You might not be actually far from the truth, buying altcoin now could be profitable because no one can actually tell what the future holds for crypto. Though my believe is that altcoin will only move more when there is an actual movement on bitcoin else I doubt the possibility of it yielding positively .

Bad development with altcoin make price down after listing on exchange market, we can't trust with altcoin have very terrible developer and team not serious about how to make their coin become exist on exchange market for long term, they always think for listing only whit shit exchange market and not care what happen later with their coin, have lower price or not.
