The bitcoin's price affects this market too much. Since the drop from of BTC from 20k, we are in the downtrend of this market! For me, I usually buy the dip, there will be profit in the future anyway! Hope that the market will recover soon!

The only reason we see dips is bitcoin. Most of altcoins depends from bitcoin price. Unfortunately, from the beginning of 2018 the price of bitcoin falls more often than it grows, which is why we see such low prices. In this situation, the only thing we can do is wait
I think a lot of good altcoin we invest now, especially for us bitcoin, Ada, ltc, eth and Neo. for us is a nice investment that we hold for time long .
Most probably that some of the useless coins will disappear, depleted and delisted due to their lack of volume and capital and some of them will survive due to their blind followers but soon they will follow them, the majority of cryptocurrency price is bloodbath so the things that you need to do is identify those useless coins as soon as possible if you have any of them then sell to buy those cryptos worth holding then resist the crashes.

All my thoughts about this situation is plain and simple,this is the bearish market and all i need to do is keep patient and dont check the prices in market because this only brings bad mood and may brings to selling of coins
All you have to do is to hodl your altcoins if it is not necessary to sell it. Hodl them until its value increases. Be patient for a chance to have a bigger profit.
This is right time to buy altcoins. I do not think it will go more down, or if go, there will be small change. Compared to BTC, altcoins are 10, some are 15 times down to their original value, and when BTC raise, there will be very high return we can gain as compared to BTC.
If the price of bitcoin starts to rise from here, the price of all coins will increase rapidly. But if the price of bitcoin goes down once again, everything goes much worse.

Altcoins were going down because bitcoins prices are falling since the start of this year and most of the altcoin price just depends on the bitcoin so we will see the recovery on altcoin when we see the rise in bitcoin price.What we need to do now is just remember the volatility is just a normal in the crypto field so we have to keep patient and keep on holding to make profits from our investment.
Thanasis has it right. This is a continuing pattern. All coins are currently tethered to Bitcoins price. If Bitcoin goes up, so do Alts. If Bitcoin goes down, so does the market.
That being said, this space is very new and has many problems.
The first project that can start crossing milestones no other crypto can should detach itself from Bitcoin's value and be in a different category of its own.

Almost everyone having the same question the reason is no one want to see red market everyone want green market. Mostly alt coins depend on Bitcoin’s price & bitcoin still traveling to correction.what are the things we need to do?

So in this situation as we are looking market is red, selling of alt coins will not be a good decision, but we have to hold coins & can wait for a major pump.
I think we can do so when the market is too big for us to buy a coin that we know we will buy and hold and as for the losers in their altcoin we can just hold it for no we lose even when it drops just wait for the price to rise and then we sell it when the price is expensive

If you are holding top altcoins (in the first 50 on coinmarketcap), then just keep holding, they'll recover eventually. If you are losing the money from less popular projects then it is probably better to sell the coins for bitcoin, because it is still the most trusted thing on the market, even though the price is so bad. Your decision should depend on what you expect to happen in the nearest future. If you feel the coins will go down even more - you can simply sell everything for tether just to stabilize the current state of your funds without dealing with fiat money. we saw many negative news cisculating regarding cryptocurrencies like Indian banks' uncertainty, Bithumb hack, South Korea tax regulations, tether manipulation etc along with the required correction after last year pump.
I think there is a chance for these altcoins to go up as well. Best thing to do now would be to hodl. But if you have weak hands, you sell them and eventually sell for losses.
