altcoin season almost depends from main coins and their growing! as market is on the bottom - everything on the bottom! waiting when market will recover
True though, altcoins season is not yet, bitcoin movements is restraining altcoins from pumping, also bitcoin dominance is high, until bitcoin dominance comes down and the price of bitcoin is stable that's when I see altcoins season to commence

It's still safe to say this.. Looking at how altcoins are still crawling, even some ain't moving at all.. So saying it's not their season yet is not wrong at all. In fact, it is apt as the reality of the moment.

At this stage it's hard to expect the altcoins to rise, we need the people to fully trust bitcoin and that they don't panic if it will dump so we will also see some love from investors putting money on altcoins. The thing is right now, people are just so reliant on bitcoin as they know it's the strongest coin and it has better future compared to altcoins based on its status now.
We really need some big market pump like a significant bull run to make bitcoin price break it's ATH and then good things will happen.
The problem with BTC breaking ATH, in the current environment, is that instead of raising the value of alts (like in the past), it just smushes them to like half their current value. Then if any alt season comes along, at best it would just gain a portion of BTC's rise. Also consider that the halvening isn't until next year, so even if BTC beats its ATH now, there is no saying that folks won't expect it to go up more.
What I think we need to see is BTC simply remain stable. If it sticks at 12Kish for a couple of months, which in my opinion is healthy for crypto overall, then I think alts might see some sort of alt season.
Right now the price movement for alts is pretty ridiculous... BTC goes up, alts fall. BTC goes down, alts fall. BTC goes up, down, back up again to where it originally was, alts fall each step of the way. It's like if a BTC holder sneezes, alts fall.

But the price will definitely rise because of the shining bitcoin prices in the crypto market, and there are so many predictions about the alts, but theirs no guarantee, prediction is just a prediction not sure about it.
In the longest waiting time, altcoin season will start in the next 4 to 5 weeks. You will have chance to check my forecast, in next 4 to 5 weeks, but you won't lose nothing by believe in my forecast by now. Just remind that belive in my forecast does not equal to do all in margin tradings, that are risky and you might lose all your funds in days to come, not weeks.

Bear season or bull season, investors should support coins or tokens that they think has potential in the market, especially in a bear market, because this is your only opportunity to buy coins at a much lower price, this is what the market means, buy low and sell high.
I don't believe that there is supposedly altcoin season. It depends on the user how he can strategize to gain profit from the altcoins he wants to trade with. But most of them are only for short-term gain as they are usually abandoned by respective developers when they got their share. So if you are waiting for their bull run, I doubt you will ever get profit from them.
It's very pathetic that it's only bitcoin that is skyrocketing daily. What's happens to other cryptocurrency? Does it mean that, there's no hope for them in bear market. The bull market shouldn't be for only bitcoin. It should also affect all the altcoin altogether
