The best you should invest if this is your first time are those startup token. Try buy token on IDO, ICO or IEO for bonus token and also to benefit on the early price before the whales surge in to discover the price potential. Just make sure that the project is legit and backed up by well known project and VC to make sure that the project has a potential. Never invest to a too good to be true project without a solid team working behind it. I will not suggest a specific coin here since the OP is newbie so he better to DYOR for his money sake.

Seems this is your first topic on the forum. So welcome to the board. Everyone suggesting their favorite coins, but I will say you need more time to learn about cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency doesn't mean that you will get profits upon investment. Reading forum posts would help you to gain more knowledge about crypto. Crypto is a currency where you would lose your portfolio as well. It's better to know first about the risk. To know about altcoins is more complicated I think. So first study about Bitcoin and how it's work actually. When you will be familiar with Bitcoin then it would easier to learn about other altcoins. Then you would realize where you need to invest. For now, I wouldn't suggest any altcoin for you except Bitcoin.

Entering the market without much knowledge on it seems risky worse possible to happen is to lose that money of yours thus, I wouldn't recommend investing in crypto. It's not that I don't want to teach you but you should know that you are not supposed to get tips from anyone especially in this market not because you are not certain if they are telling the truth. Just like what others said never trust anyone in trading the only one you can rely upon is yourself that is why they always say DYOR. But anyway I am giving you a hint I don't care if you will take this or not but still I want to tell you that if you are going to invest just stick up to top-listed coins don't venture on newly-created coins.

Looks like you are a newcomer who wants to try his luck here. As a newcomer you must understand how the cryptocurrency market works, because here it is not only the benefits you can get, but the risk of loss is also unavoidable. So before you go any further, You should learn more about how to invest in cryptocurrency.

Crypto space is too much volatile to control it, many of us can hardly control it. I have too many to share, but it's not guaranteed you relief from your debt or give you financial freedom. A lot of tokens unnecessary pump and dump and many of them can be worthless in time. I’ll just give you my top choices for now, lol. BTC is still my top holding though. Matic, ADA, Dent, PundiX worth buy. Why not just use google?
Hey there is no guarantee that you can make profit everyday with cryptocurrencies. It's not easy you know.. it could take long to make profit and sometimes the market will go down and we don't know how long it will go recover so it is risky to invest in cryptos especially you are newbie. One of the members here suggested to get a job I agree with him that's only way to help your dad.

It's good that on your early age, you are starting to adopt bitcoin but I can't help you with this one because its too risky for you if you follow any advice here without a proper knowledge. I know the importance of making money as a student because I've also experience the same problem before financially, and I'm telling you making money here wont be easy for you even if you have a good capital to start with.
Take advantage of your young age to learn more about cryptocurrency, don't invest yet just stay focus on learning things especially on how the price of cryptocurrency works, and also learn how to trade so you can know when to buy and sell. But if you insist and want to buy cryptocurrency, then I suggest to buy BTC, ETH or BNB this can be a safe investment for you while you are learning.

Research on your own and find your own answers. Personally, I will only say 2 things:
- invest what you can afford to lose and in fact expect that all the money you invest is lost
- only Bitcoin and only wallet with private keys for your eyes only.
DYOR, people who suggest which to buy or where to invest shills their altcoin of choice. There are a lot of low-cap projects there or those new projects which have a huge long-term potential and with a good partnership with big companies. You should also take note, investing in crypto will not 100% secure your future. Do not depend on it too much as the market can move side-ways any time.
Choose mineable coin, Proof of Work and don't choose Proof of Stake coins because they are mint from thin air. Developers can dump their free minted coins anytime the price is up.
