As others have said, it's all about the projects, look at the rewards and what that translates to. There is a lot of crap out there but also some good. Chin up and good luck.

Not all are waste of time and energy,  make your own research before you venture into any bounty campaign

It's your fault actually and don't blame the ICO's you've participated, at first you should research/ checked the ICO's before joining in any bounty campaign. Grin Grin

It seems like this thread's statement is a bit far-fetched... Why would it be that way ? Don't you remember that Ethereum had a bounty campaign, too ? Or Litecoin. Or, Monero. Lisk. All of theses sucessful altcoins were just "shitcoin" a few years ago, with the usual signature campaign/bounty campaign.

I think that people are misinterpreting the fact that, nowadays, most of theses new altcoins are just ponzi schemes, or whatever the f*ck theses schemes are. So, if you end up in such a campaign, obviously you are wasting your time on it.

Altcoin bouty campaign, as a whole, is definitely not a waste. Some altcoins, however, are. You gotta do your homework, old man ! :p

A good idea is to first do a market research about any particular ICO before you actually join them.
Like read the terms and white papers.

Well it depends on what bounty you did and which campaign u did

I start off from a random bounty as i have no idea how it works and few things I've learnt here

#1 Never join Bounty Camp that is too HYPE and Overcrowd Participants
I joined before a campaign which have over 300-400 Sig Camp Participants, regardless if you join very early, the stakes will split within 400 people

#2 Be sure to get your stakes as max as you can
Always join and fulfil the requirement like 15 post/weekly, never missed out a week. 7 days only grant your stake once so never missed out

#3 Compare and evaluate
Never join any campaign in rush, always select few campaign, make comparison. Certain campaign paid higher stakes for the same Rank
you will need to calculate on
Total Reward in $$
Stakes that you would get in the end
Approximate value of this Bounty

You should be careful when choosing altcoins bounty campaigns because others is just a scam and doesn't even gain a value
Sometimes there is a project that actually didn't pay a lot of the attention to the ico participant and just raised a little amount and that will difficult to choose the project because there is a lot of the project in this time.

Yes I agree with you we should be more careful, because for now very much ico is a scam.
So u need read whitepaper carefully and also identification about develompment team.
And there is nothing to lose with you if you study carefully for the campaign you want to join for.

we can not distinguish which projects will be successful and which will fail the most important is you follow the bounty of a clear project.

Yes it's really hard though.
Many campaigns promises more than they can give, maybe to deceive more participants to join while in the end of the campaign they'll lessen the bounty pool and telling these and those.
Truly when it's too good to be true then we should be very careful in joining so our time will not be wasted.

There is altcoin campaigns that pays in bitcoin so if you prefer to have a stable income, you should consider to join those that offer bitcoin instead of alt coins. Do take note that alt coin are subject to high movement in price actions. They can rise in price and drop in price. But as we know, most of the ico are unable to sustain their ico price and it can drop as low as 1% of their ico price. So either you do your research and find the potential altcoin to have and hold, otherwise just go by the default which is payment in bitcoin campaign.

I agree with what everyone else in this thread is saying - you can't just jump into every ICO or bounty campaign just because it promises to give you coins. That's why you've got to make sure that you're getting your time and effort's worth - in compensation, and in what they require from you. That's why I really enjoy Deeponion's signature campaign. 10 posts of 50 characters a week is about the minimum of an active member in bitcointalk, plus I get a ton of onions every week so it's definitely worth it. Very lucky I found it this early on in the airdrop phase.

Don't just jump to any ICO because a bounty campaign is going, always do your research and join the profitable ones. There are plenty of them out there.

Recently i took part in couple of bounty campaigns, and i though i can earn some decent amount through it...but it was a total waste...i took part in targetcoin and coss ico campaign and after 2-3 months i recieved the bounty which is worth only about 8 USD including both Embarrassed it was just total waste of effort and time
Decide to choose your bounty wisely and look if there's so many big investors will enter that campaign because ICO is depends on the investors and how many funds they will invest, Signature bounty campaign have a biggest percentage reward on any bounty campaign better to join signature and Social Media campaigns are have just a little amount of reward, Try to analyze your Bounty program that you want before entering on it and check rewards or how many stakes they will give per post.

I think you have not apply for deeponion airdrop which is giving weekly above 500 coin to their participants and coin price is near about $1. you have a member rank and me also. you should apply for that bounty and earn weekly handsome coin value. i am getting every week my coin. if you will get approval from deeponion once, then you will not say next time waste of effort and time.

There are good signature campaigns bounties rewards. One can make a good amount of money/btc every month if you choose a good coin to promote. You have NEO as an example. Centra is also an ICO that might return a good investment of your time. We had many ICOs in the past months that have paid well. Just pick good ones.
