patience because just like in the past, after the bear season, the bull season will take into command.

People are buying the pundix because we are seeing some active developments from the team which makes to hold the coins n long term. Of course, now the value of Pundix is very cheap but once the market starts recovering we might see how fast the coin starts recovering its price.

I am a supporter of PundiX as well, it's one of the few coins in the market that are undervalued now.
It's currently trading from 3 to 4 sats, but this one could be valued over 100 sats in the future, so I think if we buy this coin now, we can easily enjoy a x10 return in just a short period of time.

This is just my own opinion, I could be wrong because investing is really risky, but this is part of my big portfolio that I'm still holding up to now.

In my trading strategy, adding more to the profitable trades is the best thing to do if the crypto market has strong uptrend signals.

ETH did touched $250 this year already but there's no altseason happened, maybe it needs to rise more, like double your target to $500 then we might see an altcoin season. Honestly, I was surprise seeing ETH is growing today, the market is good because BTC did not move, but altcoins are pumping today. Most of the altcoins in the https://coinmarketcap.com/ (top 100) are green, BTC just don't move at all, it's a good development if this will continue to move like this.

We cant still able to conclude yet that this is already the alt season.We do see significant rise on last 24 hours which is good to look at those greens on the charts.
doubling for ETH price would last out for sometime but it doesnt mean that we wont able to see alt season ever again.There would always be but we wont know on when it would happen.Bitcoin is moving sideways for how many months now and we know that it doesnt correlate anytime on altcoins movement either it would go to the opposite way or would simply go along with it and as trader or investor we should know how to spot out entry points for possible lowest or bottom.

In fact, recent alts have been falling in price. As you probably know, the value of bitcoin has risen sharply in the past 3 months when many investors suddenly sold alts to buy Bitcoin.
This creates a trend and makes the price of alts underestimated.
Therefore, the value of big businesses like ETH, XRP, BCH, Litecoin is not affected, and this is a good time to buy more coins.
