If a person wants to learn something,  asking questions doesn't means he is fool,  even it is better for him and for the other users ,  even if he is asking question in bitcoinTalk,  then it also helps the person who asks the question and also other users who have problem in the same situation. And also,  he have something more to learn. Sometimes, a person knows a little about something,  but he asks question and here in the forum if different people from different countries gives his own ideas and the person learn a lot of things from his ideas.

Talking about these aspects asks more questions in these forum if you have a problem,  but the question should be accurate,  I hope you will get better reply according to your posts here.

There is no harm in trying. Here in this forum, we can freely ask questions about certain topics that we are not yet familiar. Users here are friendly and kind enough to share their insights about the topic. So do not be afraid.

But, if you want to learn independently, you can do your research by your own self. Try to visit and explore different channels in this forum, because you will really gain a lot.

And again, if you need a hand, do not hesitate to ask!

It's more than foolish if you don't read, search to find answers before you ask questions.

If you always ask questions without your due diligent research, it's foolish because I am doubtful you will read any replies on your questions. Being lazy enough to not search that is enough to don't read any reply.

The thread Newbies - Read before posting is for lazy members who don't search but always ask.

Asking questions is convenient but most of us forget to do our own search since asking questions will let others do the task for us.  I am not against asking questions but we should at least do our best to search and research for answers.  It is way better to ask questions to verify if our found knowledge is a fact or a myth than asking questions and letting others do the research for us. Letting others do the task for us is plain laziness.

Sadly in this forum, many are too lazy to search for an answer and yes, the worst thing is they don't even bother reading replies. Making a fool of the person who genuinely trying to provide an answer to the person's querry.
I really agree with you, before choosing to ask other people, it would be better for us to look for answers to the questions we have, because it could be that the person who answers the questions we give just answers casually and not based on their knowledge and this will certainly make us wrong in finding the answer to our question, but if we have found out for ourselves about the question we have then we can compare it with the answer we got from the person we asked.
I think those who have lied to other people with the answers they give are a very bad example for anyone. You are right in looking for answers to the questions we have. It would be better for us to try it ourselves first and then compare it with the answers we get from other people.

BTC, a coin of today and tomorrow.
As newbies, we are eager to know it all so we can bevmasters in no distant time. At this point, asking questions becomes an option if we must succeed.

No one knows it all whether newbie or not. We learn everyday. To succeed in life, we must stoop to conquer. Make enquiries when you are not certain about a particular thing. Ask questions to be clarified on issues you find confusing
We need not rely on asking questions only to learn. We do researches on our own too.  Navigate through the forum and read previous posts from members. By doing this, you would have answered your questions and even gain more knowledge.  It will even save you the stress of being criticized ( this should not be a reason for not asking questions though). Be a fool to learn. It's the results we are interested in.

I became active in the forum last month and at first, it was difficult to understand how so many things work here.

I read many threads and they were helpful but they weren't  detailed enough to give me the information I needed.

Then I decided to become open and make a post expressing my current problems in the forum. I had my fears but then, I just wanted to learn so I posted this https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.62881324

Although I initially received loads of criticism and of course some useful information, someone dropped a link to an article that gave me an insane guide on key fundamental topics like

1. Accounts: This covers almost everything you need to know about creating and securing your account.
2. Address:
3. Airdrops
4. Altcoins
5. Authentication
6. Bitcoin
7. Blockchain
8. Books
And lots of information I never imagined I could get from one particular place.

I recommend that every newbie or someone who is really in need of quality information should go through this
 https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--5364418

It is a library of information that you can't exhaust and remain the same.

Ask question questions and never despise the days of your little beginning. Every great person started as a newbie so enjoy the learning process.

The forum is educative and at the same time informative.
Always ask questions on subjects you don’t have a good knowledge on, especially here in the forum, don’t be afraid of backlash, because they are the ingredients you need to enable you grow.
I’ve learned things that were ordinarily too complex for my understanding, here in these forum with ease.

