People predict tons of thing in cryptos. Crypto market is largely been running on speculation and speculations alone are enough to make or break a coin.
There is still a lot of potential left in cryptos. A bull market is waiting around the corner and we will definitely see one in 2018 itself. Regarding 2019-2020, most probably yes, we will see a growth in cryptos. Cryptos aren't yet dead.

Even if they say nothing can beat bitcoin when it comes to market cap, I would say many altcoins have beaten BTC in all categories of investment profile. Like the growth and gains from ground up.

Altcoin market is growing much but altcoin number is growing much also, there is much altcoin and all money dividing to this altcoins, most of them must die and just good projects must survive for the good market.

prediction is a foresight for the upcoming price in the future, predictions are not 100% accurate and not all of them will be going to happen once the predicted dates, months or years pass by, ask them if they are confident to the crypto that they are holding within their profile or they are just holding a bag of useless coins, Bitcoin, Eth and other reliable altcoins is worth to hold from this market situations.

the market is unpredictable, but everyone has strong predictions, until they say that Altcoin can rise if bitcoin goes down and vice versa, but I am just more confident and I am sure that Altcoin will increase, but I don't say predictions I'm just sure that I remember growth like last year.

The investment spill over too many successful ICOs and thus bitcoin value remained below $6K for almost 6 months. This is another reason all other altcoins value remained so low and yes few investors made use this situation .
