I think it is a mistake that we tie the survival of these coins to the two coins as they have no business with them, majority of these coins when they were released came with the promise of having a good working product that people will like and be using from time to time, which is what should always create demand for them.

The more that people request for their product, they demand for their coin to purchase it and thereby making the value of the coin to grow, but instead, all of them are just working like Ponzi scheme, where they create a system that will take money from A to pay B and vice versa and at the end, when they can no longer do that, they close down, I think these coins needs to really stand on their own and stop creating ideas that will invite users to them again.

Uptrend no longer occurs in the last 2 years and indeed during this period, all altcoins tend to decrease more. I think we will have to face the bear market for a few more years because until now there hasn't been any signs of price increases yet and 2019 could be a bad year for everyone. I predict that the bear market will truly end in 2022 and we will have to wait for another trend to emerge.

Of course, we will not know what will happen and if want the market to look like 2017, we need to be more patient.

Well if you mean the Old ICO tokens who already died then provably there's no way for them to pump up since I'm sure that there's no people will throw there money on that bad investment, but for the IEO coins(Binance listed IEO tokens/coins)? provably they will soar high once the market trend will go up so might best to stock some and let see how future goes.

You can't determine effect from the conclusion. You are saying ALT will go up when BTC dominance will decrease below 50%. That doesn't mean anything. BTC Dominance below 50% is conclusion, not effect.
So for both alt coins to go up and btc dominance to come below 50%, we need some market movements.

lol even ethereum price is relying in Bitcoin so theres no need to add that altcoin above,and even how many times we heard about that said growth still nothing will give us precise answer about when till this be happen

Alts do look under-priced against Bitcoin when we consider historic levels. Does this mean that they were too high and are now correctly priced? Or does it mean that they were correctly priced and are now too low? Personally I think it's somewhere in the middle, they were somewhat over-priced and are now somewhat under-priced. I say this mainly because the market has a tendency to overshoot in both directions. A huge price rise is always followed by a bit of a pullback, and the same for huge drops, usually followed by a bit of a recovery.

Based on this then, I would say alts should experience a price rise vs Bitcoin fairly soon, although how pronounced that rise might be is a different question.

I don't see altcoins go moon anytime from now and in fact, only legit and great altcoins will prevail out of hundreds that are out there. I've seen so many projects that had successful funding but are not even making any marketing efforts to please the investors. They should focus on delivering what they promised on their roadmap and let people have the project be developed for crypto. From writing articles, developing dApps and more. Anything that can help take the project to the next level.

Though we can never tell when altseason will begin since everyone is still dependent on BTC's value rise or drop, but as long as these altcoins do their part, they should shine at their own time.

there no guarantee with the market analysis or price predicts because people are doing it based on the collected and opinions. One thing we know for sure will happen which is the altcoin market recovery sooner or later. It's only a matter of time, one day the altcoins too will recover just like bitcoin did.

I think that now you can not compare today's market with the 2017 market. in 2017, the market was not strong, but it was just full of excitement. Now we are developing technology and waiting for the arrival of new investors

That would make 99.9% of the forum people fools or dumbsters, I guess.

I'll happily admit I was definitely a fool in 2017, invested in my share of ICOs and was fooled by the seemingly really good development and ideas in the whitepaper and the way they actually sounded so down to earth. I even bought in some alts at 50% of ATH in 2017, also thinking they would for sure recover.

Now I know better and only stick to the coins I truly love, and truly use. Guess everyone needs to learn their own mistakes.

It's better not to expect anymore and accept a possible loses as it could go that way.
With the way the market is moving now, it's not impossible that small cap project will be dead soon, as the new projects are also challenging the old ones.
Now, it only depends on how people or investors are gonna take it, if they believe on altcoins we shall see a decrease of dominance of BTC which would give them a space to grow.

Alter coins lol,.. anyway, I agree with you that the price of alts will increase at these months, December and January, but except shit coins. Just hold potential altcoins like BNB, ETH and LTC profit for sure in the future.

I have posted this many times in the past. Cryptocurrency is very different from other forms of investment such as real estate and stocks and therefore the past price movements can't be used to predict the future exchange rates. To predict the future price movement of altcoins, first you need to study why they lost their value recently. One of the main reason was the destruction of the ICO market. Another reason was the revelation that many of the projects were scams. The delay in the development work was another reason that had a negative impact on the exchange rates. So in order for the altcoins to make a comeback, all these issues must be resolved. And unfortunately, I am not seeing any signs of that. So my prediction is that while the altcoins may witness a few temporary spikes every now and then, in the long term they will continue to go down.
