That is a sign that a developer or founder is not an innovative person.
It's better to develop your own idea even though you have to follow the trend but not overall, at least the uniqueness of the project will be appreciated by many people.
Usually people who think of making coins according to news trends just want quick profits so they don't care about who buys the coins because the founder will soon run away from the project.

If you change your coin according to the crypto trend, I think you will have a hard time making a profit because that means you will sell your coins or tokens, regardless of the price and conditions. If it's better, you really look for coins that can survive and adapt to all trends such as bitcoin, ethereum, bnb, or others, so you don't have to bother to always change your coins based on crypto trends.

Some projects are like that, but they are deliberately kept short.
The real projects are not following the trend, but those who make the trend happen.
When we see a new cryptocurrency project whose concept is in line with the current trend,
I believe it only wants to take advantage of the short-term hype even some of them
deliberately trap investors in their projects and then leave them after they buy the coin.

should we change our coin according to crypto trends

What do you mean by this? You have to be clear.
Changing coin according to crypto trends is meaning what exactly. You can sell your coins to buy another preferable coin if that is what you mean but you should explain better. If the hype of a coin is interesting you, you can make a shift but altcoins are mainly almost same, hype and dump.
Two meanings.
1. He is a part of the team of an altcoin project and they are intrigued about changing the name of it using the trend.
2. He has a portfolio of different altcoins with old names and not on the trend and he wants to sell them all in exchange for what's in the trend.
That's what I understand but if you include the title in the theory, I think the higher chance to be right is number 2.
OP, there's a bear happening, and if you sell them all now I don't think you will be in profits but mostly loss. Try to be at ROI first before switching or if you have more money buy them like you are a new investor again. But, I don't recommend what is "in the trend". Most of them are short-term or worse scams.

This is the fastest way to burn your money, not all are able or can make money from Crypto trending these are pump and dump coins unless you know the movement of whales behind these pumps and dump coins you are sure to lose money investing in these trending coins, many of these coins are useless and have no usability or platform at all.

Your statement is absolutely correct. If we chase the hype or the ongoing trend without knowing anything with the aim of doubling our money quickly, that is a big mistake. Otherwise, our money will be lost.

Simply stick to altcoins that have strong fundamentals, have a use case, clear vision in the real world or make sense.

Do you mean that you should change your altcoin portfolio depending on the trend that is happening right now?
What if your last portfolio assets are worthier than those new coins or tokens?
Be wise and not only follow the hype. The hype will be bigger, very big enough. But most hypes will not survive for long. And once you get it, you may regret changing the assets to the new one. We can exactly add some to our portfolio with the new hype coins, but not for long term. And you must also know the right time to sell again the coins in rderto get the profits, not being dead coins again in the wallet.

Well, trend and hyped coins will perhaps lead you from a massive loss --dont be a fool with it.
Most of those altcoins that are going trending in the market and making a massive hype have become a shitcoin, especially those altcoins that have a real use that only exists because of the hype. I will not name them all but it is usually in meme coin. They later become a shitcoin after increasing the price in the market. Choose wisely, that is your money and you have a right to choose which is the better one, make sure you have been already had DYOR.

Altcoins are good alternative investment since Bitcoin can’t do everything that’s why altcoins exist but you should understand that not every altcoins are worth buying, some are just being hyped so avoid getting hyped by any news and don’t invest if you are just depending on the news alone. Altcoins are very volatile same thing with Bitcoin, its too risky to buy without doing any analysis.
Not all are good alternatives, most probably OP read a paid advertisement articles about a specific altcoins and think that its a signal to buy, that’s too risky and we should really not depend on that.

The news are not all about positive though, some news triggers the alarm for you to sell so better to see the news on every angles before you execute your trade. Altcoins are profitable most of the time, you just have to look for the good projects.