It’s also of self help when you painstakingly go through those links shared by forum members on questions you’ve asked, reading it yourself gives you an in-depth understanding of the question you’ve asked, sometimes better than explanation somebody is trying to give you.

Asking a question is nothing bad, no matter how foolish the question might be, but never make it look so foolish and meaningless. If you surely ask a sincere question, despite the criticism you will receive on that topic, you will still have others that provide an answer to whatever your question is about. Although questions don't mostly get deleted by moderators, unless some spamy threads that get reported and deleted by moderators.

Some times during my newbie days on the forum, I got stunning replies that warranted me digging into a repotuble member's profile, and I did see a few questions that they also asked that were really nothing serious to ask about.

Yeah you're right.
Just ask auestion and be free when doing so because the forum is a gree space and community  where we all have equal rights of communication.
In my few months of stay here, I've come to realize that alot of users think and see the forum as a very strict place which isn't really true as it is more of a fair community  where everyone is given equal chances of growth.

Adding to all you've said op, I want to advice the newbies to rather spend more time on reading more post and user threads than wanting to make more post because it is from reading more quality post that would end to more meaningful and quality post engagement and no one should ever feel discouraged no matter the about of criticism they get but rather build on those criticisms.

I side with you on this, notwithstanding the local saying where I come from that a man who asks questions seldomly misses his way. I believe not all puzzles are meant to be asked in questions before they're solved. Some are solvable within seconds if we looked hard enough without looking unsettled. What I've come to find here is that some of these new ones coming in here hardly take the timeout to peruse this place before jumping to ask questions which in most cases had already been asked and right up there in their face.

In fact, asking lots of questions can foster critical thinking, increase insight and other knowledge. So don't be embarrassed to ask, asking lots of questions won't make you look stupid. We need lots of people to "ask lots of questions" in a positive context, especially what we don't know yet. However, unfortunately, most beginners tend to like to ask questions directly by creating new theories without first using the search button that has been prepared on this forum.

In fact, with the search button, everything we want to search for is available more practically and more easily. The most important thing you have to have in this forum is to read a lot because without that it will be difficult for you to develop in this forum.

Everyone started from having no knowledge up to learning and then becoming masters to what they do. And for newbies, do not be shy to ask about new things that you've just read and heard. Even those that have been here for long, still asks questions. It's just free and there's no need to think that it's bad to ask questions unless it's literally a foolish question that's just mocking or hurting someone else. There could be some feelings that you guys feel when you asks questions and then you're answered impolitely. Don't make that ruin yourselves and still ask questions politely and just go straight forward as you just want to learn something new and ask valid questions.
Someone will give knowledge about something and someone will accept it. It is very important to ask questions for acquire knowledge. Those who can questions can learn. I think those who are curious ask more questions. But the questioner must follow certain things. If one decides to ask a question about a subject, he must try to find out whether anyone has asked the question or has any answer. When he wants to know something for better understanding then definitely he can asked his question. But keep in mind that it gets boring when the same question is asked again and again. In that direction, the questioner must acquire sufficient prudence.

There is no shame in accepting that I lack something or don't know it better. Feel free to ask questions, and someone will always clear up your confusion. This forum is filled with knowledgeable people. Not just crypto, but all types, like technology, finance, hardware, software, and so on. You just name it, and you'll find it. Just keep one thing in mind: there are many similar topics already created, so before creating one, try to search the forum for it. If you do find a similar topic and you think I should create one again with more information to extend the topic, why not?! We always need these kinds of people. As for me, I also do this when I'm in confusion. There will always be people who criticize you and those who praise you. Never take their criticism to heart.

I know that the members of the forum are not all educated people who like reading rather than asking questions. There's nothing wrong with asking, maybe a beginner will seem normal when asking basic questions regarding the system or working mechanism of the forum. such as how to quote or use a forum search engine.

