Altcoin is behind Bitcoin. It always has been. But sometimes growth is delayed and starts a little later. I think that this coin will be much more expensive this year.
If you compare alteoins to bitcoins as a whole, then of course, altcoirs surpass it at times because bitcoin cannot change much, but altcoins do the opposite, and here you can observe the biggest advantage, what you can do on altcoins good profit for a small deposit
I want to know that which will be more profitable in future BTC or alts? Though i am a die heart fan of BTC but for now i think alts will be more profitable than BTC. So what's your opinion? Comment please.
altcoins are always more profitable than BTC. but more risky at the same time!you could double the balance in 1 night, but it could down to a half too.
but anyway, people just use btc as a intermediate currency to trade alts
Finding a coin much more profitable than bitcoin is gonna be a hard task for anyone, If bitcoin wasn't the most profitable coin in the market then we would have another coin with a much bigger hashrate and of course a higher price than bitcoin. You need to think of it this way, If any altcoin/sh*tcoin is better and more profitable than bitcoin then you should know it's name already.
No one can predict future price of the BTC and Altcoins correctly in this kind of conditions of the market. To be on the safer side invest more in BTC and also if you have extra money for investment than and than go with altcoins, just diversify your cryptocurrency portfolio. Invest in blockchain and exchange based projects only as this kind of token have potential to give higher ROI for long-term investment.

bitcoin or altcoin in my opinion are the same for future investments, the difference between the two is depending on the amount of funds we have, if you have small funds you better invest in altcoins that are cheap, btc is an expensive coin and you need big funds to get lots of profit
What you mean by more profitable? You mean trading? Or holding? Or mining? Or what?
If trading, then you can not really know because you should trade BTC as the main pair with other coins.
If holding, then BTC is much safer than any other coin but Altcoins have a chance to +%ROI higher.
If mining, then you cannot compare BTC vs all others coins because each coin is different than the others some coins are less profitable than BTC and some others are higher profitable.

altcoins have smaller daily trade volume and the price is a lot easier to pump/dump compared to bitcoin. that's why many pump/dump group are getting lots of income from doing this from time to time. bitcoins, on the other hand, are too big volume that one group can't alter much the price of bitcoin. to sum up, bitcoin offers more stable growth but not so much percentage. altcoins are risky but you can earn more or loss more.
You need to analyze the information thoroughly before investing in any penny. From time to time, we should choose BTC or altcoin.

Some altcoins gave lot much profits when compared to bitcoin in 2017 but it is not an easy task to find which will be that coins so if someone have lot of knowledge about cryptos and how to find the potential coins then they should invest on altcoins but I suggest bitcoin for the people who are new to the cryptos because altcoins will be involved with much risky when compared to bitcoin.

Depends on what kind of alt coins you are investing on. There are altcoins that will give you massive quick profits, but those are riskiest ones. You might end up losing everything you have invested on. Those are the coins that are out there for few days for pumping and dumping. On other hand, bitcoin will give you steady profit in the long run and is more risk free than altcoins when investing. So its your call. 
There are thousands of altcoin but one bitcoin. Bitcoin will follow a known path according to it's history and trend but you can not pin point any altcoin that will follow a specified or known trend. Although, when altcoin rises, they usually do better than bitcoin.

Surely alts will be more profitable than btc. If you look coinmarketcap and look some altcoins charts you can see that but same time alts have some huge risks.
If you can choose the right one and if you will decide to sell your alt in right place you definetly earn more money from alts more than btc.
Altcoins and Bitcoin i would recommend investing in Bitcoin over Altcoins at this point. By Bitcoin cheap and potential Altcoins and Altcoins while Altcoins are heavily dependent on Bitcoin.
I earned BTC because of Altcoins. I can say that there is no answer to your question, it depends on how you will handle the coins for yourself.

if for a long time, I think Bitcoin will be more profitable than Altcoins, but for the short term, I would choose Altcoin that has a good plan on their roadmap Bitcoin will not die and it will be as before at 1 place, but there will be such altcoins that will also exist, just for now it’s not clear who will be the leader

currently there are many more sophisticated innovations and technologies than bitcoin, but when compared to it will still be superior bitcoin especially bitcoin has been very binding on the market. but maybe if there are many altcoins that have been running according to their function they will be able to compete with bitcoin. yes, that is the possibility
in terms of profitability altcoin is more profitable than bitcoin when the bull market comes but in terms of the risk of bitcoin is safer because he remains king of Altcoin in price
It will be a good plan if Bitcoin becomes the main choice, after that it will only talk about the potential of altcoin. Don't you already know that bitcoin has proven to be the king of cryptocurrency? That's the answer that you might still be able to make a consideration between Bitcoin and Altcoin.
