What kind of a new flagship that you have talked it? altcoin is not yet going to the moon and bitcoin is getting the correction right now which can lead into the worst dump to make the price of bitcoin to go back again below 9k level.

You waited too long to miscalculate your days, because as I recall from mid 2017 to the end of 2017 all Altcoins experienced stable and good increases, and then in 2018 only all Altcoins experienced price declines and never went back up like in in 2017, now you try to count starting from 2018 until now, have you reached the three years in waiting for that, or maybe you haven't woken up at the time of 2017. A lot of altcoin still struggling in crypto world and I don't know if altcoin can perform the pump season without the help of bitcoin. It seems that there are few altcoin that can manage to pump without bitcoin increase. If BTC will perform well to upcoming month to go, well see another altcoin season. The increase of its demand will be more efficient and more investors will back to trust altcoin. Its very safe to trust for those altcoin that have related to real world rather than non-sense.
BTC is expected to rise. So the reason why altcoins MAY also rise up. There are few altcoins going up already but aren't recognized by many of us since its not really that popular. One that I saw recently is the Jarvis project because there had been good updates from the team. Lisk had already started the pumped too. Just few cents of climb though but I guess its substantial enough to see, some traders are already buying them.

How can you say that altcoins will go to the moon?Do you have any analysis that you can proof that altcoins will go to the moon this year?
I really think it will take a lot of time for altcoins to go to the moon because people are starting to sell their holdings due to the pandemic. Unlike bitcoin, even there is a pandemic, it still have a chance to improved it's price because of halving.

We will only believe it if you can show us at least 3 altcoins new altcoins that can make a new flagship on blockchain technology, I still believe Bitcoin and Ethereum are still our flagships and it will continue to be that way unless there are better alternatives than these two that the community is fully supporting.
I guess it will take more time for alts to go over the moon, right now the market looks very volatile. Due to this pandemic many of them are selling their asset which is a biggest drawback for the downfall.
At times alts were performing tremendously but now it goes up slowly and there is no significant increase as well, as far as I know most of the alts are dependent on BTC price. So expecting over moon is possible only if the price of BTC increases..

Afaik there's no mooning for both btc and altcoins this year, maybe by the following years to come but not now.
it does take time. even I feel that the increase is not even we realize. so far the price of altcoin has not even experienced a significant increase. Yes, only the coins and tokens which are based on a real world utility may find the growth and all others may get delisted very soon. I hope the wait of all of us will find an end very soon. I think people who are saying that altcoins follow the price movement of Bitcoin are wrong. There are altcoins that follow the price movement of Bitcoin, but it's not all of them that correlate. The level at which they correlate with BTC varies, some are around 90%, and there are others that are way less than 50%. So, it's not really all of them that are the same.There are times that Bitcoin will be falling and some of them will be going up, so they are not really the same. Altcoins that have a close price correlation with Bitcoin are mainly the top altcoins like Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash (BCH), XRP, Litecoin and the rest of them.