I hope the many criticisms given to new members don't make them despair. but it actually motivates them to increase their knowledge regarding forums or other topics.

Asking question is the best as long as you are new to a place because your common sense wouldn't let you know that you can get some information that you are bothered about by yourself. Especially to a forum like this that is very wide with different boards and discussion. This is why I wouldn't blame newbies that ask same old questions the moment that they register here in the forum. It is only people that are used to search engines in other platforms that when they come to this forum for the first time that might immediately use the search engine as they dee it. I never thought of the search engine when I newly came to the forum but as time passes on, I got to understand that it makes me get answers to whatever question I seek answer for.

We don't need to be silent about what we don't know; it is better if we ask questions about what we lack knowledge about. Being silent will never give someone a fast way to learn. If someone really wants to learn, they need to forget about the criticism they will receive from different people. People can't do without criticizing because someone must do one or two stupid things when someone is seeking knowledge. As a newbie, I don't see any question that is too small or too big to ask concerning the knowledge that person is seeking for.So I advise newbies to never be shy about asking any type of question they have, because that can be an easier way for them to learn fast.

Maybe you're a newbie and all you could think of is investing your money on any crypto projects and thought about everything will be alright, then that's a mistake because it's like you having a fire on the mountain, there are memecoins we should stay off clear, when we are a beginner, it is mostly advised that we invest on bitcoin only, in other to allow us not to fall into the den of scammers through their shitcoins projects.

Newbies are always in a haste to invest whenever they hear or see any project and they Fail to do their own research as to know more on the project they are about making investment on. I have h as d this experience where I am always in a haste to invest in projects without doingy own proper research and upon doing that, be they run away or rug pull with investors funds without any tangible reasons and in most cases no one hears from team again. I have lost capitals to that effect. Everw since then I started taking my time to do my own research and basically I prefer Bitcoin over other investments. I think newbies should consider investing in Bitcoin so as to be protected compared to other shit coins.

“Ask" and “question" are the most reoccurring words in the comment section. Which shows how important it is to ask about things you don't understand in the bitcoin community. Members don't take any good question as foolish. Newbies who get bad responses, most a times asked again an answered question. When reading bitcoin articles I send questions on google and get answers that lead me to this forum. The forum contains lots of answered bitcoin related questions, I noticed. If you don't want to feel foolish, look it up on google, not on bitcoin talk. Google will direct you, to a thread that answers your question in bitcointalk forum. In searches where the preferred answers are not found here, then you can ask the forum and they'll rarely criticize your post, as it serves a good purpose. Yet newbies fail to notice this, and rush to ask questions with no prior research, whether it has been asked. That's why we still see thread where the Op might feel foolish. Causing a decrease in the forum activities of the newbie. He'll have a million and one reason not to ask questions again. Hence, dropping them to the non active member crew. This thread, which I love, will help newbies like myself to summon the courage to keep asking questions and participating in the forum despite what we feel from the criticisms of our previous mistakes. Soon we'll learn and make lesser mistake, as such.

It is true that questions of inquiries does not make one a fool but rather, it expands the knowledge of the person asking to gain more idea on what they are curious about. When you ask question, there is always a high percentage that you learn from what you ask because asking is part of the educational process that involves one learning by asking question and it is imperative to know that you will only know what you have no idea about only when you ask question.

So therefore question is very important and a vital role in education and learning process. No matter how irrelevant it is, there must always be an information one would get from that question asked no matter  how stupid or irrelevant it is. Do not forget many people reasoning and perspective are not the same. One single individual must pick something from that question to learn from based on the response gotten. No question is a waste of time.

You really have to ask questions about things that you do not know or are aware of It is not for your own benefit but for others who faced or have the same questions or will encounter these questions many will benefit and that includes higher rank if we're not going to ask anything there is no discussion on topics.
More so on forums so even if the question is nonsense but if it leads to a good discussion it's better to ask it and just ignore those who question your intention to as that question.
