what opinion do you want to hear? We all can see how the market is playing out and can only wait for altcoins to follow suit. Also ethereum and some altcoins are doing good alongside the bitcoin bullish market

ETH cant jump to 900 or 1000 by itself, i mean locally, only ETH. If it jumps to 1k, Bitcoin must be somewhere in 30k level

So not a big deal, your friens make right choice, it is not so risky and can bring them profit!

Bitcoin and altcoins have always been like that, maybe in December 2017 everyone thinks altcoins followed bitcoin and they all went up but check the summer of 2017, while the bitcoin cash was created and the original hard fork happened the altcoins went down while bitcoin went up because everyone wanted to have some bitcoins and they wanted to see if they could make some money from the bitcoin cash hard fork (free bitcoin cash for everyone) which is why I personally think that altcoins usually goes down when bitcoin is going up but if you check the maximum and break the all time high then people realize they need to move their cash to altcoins in order to make new highs, if bitcoin goes to a level where it can't move any higher than altcoins will start to have their own huge rally as well.

Well, if you see now almost all of altcoins price going red, only bitcoin and eth is green.
With this, i know that most holders are selling their altcoins to buying some btc or eth.
btc is the best coin in cryptocurrency, so nothing wrong to selling some altcoins for bitcoin.

This happen commonly, it's the way the market behaves and if you're wise enough then probably you already know what to do. Just to make things simple, should only focus on few coins so that you can handle things without being pressured.

Exactly! It's much better to handle few coins that have sure potentials than to hold a lot coins which can only give you more pressures. ETH is still profitable at this moment but we cannot expect it to be as much as profitable than bitcoin knowing bitcoin is still in the topmost position in crypto.

I also know a lot of friends who have sold almost all their altcoins to buy bitcoin because of the unprecedented bull run of bitcoin. But I think there is no need to sell all your altcoins since it will not be at where it is forever. It is better to spread your investment.

This happen commonly, it's the way the market behaves and if you're wise enough then probably you already know what to do. Just to make things simple, should only focus on few coins so that you can handle things without being pressured.

Just some few hours ago, the Bitcoin likely faces the small bullrun, it really increases very highly. But now, it is decreasing again.
However, for some altcoins, it is quite different. Only some altcoins can follow the successful increase of the Bitcoin and now, especially the Ethereum and BNB.

Diversification will be the best choice for those dead coins, it is no sense if we keep holding with them better to sell it even we only get a small amount.
This is what I did before and it actually works, and besides, it helps to increase my funds.
It could be best if he sells it earlier and invests in Bitcoin before bull run cause he actually is profiting by now.

I have crypto friends who sell their altcoins to buy bitcoin because they think its the best decision to do now. Bitcoin is increasing while altcoins are not, there are some coins who managed to increase but still far from the progress of bitcoin.

IMO buying bitcoin might be a good decision but I wont sacrifice my altcoins just to buy btc, instead I will buy using my own capital if I have any. There's a perfect time to sell my altcoins so I will wait for that time.

With drops like the current one going on with Bitcoin people tend to sell there alts for way under market value so it could be interesting to buy back now if they didnt.

Bitcoin is always the reference point when you talk about cryptocurrencies. No wonder, when it is doing good in the market, everyone notices. And hoping that other alts will follow the fate. But yes, only few altcoins are deserving to follow such trend because a lot of them were created for the sole purpose of the dev team's profits. We all hope that this btc market performance is a continuous development.

I honestly wish only deserving cryptocurrencies move up in price. Bitcoin, and very few altcoins deserve to move up. There is nothing interesting about majority of the coins today.
Price increase should be an incentive for good project.

I don't think that altcoins are going to start regaining momentum any time soon. It is quite clear that this new bull run is almost entirely entered around Bitcoin, with nearby altcoins just receiving some spillover gains.

If you're expecting ETH to reach its all-time high before Bitcoin, then you are likely to be disappointed. Bitcoin's dominance is currently hovering around 63%, or around double what it was during the 2017 bull run. Based on this fact alone, we can see that Bitcoin is gaining value twice as fast as the market as a whole.

Because of this, unless you're able to spot the outlier, your best bet is BTC.
