if the developer team still active to develop the project

For sure, bearish market gives a lot of opportunities for strong hands, but the problem is that altcoins haven't shown significant price increase for more than one and half years, while BTC is doing awesome and has already made x3 science the beginning of 2019.
It has long been necessary to understand that many altcoins are unnecessary garbage. And if you have it in your portfolio, then you had to get rid of it for a long time. (This I'm talking about frank shitcoins). But there are also very active and working projects. Look for them, and soon you will be happy.
Just best way is keep 50% your Capital in stable coins and 50% Bitcoins.
This way u Don't lose when btc Go Up or Down.
Why stable coin mate? And of what benefit is stable coin when it cannot really increase or give profit. If you keep money in stable coin, is more like keeping money in your fiat bank or keeping it In an exchange usd account without changing it, I would rather just put the money in bitcoin than keep in exchange.This way u Don't lose when btc Go Up or Down.
People that makes use of stable coins more are trader because they often do make trade and rather than taking it to wallet often and payment fees, they keep in on a stable coin, or the remaining 50 percent can still be kept in some altcoins which I think now that most altcoins have really gone down is the best time for us to invest in them, most especially the altcoins that are on exchanges like binance and are ranked as top coins.

Kind a agree with the statement. Only the fittest would survive. Most shitcoins should vanish soon. But some with strong team and sound management and development might be still able to weather the bearish trend.

I agree with your point that the Altcoins market are really crowded now that this altcoin market bleeding will identify those shitcoins that need to disappear in the market so that the remaining will be the stable coins for the few Altcoins investors who are really divided because of so many Altcoins to choose in the market.
I agree if the shitcoin needs to disappear because we cannot make any profit from the coins. Besides that, I think with the disappearing of the shitcoin will make the market looks good and that will attract more people to come, and some of them can recover their losses before. But it will need longer to delist the shitcoin from the market because the developer of the coins don't want to see their coins disappear. I think that will be a refresh from the market and the weak coins will delist.

What is your basis? It seems like altcoins is still not moving or showing signs of bull run and I hope I'm wrong and it will surprise us. I agree with buying currently since the value is really cheap but I am not seeing what you are seeing that the bull run is already around the corner.
My basis for my analysis is when BTC will have its ATH, that way, the market will be lively and possibly there might be another FOMO again.
We like that to happen so majority of our altcoins will again live and prosper, for now, it still not moving well, some even worth very cheap already, like my holdings which I hold only 10% to 20% from the original value I bought them.

What makes those coins you see at the top is not because of the position they occupy but because of the solid team that are behind them and it is because they are very active in promoting their products and making sure that it is useful to the public, that is why you could see them there, but there is possibility of them really dropping down if the team become less active. Aside those ones that are faking volume and probably tipping those who are listing them for the position, other projects can drop, but some of them are also being sustained right now because their investors has already lost parts of their investment to bear market, so they would wait till the market probably recovers, that is why they might not drop to zero now.

If the majority is following bitcoin, I would be willing to go against that. Because the volatility of Bitcoin is increasingly unpredictable, signal data is no longer available in the past few days.Therefore, the risk of bitcoin transactions is increasing. I would choose to buy altcoins when its price drops instead of trying to follow the trend.

Altcoin will be staying at the market no matter bitcoin moves because of the altcoin are helping bitcoin to increase and attract more people to come into cryptocurrency. If the altcoin disappears from the market, then I don't think bitcoin will be staying for a long time. Perhaps, some of the weak altcoins will disappear because they can not survive, and they lose their support from the community and the people.
The red candle in the market will be a good time to buy, and I agree that. But you don't have to panic to see the altcoin down because the altcoin will survive from the red candle and it will change to the green candle.

No, it won't disappear as long as development is still ongoing
I mean if we were to look at a coin without looking at it's $$(Fiat Value), it doesn't change anything
For example for Ethereum, regardless if Ethereum is $1 or $1,000
As long as you were to run a smart contract function or transfer from wallet to wallet, you would need Ethereum as Gas to perform transaction
Hence, it won't disappear imo
Price might go down lower and lower but it won't disappear

Most of the coins are completely empty, without use, without a sound economic model. In my opinion, many projects are still overestimated. Do you remember who and how much promised during the ICO, and where are their promises, what have they achieved? I think the alt market will explode, but this is pure speculation.
Too few worthwhile projects.
And about the bottom. Often I hear that now it’s exactly the bottom. I heard this in the summer and the spring and the winter and now. The funny thing is that often these are the same people.
Maybe now is a good time to buy, maybe not. I do not know. A lot depends on bitcoin. I am waiting for the alt hype after bitcoin beats ATH.
All depends on the quality of the coin. And if the coin is already in the top rankings, I think it will be safe and not return to zero.
Which I have experienced so far that many coins to zero because it has poor quality. These coins are hard to find buyers. If the Altcoin season comes back, all the coins have the potential to grow bigger. So with the dominance of Bitcoin is now better focused on Bitcoin, and hold your Altcoin.
