Everybody needs patience in crypto world. This is not a get rich quick scheme that so many people think about. The market is not just rising continuously and unstoppable. It has rise and fall, bull and bear seasons, red and green candles. If you can't handle the red, fall, and bear season you are definitely not worthy in its rise, green, and bull season.

Top 10 is the safest one but right now the best option is to stock the coins that you like and hold it for a long term until the market will recover. As the market is bleeding the prices of any coins are very low also therefore it is the right time to buy.

Due to market conditions, very few projects are launching therefore the altcoins are not increasing unlike in the past.

Still these 2 is the best to hold until the market brings back it's good performance. There is no guarantee in investing in any ways what we all need is to set our goal whether to long term or short term holding and trading. I only have few alts holding now since alts are too risky now and it's safer to invest in BTC even the price growth takes time.

indeed no one can provide any guarantees to the circulation of cryptocurrency but you can try to minimize that risk by trading on a few coins and focusing on coins that are a little safer, like Bitcoin, Ethereum, XLM, and Binance Coins which in my opinion are a little safer than other altcoins.

Even though the top 30 altcoins are very stable right now and doesn't have any movement based on the market graph. I do some technical analysis on what is the situation of the altcoin and it is very sad to see that the altcoins are getting weaker and weaker in which there are so many altcoins that are not fluctuating and we called it as an stable coins.
If we will be able to invest on altcoins then we should consider first the consistency of the altcoin that we will be able to invest, because we all know that altcoin right now are very in down situation and many of it is already dead, so before we invest try to look the market cap of the coin you will invest.

Even bitcoin and also most of the top altcoins are affected by the bearish market. I have been hodling most of my top cryptos since the bull market in 2017 hoping that price would pump anytime soon. But it did not happen. I hope 2020 would be a different year and that the price of my portfolio would soon rise.

Even most of the top 30 altcoin is bleeding though I can say if we want to invest in these altcoin, now is the best time because it is already at its bottom. Though we must make sure that we do our research on the altcoin we wanted to invest so that we won't regret any of our decisions regarding this investment.

It had been already years by now.
Since the entry of Tether and other stable coins there had been not much of a movement for altcoins.
Yeah, all they see now is those top 10 in the market. How about the new ones? I have seen a lot of good project that went down.
They are supported in ICO but yet investors dumped it so hard when they saw profit.
That should be changed.

It's not necessary that we will only invest in top 30 altcoins, there were times that alt not included in 30 do some updates and developments that make them worth it to be traded in a day or in a week. If we know we will be able to watch its price and traded it daily then its better to risk to earn than wait for nothing in some top alts that slowly moving or falling in price. It's good to be safe but let's not limit ourselves especially if we see some chance to earn, just do research why that alt is increasing.

You have to be patient and invest in altcoin which is still being developed. as they say, that altcoin prices are currently recovering (and I hope this continues). Certainly, you will see prices that are dumped if you invest in an altcoin that is not clear. I know you just want to tell you the information that doesn't invest in altcoin outside of the top 30, but for now, it seems like you're wrong to say that altcoin isn't increasing or recovering.

That's the best decision when you are a long term hodlers for crypto but i just try to follow the market direction as im a daily trader. Altcoin will be growing up when there will be a huge update.
Just try to take a look at the altcoin before you an try to take a conclution about that. It seems like nothing happened with altcoin and it still keeps its position until today.
This time altcoin will be growing up based on the update and not just caused by new money to be thrown to the altcoin.
How do you know if the uptrend for altcoin will be a new money that used to buy altcoin?

It's part of the risks when investing in crypto, all you must do is be prepared for the best or the worst, it doesn't make sense to dump at loss but it does make sense to be patience and hold for some time, things can't keep going like this for sure

How the market looks today

Most altcoins are going up now so does that mean that new money is being poured into the market? It's hard to tell. Traders could just be buying back their "favorite" altcoins.

Investing in top 30 does not guarantee safety. Even they can go down in an instant once bitcoin drags them down. It will, however, reduce the risk of losing more because you can get out faster compared to coins with lover trading volume.
