Altcoins are good for cumulating more Bitcoins. I mean if you are trading, you can easily grow your Bitcoin portfolio.

For now ti I have here's a trend reversal for alts, investment in Btc is the best thing. Alts have been declining in price the past year Btc has stabilized to an extent from 3k to 14k. Invest in Bitcoin now, turn to alts when its alts season.

For me altcoin just to make a lot of bitcoin, because bitcoin is have a good price from altcoin.

I think we can combine our investments in bitcoin and altcoin. The biggest portion is still bitcoin because bitcoin is the main currency in the cryptocurrency market. With a portion of 60% for bitcoin and 40% for altcoin which is in the top 50, I think this is a pretty good choice
70 percent will be in bitcoin and profits that came from it will be for altcoins.
I think you really need to diversify now. Some altcoin projects gives huge return when you pick the right one.
Some may have been a scam but that doesnt mean all will be like that.
One example will be Ethereum. It may be in slow phase by now but there is this possibility that it may rise again with the right market coming in.

well I prefer to invest more in Altcoins because you can make x10 profit or more, but it's hard to spot a good altcoin that can increase multiple times.
I don't know how long have you been in the crypto market, but I would tell you, there's no such thing as x10 profit anymore, if ever you find one, please let us know before P&D group takes over. Bitcoin has always been the top choice of every investor in the cryptocurrency market. There are indeed many altcoins that have the potential to be profitable for the long term but with current market conditions, it seems that bitcoin is a safe choice. The current conditions are different from 2017 where the price of altcoin skyrocketed.

I guess it really depends on the altcoin that we're going for, Bitcoin is really hard to beat and it will remain as King, if not forever. Though there are quality coins that will be huge because of cases with them having real partnerships (not just verbal) and making efforts to get listed in top exchanges like Binance for more volume. I invested in one altcoin way back 2017 and I haven't seen so many efforts, marketing, or constant updates to the community at all. Those are the altcoins that you may need to stop following.
I am a trader with a small capital of course my choice is to invest in altcoin which has relatively cheap prices, the reason is because if a small capital invests in bitcoin, the profit we get is quite small, but if investing in altcoin, surely the opportunity to get a big profit we can get.
As of now, Bitcoin is still dominant. Most altcoin bleeds because of the way Bitcoin moves. Since altcoins are down, it would be wise to pick a top cryptocurrency and invest in it. To be honest, it depends on the trend. There are times when some altcoins are making a big move and there are times like this where you can get a nice profit from Bitcoin.

for now I prefer bitcoin, because the dominance of bitcoin is getting stronger. very risky if you invest in altcoin at this time, especially if altcoin is not well known. If you really want to invest in altcoin, select altcoin top 10 CMC.
in my opinion the same is all the coins we invest all depend on the investors themselves in my opinion in the current conditions investors must be clever in utilizing every opportunity that will be obtained in the coins that we will invest

When bull run start Bitcoin investor will move to altcoins then will be low demand of Bitcoin. If I invest now, I will choose to altcoins even for more profit, new altcoins.

bitcoin for the long term, and altcoin for the short and medium-term. if you have more funds you can invest your funds in your bitcoin wallet, then trade it with altcoin. by trading, you will get a daily profit and then accumulate into bitcoin and your bitcoin will increase then save and hold until the right time to sell it.
