I got the Arb airdrop as well as the Sui , both are free money although it cost me a little money to be able to participate in it, right now I'm just waiting for some possible airdrops from Zksync and Layerzero including Linea, can't hurt to try anything out there to test the testnet network or mainnet on newly released blockchain network.

I don't think there is a thread discussing airdrops in this forum yet maybe it would be great to share airdrop information and a thread to discuss the upcoming airdrop so we can enjoy the rewards with the rest of the crypto community in this forum, but glad to hear you are also a part of both airdrops Arb and Sui, I hope there will be a big airdrop coming.  Wink

Haven't received any yet. I tried joining some of the airdrops with task such as testnet task but it seems I'm out of luck on the potential airdrop projects that I'm joining and now I'm just losing hope and is not motivated to join in the current airdrop projects. Also gas fees are ridiculously high on some task to be eligible for an airdrop and I'm contemplating if it is still worth it to give it a chance since it's I haven't received anything yet from my past airdrop participations. It seems that I need a little bit of luck on this trend and I'm half aware that my luck isn't that great.

Performing tasks in a test network is usually the first step to getting an airdrop, but in the future the project will also offer you to test the main network. So the tasks you have completed in the test network can serve as an additional bonus when distributing airdrop.

Before the arbitrum appeared, several other airdrops were quite successful such as Optimism, ENS, Dydx etc, that gave bigger returns.
Right now I'm still focusing on Zksync Era, Layer Zero, StarkNet and Sei.
Yes Ive got 1inch and dydx too. But not optimism and ens sadly I didnt active for that time for op possible drop. Ive had the same prospect but not sei network. I abandoned the task for that, but probably a good drop too. We dont know if they gonna gave us airdrop but we will see if the time has come and the claiming button is active again.

MAaaN...!! CUT THAT STUPID SHIT
even now many new platforms are starting to appear by providing three tesnet tasks for early adopters. I also did some tesnet tasks and they were free to do. It never hurts to try all the tesnets that are being launched.

I don't like the current airdrops. They asked for a lot of things that I didn't think were worth what they would give. I once did an Airdrop where they asked for my personal data and they asked for something like KYC on their website. Maybe there are some airdrops that are still worth working on but some that have approached me are airdrops that ask for a lot of personal data and I don't like it
right, I completely agree with you, the current airdrops require a lot of verification of documents lately, especially since the team and developers are not responsible and therefore personal old ones can fall into the wrong hands, at this stage, the airdrops are not very good and pay very small pennies, to be honest, not even want to participate in them

WTF are you talking about SUI 45 usd allow list. There is no such thing. If you want legit bounties go to zealy io. They have hundreds of projects there that reward you for performing simple tasks like liking tweets and joining a discord community.
Maybe I did knew cause I am bit fortunate to be lucky on the allowlist. Well hate to break to you, but Im also joining some of the zealy campaign but not all. Im very picky on which task or project to work on any campaign to gain free tokens. Im just sharing these from the past rewards Ive got. Dont worry if I have valuable tokens refeived from doing zealy, galxe, guild and some other platform will add to my list. As long as its worth it and not penny giveaways.

Some say airdrops retroactive arent profitable. Maybe for some its a waste of time but for others thats plenty of money already and could been helpful to their financial status in life. Im giving of my airdrops receive so far and hoping to gain with other protocols too.  Can you share yours?

*Arbitrum 1500 tokens (free)
*Sui Network 1500 tokens ($45 for joining allowlist at $0.03 per tokens)

I'll update the thread for the next drops that I would receive from doing testnet and retroactive tasks.

I've gotten tokens form Q Blockchain and there should be some coming from zkSync and Lamina1.

Unfortunately I missed both of them, because I was busy with my child who needed extra supervision, hopefully in the next retro I can receive gifts too, like you and the others

Yes there are some good airdrops but many of them are a waste of time, I signed up for a lot of them but got very little.
I missed out on some important airdrops that have skyrocketed in price, but in general I don't subscribe to many of them anymore.

The best airdrops were and will remain forever those made on Bitcointalk  between 2013 and 2017, now 99% are a great waste of time and sometimes even money. The few good airdrops today almost all go to whales.
there are some good ones but indeed airdrops in the past was always precious and have value, unlike nowadays many airdrops are just massive waste of time back then it was always good quality coins making an airdrop for the sake of promotion.

I really regret the airdrop opportunity to get Sui network tokens and Arbitrum tokens, I myself am too lazy to follow airdrop info, because most of my experience following airdrops ends up being mostly trash coins
that's one thing of following airdrops, so much shitcoin making an airdrop that the good ones are overshadowed, i was also too hesitant in following airdrops because most of them are outright shitcoins but the arbitrum airdrops was actually massive.

there are actually quite many good airdrops out there, nowadays airdrop doesn't always mean scam, prominently those that comes from big project that has been invested hundred millions by big venture capital most of them just outright giving good airdrops.

Which airdrops are you talking about? I don't see them around, many are small changeThe others you have to use their blokchain with your money to be eligible. I don't consider it an airdrop più a whitelist

This is the case for many crypto funs. But the topic of retro drops is not new. It has been going on for at least a couple of years. We don't remember previous retrodrops. Probably because not many people participated in them. And there was no faith that you can get allocations in WL or coins for some actions with money. But in fact, the retro drop is a cashback and the one who considered these moments was well enriched on time.

We just cannot help it. Unlike before, most of the airdrops are non-paying nowadays. But to those who do not have the capability to invest, they are left with no other option but to comply and try as many projects as possible. There are also other ways to earn such as targetting for whitelist spots and selling it to serious investors.

New airdrops I guess are thru binance launchpads which requires participants to comply with minimum staking and investing procedures. But as I've said, not all people in this industry has the ability to do so. There's just no easy way to earn profit anyway.

If you have done your task correctly i see no reason why you should not be eligible for past airdrop like arb, op, apt, spaceid, and so on. I don't know which among them you participated on but most people received a decent amount from the previous ones.
It is the same thing that happened with uni airdrop, only those who interact with the dex and spend money on gas were eligible, if you are not interacting and not ready to spend money on gas fees don't expect free money.

can't wait for other retroactive airdrops, many are saying that retroactive are difficult and sometime waste money but honestly if someone truly trying take advantage of the nature of the l2 and avoid ethereum high gas fee, they are already eligible for airdrop by simpling using the l2.

It would be fun to know about any hot ones and how to get them. I mean i tried to get ARB but i guess i didn't do enough to be eligible.
If you like to get on some airdrops. Then go to galxe campaign, zealy, or be active on twitter follow some airdrop guru and do the instruction they are posting. They do a step by step guide about these speculative airdrops. Some are on testnet and some are on mainnet. There are free and there are you need to spend some gas to interact with the protocol.
