The 5 altcoins I trusted in this bear season to invest are Ethereum, BNB, Solana, XRP and LTC and, I believe I will still achieve a good profits when the bull run occur and it will still give me another opportunity to be part of those that will achieve more in the future.
Am not against the altcoins you mentioned here as your choice, but try to involve all those altcoins I mentioned now and they have more population than other altcoins which are some of the signs to know that they are good in both long term investors and short term investors to achieve huge amount of money.

My most trusted alt coin is Ethereum(ETH), being the outstanding, most reliable with well established and well recognized digital currency in crypto landscape, due to its strong real life use case.. The collective value locked in various protocols created on its chain is currently exceeding $23 Billion which is strong indicator of high level of confidence investors place in Etherem.
Altcoins give the highest returns in the crypto market, where people invest most of the time. In this people invest money here hoping for high returns by investing only a small amount, but it is risky. We know that investing in altcoins is risky, at any time money can be lost and fall into losses. However, if you invest according to the ranking of the token on CoinMarketCap, you will surely expect to get high profits in the future and can be made. But as reliable coins I think ETH, BNB, ARB, XRP, SOL, etc.

Those 3 is what goes with my folio , though Arbitrum is just newly added as i have read good
post from other members here and yeah there are other currencies that stays in my collection and those are in the list
Ripple - with 10% of my holdings
Solana - another 10%
Polygon - also stays with 10%
and all the remaining is divided from bitcoin and those 3 on the top lists.
Diversification of altcoins is excellent step as thus invested capital gets more safety than invest with one or two altcoins except top potential altcoins. Apart from that, i only have eth and bnb in my portfolio. But your choices are similar to mine expect ApeCoin. I don’t know much. Well the answer is, if i can manage extra Capital then i would also invest cake, arb as well as polkadot, sol instead of ApeCoin
I think choosing the top altoin in the CMC ranking is a very wise choice to make at this time. Like Ethereum, BnB is of course highly recommended if it's not too late to also look at SOL, which might return to the 2021 situation they once did.If there will indeed be additional capital, I think what is said about ApeCoin is very reasonable to analyze first before actually placing it, but as I said above, the best ranking is highly recommended, but not spreading too much across many coins is highly recommended so that it is easy to control.
Your invested coin was great but I think that was your fault to sell BNB due to fear in lower price. I think one should overcome losses if he keep holding his coins for longer timing and BNB is the thirst largest successful coin and one cannot loss money through its investment with the fact if he knows the strategies to apply during harsh situations.
Etheruem and BNB are most trustworthy altcoins so don't loss hope due to such lower in price and make struggles to learn from these little mistakes but I don't think that BNB is not a good coin because many people have earned good sum from such investment.
It is a good strategy to hold a long time to meet your loss when the price is low, but the choice should be good for it, because on every coin you can't trust that coin can give you profit despite reducing the price.Binance has been in conflict with the SEC for a long time, which has caused people's confidence no longer maintained on the BNB coin. There are no use case of any exchange token.It's just a token of the exchange that can reduce your fees by holding. Also we can get free token while launching new token when we holding it.However, I do not consider any exchange token suitable for investment for long -term. Whenever the exchange has a problem, its token will be like FTT.

Out of these five alt coins you mentioned I invested in BNB Coin when it was above $420 but from there the market has gone down so much that I am losing a lot. Is cake and apecoin a coin meme? If yes then I suggest you that both are high risk coins and not worth investing in. It's like gambling. This is not financial advice but I have several times seen many people who jump on the hype train of meme coins but in the end they regret it because meme coins do not provide anything except community based price increases.
I agree with other than the two such as ETH BNB and Arbitrum but if we talk about coins that are still cheap then my choices are Celestia, XRP and ADA.

I’m not sure I have up to five. Anyways let me list the ones I have and their importance.
1.I’m holding BGB currently this is because of it utility, with BGB I’ve been able to participate in the Bitget Launchpad events which has given me a lot of profits over time. The token has also performed exceptional in the year 2023.
2. I’m holding BNB because I mostly use it as gas fee when buying tokens on cold wallets.
3. I’m holding ETH because of it utility in general base on the fact that most tokens are built on ETH network.
These are the 3 altcoins I’m holding for now, I don’t just want to hold a coin without utility.

So if you are holding your ETH for the long run I think that is a good choice as ETH is also considered a commodity like bitcoin claimed by the SEC. Bitcoin ETF approval is on the horizon and ETH spot application is something that no one is talking about and has big impact throughout the altcoin industry.

if you look at altcoin assets that can be trusted at this time. ETH and BNB are probably the strongest at the moment. they have a useful network and are growing in the market at a tremendous rate. Other assets that may follow them are SOL and ARB. they got an amazingly surprising market. but we still don't know how long they will develop and be able to compete with other altcoins on the market.

I know you are just looking for security in your long-term investment and don't switch to Altcoin investment, I also do the same as you, preferring those that really have strength in terms of price and not other or new Altcoins, because that will make things difficult. In the future, long-term investments must focus on just one coin. If you have a lot of investments, it will be difficult to control all of them.
Pepe had been one of my best projects and I hope everyone will take there own decisions too to look for similar projects too to invest in without much delay on what to buy and sell.
