You must choose a bounty campaig that you know they pay you if 1 month doesnt pay you think first before you continue that bounty campaign coz some of them are scam they use bounty campaign for there personal purposes so you must check and uderstand carefully what are there posting and if you think that is waste dont join coz you know your self if worth it or not.

Altcoins bounty depends on what campaign you are joining. This is my first time in joining a campaign and i guess it's not a waste of time because i can still comply on the requirements they are giving me. Bitcoin is about the investment of your time into other matter's. So if you want to earn, you have to work hard for it. But you have to choose carefully on how you will spend that time and on what kind of campaign you will join.

To make money you should always aim properly first.
Small hint. Try to get to the bounties that pay fixed count of tokens per post/week Wink

I agree that aiming proper information can give us enough hint that the project will be gaining good results in the future. That token payment as promised of is the proof of what you can get from the altcoins bounty campaign, then there's nothing wrong with that and no waste of effort since the entire campaign is liable for any problems that may occur within the campaign period.

I too think the value of the tokens and the time involved in such bounty doesn't make up mostly as they even take much time after ICO to get listed on an exchange.

Altcoin campaigns and bounties are somewhat a lottery. You just can't pick only the good ones, however careful you are.
It's not only about how trustworthy are the campaign manager and the coin devs, it's about the coin itself. Some are successful, some not.
I am stuck with quite a number of altcoins, some with devs that seem well intended, however the coin was not the expected success.
Some are obviously scams or intentionally underpaid.
I also was part of successful campaigns, even with over 100$ earned in one campaign.

I don't agree that you are comparing it to a lottery, because it's not an investment that you are joining just to use your personal money but a chance to join in order to earn you acquire campaign tokens. Maybe its quite similar which you cannot really determine which good campaigns it is to join for, but you can determine it through trusted managers who really been doing good jobs for previous campaigns handled.

yes indeed. investing means, you trade you coin with other coins with a risk. keep it in mind there is a risk in every investment and there is always an opportunity or even bad things such as loss. its true when you want to invest in ico you need to know your ico well and you need to predict whether the ico is good or not, we need to do that to make sure that the risk is as minimal as possible.

They are not really. By the way if you have got 8$ then it's still money and that came free (almost).

You should manage your bounties and look for the potential one in first place. There is no point in investing your time on bounties who's project looks fishy and not worthy. You can always choose to enroll yourself for popular ICO and also do not waste your time on the small ICO projects who's tokens are to be paid in thousands and something like that. It's not worth really because these ICO loose value when they distribute that much tokens. Try reaching out for decent ICO with optimum token circulation for bounties. They have higher chances of getting valued.

You have to choose the right projects and you should do a research about the bounty pool and the whole project. Have a look at the dev and the team and their marketing.  And you should watch out for some longterm project, if you dont need to make some fast bucks with the signature campaigns.

I agree, you cannot judge all bounty campaigns because you were unlucky or didn't research enough in advance. Keep joining, it will be worth it!

You need to be very careful about which ones you choose and also do research on the bounty details!!!

For example my first bounty campaign as a newbie was unbelievably good. I was only in it for a week, I basically posted around 4 times and clocked up 29.7 of their tokens. A token was worth a dollar, not bad for 4 posts as a newbie!

The reason for the high pay rate, most people in the bounty campaign had opted for social media bounties or reddit etc, it left a large amount of stakes for very few people in the bitcoin talk side of the campaign

you must carefull choose ICO for bounty I has join 3 bounty
at 1 month
can earn around $500++
my advice see and learning your ICO that will drop or not for price Smiley

Fully agreed! When you are searching bounty you should choose only projects you are confident in. Just like if you are investor. Moreover when I checking for new bounty the reward rate should be pretty low (around 1% from overall contribution)... and this is just the first sign that particular bounty is not bad.

It's not that you should not try bounty campaigns anymore but choose the correct ones. Look at the rewards and convert them to usd/btc, see whether it's worth it or not. There are some bounties that pay 25 coins per week for signature campaign which seems like a lot, until you find out that 10000 coins is equivalent to 1 ETH and is totally not worth it at all. But there are other altcoin bounties that offer decent rates such as Wordcoin (20-40 usd a week they claim). If you still do not feel comfortable just rank up to full member and participate in those sweet sweet bitcoin campaigns that pay out decenr rates per week.

BTW do not worry about electroneum if you're participating in the Bitcoin campaign, they scrapped the altcoin campaign I think. The BTC one has decent rates.

I have never tried a bounty campains before, since my very first campaign is the one I use in my signature right now which is the Electroneum ICO. So this is a caution for me not to waste my time on bounty campaigns based on your experienced. And upon assessing your experienced, it is really not worth it to spend an amount of time for just a little value such as $8. Thanks for the warning, I've got an idea not to try bounty campaigns anymore.

Signature campaign is a powerful tool to promote and sell token on BCT! If you need evidence just look at Centra, Rivetz and many other successful ones. In selecting the best for yourself, you will not always get it right. You win some and lose some. That is how it is.

Well you should have read more about bounty campaigns. Bounty campaigns have a much higher risk of turning into a scam or just a failure, since it will depend on the success of the project(which also depends on a lot of other factors). Unlike bitcoin signature campaigns where you basically only have to make sure that the manager is trustworthy.

What I can suggest you is that Signature campaigns are better than altcoin bounty campaigns. Therefore you should work of good post quality and writing quality posts without spamming the forum.

If you want to join altcoin bounty then these are the following things I keep in mind: (though this set of rules is just a guideline)
1. A project that will be able to achieve a good status later on.
2. Worth investing in for potential investors so they can pay the bounty later on.
3. Trustworthy manager of campaign.