It always depends what kind of goal you want to achieve and of course also what kind of person or trader you are. If you want to achieve profits as high as possible in a very short time frame, then you probably need to do day-trading and for that you really need to be up to date wiht all the rumours that are floating aroudn and with all the trends and hype cycles that going on at the moment. This can be very profitable but of course it is also a huge effort and the possibility to lose your money partially or even completely is always there and not even that small in my opinion.
If you want to generate profit as stress free as possible you can invest into good and established altcoins and just hodl them for a long period of time then you should also be able to make a decent profit.

Trade coins/tokens based on your own analysis and not based on any articles, you are playing with your own money so better to be more wise, don’t listen to any news aside from your own analysis. Those are meant to distract you, and paid articles are there to fool people so better to be safe. Altcoins are good, but not all are worth to buy even if they are on a the news.

Do that and adopt the current trends and you're going to get tired of the changes that usually does in the market.

Are you going to adopt every single trend that's coming in the market and you're going to change your style of investing and cryptos that you hold? You decide.

I've been in the market and I have adopted the trends but it didn't made me change the coins that I hold.

News about a scam or a positive one?
Getting on a news doesn't mean you are going to invest with them, its still better to have your own analysis because not all news are good and not a good signal to buy, some of them are paid advertisements especially the articles about a specific altcoin. If I’m going to invest, I still need to look for the project itself before buying.

Good luck being baited by those paid written articles to just shill another shitcoin in the market, OP. That's not how you DYOR, OP. You're entirely relying your money to these coins that aren't going to even last overnight in the exchange.
It's not a poggers that you would expect in the end, lol.

Don't change your coins because the coin you know is trending because you will only lose the total value of your coins. First, exchange fee is first one and second is the transaction fee when you sell your coin and buy the coin that is trending. Trends won't also last long so better stick with the coin that is more worth to hold and is profitable in the long run. You never know that the coin you own will also become trend and you'll lose the chance to earn profit.

Altcoin question and answer better option to earn money in crypto

Topic title explain the cause of your post query.
You are still hesitated on how to earn from investing in cryptos and you think that trends can represent the best opportunities. If so then i advice you to invest in bitcoin, he is the most successful trend.

Choose wisely as there are no signals to buy such a coin unless it's hyped. I suggest you to take a look at what called Meme coins and how some of them got their prices increased due to hyped announcements before they die forever.

It's unwise to change your coin due to crypto trends because the trend never seems to stop changing. The wise approach is to dyor and stick to projects you consider worth your investment. The value may be low presently, but what really matters is the fact that the value could increase and give much more returns.

If you know how to ride the trend, it's up to you. However, can you handle the risks? Can you manage properly that coin while in progress? I won't consider it's a wrong move but you should understand what you are dealing with. Try to understand deeply what's the meaning being "HYPE" and "FOMO".

If you will just ride the craze just because you saw others get a good outcome from doing it, it's a suicide investment for you. It doesn't mean you both will have a different good result at the end.

Try to think outside the box or much better if you will totally remove the box.

You must not do that. The news will remain in short term but this is quite different when it comes to the long term. I think that you didn't know when exactly the trend will be changed and this means if you are following the trend after this trend already booming and you may buy your coin at peak price and you will be in result to get a huge loss. You must always remember that following the trend will be a very difficult task. it's caused by there is a lot of uncertainty. this makes people are always aware of the situation in the market. I think that changing your token according to the trend will not give you the maximum result for your profit. The fact that so many people have been doing this.
You must keep the potential coin and change under performance coin with another legit token that follows the trend.

Don't be a lazy guy, i do believe if you are also seeing the bounty section as well https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

Just read any bounty threads created by various bounty managers and then try to think which bounty campaign will pay you a stable token.

if your rank is still below full member then don't expect much to get a chance to be able to join a good paying bounty campaign with USDT or BTC. if the main reason you re-enter this forum is just because of bounties then don't expect much you can achieve that easily unless you want to spend time participating in campaigns that pay tokens in the bounty section.
No man, it's not always signature but he can join in another campaign like telegram or social media. The problem is the payment rate may vary and very small compared with the signature campaign these days,
