I really wish that more investors will look the way of altcoins rather than bitcoin. Bitcoin has gained a lot of weight in the space and I see this affecting the altcoins. I won't deny that I have most of my investments in Bitcoin, I also hold most altcoins. There should be abalance in both for a sustainable market.

Choosing between the two is difficult for me because I have benefited from bitcoin and altcoin. Bitcoin which is arguably a coin that is preferred by investors because of its high price compared to altcoin. But that does not mean that altcoin cannot provide profit and is worth investing because so far I have invested in both.will you invest more in altcoins or prefer Bitcoin??? i think altcoins need more investors like Bitcoin?
Bitcoin is definitely a major investment, because it has the best potential in the future. And to invest in Altcoin, we must choose Altcoin that really has good potential. If we have been in Cryptocurrency for a long time, of course, all of us have understood that Altcoin has good potential, or we can visit Coinmarketcap to find out which altcoin is at the top.
Actually, we need both of them because if we reject altcoins who will trigger bitcoin supremacy? Altcoins help investors and traders to play crypto game wiser specially the top cryptos in the market. In other hand the disappointing of altcoins some are scam and dead.
The honest truth is that investing in bitcoin is less risky and not very lucrative in the short run. We all know that bitcoin is near money and can easily be converted into fiat without any stress, but altcoin could be more lucrative, but highly risky. Some altcoin may dump and never rise again.
Ain't no wonder why a lot of people/investors are preferred for Bitcoin than of altcoins. Market profitability is very entertaining and makes interest to the people, and bitcoin have it more than that of altcoins can do. Will be looking assurance for market return and what Bitcoin can do for us in the future will it seems to be a part of our selection. Altcoin can give something but the risk of losing is too high than of Bitcoin.
How can Bitcoin to be compare with Altcoin, Hence bitcoin still remains as number one coin in the crypto community and it cant be compared, secondly i prefer to invest more on BTC for a future used.
In as much as altcoin is profitable, one really needs to be careful with altcoin, if you must pick or invest, invest with an altcoin with good use case and team back up. Now that being said, I would go for bitcoin instead of Altcoin.

I don’t understand why to make such a choice and choose one thing. I prefer to invest in both altcoins and Bitcoins. If I lose on altcoins, then I earn on Bitcoins and vice versa.
I will invest on bitcoin and why? Bitcoin has imbedded it's root in the cryptocurrency space and it geared interest already and altcoins is developing on that but at a snail like speed.

In my opinion, Bitcoin has already proved everything to everyone.
I personally lost my portfolio due to altcoins.

It could be like that so many investors run to altcoin most likely can make altcoin prices go up following the movements of bitcoin which shows a very good movement after experiencing a decline
2019 is showing that BTC was the right choice till that moment. The dominance of BTC is just huge and there is no place to grow for other altcoins, so we would need to wait until investors will switch to altcoins which is going to happen pretty soon.

Altcoins doesn’t have much investors as compared to what we have in Bitcoin. Investors are always interested where they think they are going to make profit, that’s the main thing that matters to every investor profit. If altcoins are not going to make them that profit, then they wouldn’t go for it. And since Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency to be known, that gives it the advantage over others. Wherever cryptocurrency is mentioned the first thing that comes to mind is Bitcoin and nothing else and it is already highly recognized. The 2017 bubble is another thing that made Bitcoin to be very popular, no ALTCOIN has performed as much as that. So if they place these two, you’re definitely going for Bitcoin as long as you know you’ve got what it takes.I would choose an altcoin with better technology. Bitcoin has been pumped to its max value by some altcoins holders as its dominance is at 70 percent and that is not a normal growth.
That’s a lie, don’t deceive yourself. It has not even been pumped to anything, it still even has more to accomplish. The one that happened before was just the first and there is still many more to come as the market cap continues to increase as well. I believe that in next year there is going to be a bull run or maybe before the end of this year. Altcoins don’t perform as much as Bitcoin when it comes to price increase. Bitcoin has the highest number.

Bitcoin now has a much better position and price level, however, you can earn much more on altcoins than on Bitcoins. Therefore, I am waiting for altcoins to start to grow in price to start buying and making money.

Yes so far the development of Altcoin prices has always been unstable and absolutely cannot be expected especially in the long run, as evidenced since the Bearish market yesterday the price of Altcoin has gone down even the ETH which became the best dominant actually fell. Opportunities exist only for people who want to fight to the end but Bitcoin is the biggest and most convincing investment place.

I think it's safer to invest in bitocin long term but altcoins have more growth potential. With analysts projecting a target of 55 000 to 60 000 USD as the peak for the next market rally(about 6x from CMP), a lot of alts are likely to pull a 10x to 100x if the make it back to previous ATH.
I prefer the bitcoin. Because I don't want to risk too much. I agree with you, there must be more investors to push the current price of an altcoin. And so that the dominant bitcoin goes down.
I use both. for investment I save bitcoin but for trading I rely more on altcoin. I'm sure many people will do as I do. This thinking is actually the basis for seeking profit in the crypto market. Jump to:
