Yes in deed as a christian, christ like and christ followers and we are surposed to have every things in as a redemmed child of God,as bible said.so my question is that why are christian still poor, when the bible says christ was rich and for our sake he was made poor that we should be rich, then why are there still poor christians,to the exstent of cross carpeting to muslims.i think we the so call christians are the problem,1 the knowledge of the scripture is not there that is why they know not how to enter the city.
This is just a simple logic because the Bible says my people perish because of lack of knowledge, it is knowledge Christians need not spiritualism. This same Bible says give and shall be given unto you, it is not just giving what is the motive behind the giving and how sacrificial it is.

The point is, if you are a Christian, then you are not poor, even if you are a slave.

If you are a Spirit-filled Christian, you are richer,  yet.

If you are a Word of God filled Christian, your wealth is not only Christian wealth, but also every form of wealth you want or need, if you remember and use one thing... “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God,’” - Matthew 4:4 - https://biblehub.com/matthew/4-4.htm.

If you remember that one thing, and fill yourself on God's Word (the Bible), you will be able to use all the promises/words of God to build (let God build) all the wealth for yourself that you want.

BUT... as Jesus says, "It is harder for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven than for a camel to go through the eye of a needle." So, focus on where your wealth truly is, and don't let earthly wealth drag you away from true riches, even when you get the earthly wealth.

Rather, use earthly wealth to make friends of earthly people, thereby causing them to be saved through your friendly 'preaching', so that when your earthly wealth is gone, they will welcome you into everlasting dwellings.

The problem most Christians are having today they believe Jesus Christ will come from heaven and give them everything they want which is very wrong and how can never happen. People are not doing the right thing, God has blessed man and has given man everything man needs on Earth so it is left for man to think of what to do that will bring money, God cannot bring money from heaven to give man. Things we are asking from God God has already provided them. I think we need to go back to the government for them to do the needful we have nothing to blame God for.

The issue of wealth and its relationship to Christianity is a complex and often misunderstood topic within the context of the church. It is not simply a matter of holding a position that being Christian automatically guarantees riches. Instead, it involves cultivating a particular mindset, developing right habits, and being open to recognizing and seizing opportunities when they arise.

I don't understand if this is a legitimate question but as per observation, you're right. But having status in society won't really matter if you're a Christian or any other. It depends on the living of these people and what if the ones that you've seen were just starting their lives to get up but it's not yet visible because they're not showy? There are non religious people that have the same living so, it doesn't mean that because they don't believe in anything, that makes their life struggling.

^^^ Money is an invention of man, not of God. To make money, learn the way that money works, and you will see how to get it. But, don't do wrong or harm people in  your getting of money.

Try to make something without having anything to start with. Make a brick without having any natural materials at all to start with. Or, make a drop of water from nothing. We can't do this. Only God can.

If a person loses an arm in a car accident, and it is so mangled that the doctors can't replace it, where will he get another am to replace it? If he gets a mechanical arm and hand, it will never be as good as the first one. He can spend a billion dollars and still not get an arm that is as good as the first one.

How much did he pay for that first arm, the original, natural one? Nothing! Sure, he might have exercised it and made it strong, but it cost him nothing... and it was the best one.

We get our whole body, mind and spirit for free. We get it for free, from God, because that's the way He set things up. We get access to this whole world that God made, for free through our bodies that God gave us for free.

We need to understand what wealth really is, and where it comes from. If we didn't have the free wealth-things from God, there is no way we could ever have a shot at getting money.

Been a Christian or rather any religion is not a guarantee to wealth, else every one will be rich, we have rich and poor Christians, like wise rich and poor Muslims too,
As a religious person you still need to hustle and work hard for money, money doesn't fall from heaven, when working hard too try to pray too,
Wealth is not all about religion...

If a person believes in God, He is believing in Jesus with or without knowing it. If he believes that Jesus isn't God with the Father and the Holy Spirit, he is believing in an idol as though it were God. No two ways about it.

Take your pick. Either a believer in God is a Christian and knows it, or he is a Christian and doesn't realize that he is, or he is an idol worshiper but not a God worshiper.

So can someone believe in an idol as God, but not believe that idol is Jesus? Why not call that idol a God and just classify that person a a "God" worshiper?

One of the religious dichotomies that I've always questioned is how the monotheistic religions can reconcile many billions of believing in a different god than their own, and being as sure of that belief as themselves. I suppose with polytheism there's a bit more room for congruence than some other religions.

As a Christian, you would need to accept that the billions of Muslims are incorrect in their beliefs and worshipping a deity that's nonexistent, surely.

People can think that an idol is God, and they can believe it. But we all know that we have believed things that we were mistaken about... just as an idol believer is mistaken to think that the idol is God. Why call an idol God when it is a mistake?

Our believing of something isn't strong enough to make it real. Only reality is what is real. If our religion believes what is real, then it is religion that recognizes God and Who He is. If people are tolerant of other people who have different religions, there is reason for it. The Christian reason - although many Christians don't understand this - is so that there can be enough peace among people that as many as possible can come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved.

Are there billions of Muslims? Just as many so-called Christians don't believe in Jesus-salvation, even so most Muslims barely understand Islam enough to really know what they are part of. However, if they don't believe that Jesus is NOT God, but simply never had the question presented to them, and believe in God as God, their salvation is in the hands of the Holy Spirit. We can't judge the heart. They might be believing in Jesus as God without realizing it (big idea here, with lots of cross-thinking among scholars and Christian scholars).

It is better by far that people understand that Jesus is God - One God made up of 3 Persons Who are Each fully God, yet only One altogether. A close way to understanding this is to look a corporation that has board members. Each member is fully acting for and as the corporation when he does his assigned work in the corporation. He IS the corporation regarding what he does... provided he doesn't break the corporate rules.

The points you listed are not coherent. Not a single wealthy person makes their riches from being religious. You have to work for every single penny you make because Jesus himself will not come down to drop money into pocket

Being a religious person is not by face or mouth, it has to do with the real practice of what the religious beliefs says, many are just a figure head and are just following the crowd without doing the main practice, it's what deals with lifestyle and patterned way of life, if you're doing something over time and have no results to show for it, then it's high time to change the way of approach in doing it and check yourself.

Everyone has their own way of being religious and their understanding of how to practice their religious rituals. There is no specific model that all followers of a particular religion must follow, especially with regard to beliefs, since they participate in the application of worship, such as visiting the church for Christians or praying five times a day for Muslims.

OP represents one of those differences that are normal to have between one Christian and another. As evidence of this, not all Christians share the same point of view with him. And he thinks, according to his belief, that all Christians should be rich, since Christ sacrificed his wealth in order to achieve this, without taking into account the objective circumstances and personal choices of each Christian, which are the real responsibility for being poor and not for a defect in Christianity or because they are not religious enough to become wealthy.

With this belief, it leads us to conclude that any poor person is not a believer in Christ, and this is the reason for his poverty, because every Christian believer must be rich. Or that there are actually errors in the beliefs that he believes in.

Believers are Christians because they Believe in God, because Jesus Christ is God along with His Father and the Holy Spirit.

Formal religions are simply people coming together to clarify what they believe about God and how His Word applies to their life. They also form religions to strengthen each other in times of trials and troubles. Even religions that don't believe in God are there so that the people learn how to live together better.

Faith without works is dead as James says. But that is true in everything in life. People don't do things when they don't believe that there will be a result. But when they believe something, they automatically do what they believe.

Romans 14:23:
But whoever has doubts is condemned if they eat, because their eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin. [my emphasis]

While it is true that some people partake of a religion, yet don't believe, most people believe in the things of their religion. If their religion is a Christian religion, they believe in Jesus Christ. Some of the things they believe about Jesus are probably incorrect, but other things are correct. Nobody knows everything about Jesus accurately.

Cool

I think not every believer is a Christian like you think, because the Muslims belive in God which they call Allah but are not Christians, even the traditionalist believe their is a supreme being  which is the maker of the heaven and earth they glorify him before saying their incantations and liabate to their gods but yet they ain't Christians, yes Christianity is a belief but the word Christian means Christ like, they pray believing in God through Jesus christ as well, so all  religion believe in God but not all religions are Christians

So we are talking two different things. A person can believe that the asteroid belt exists between Mars and Jupiter. He can believe it because some scientists said it exists, not because he has ever seen it through a telescope. He is a believer, but I thought we were talking about believers in God.

James says a kind of interesting thing in the Bible, James 2:19:
You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.

Your prayer to God through Jesus is never in vain. God hears all prayers, and answers them all according to the faith of the individual person who is praying. He also answers according to His love.

When Jesus fed the 5000, and later the 4000, He didn't start with nothing. Rather, He started with a small amount of bread and fish, and multiplied it to feed the whole groups. Why did He start with something rather than start from noting? He could have started with nothing; He is that powerful.

He did it because of the weak faith of both the disciples and also the people. Starting with something built their faith, because they could see that there was something there... rather than simply popping the bread and fish into existence with nothing to start with at all.

After all, if you want a new car, is your faith strong enough to simply pop it into existence in your driveway? Probably not. But if you work for it - get the money and pay for it - your faith is strong enough to do it this way. You have done it before, or you have seen other people do it, so you have faith that you can do it, too.

Cool
You have to had belive in God before you even thought of praying to him for your prayers to be answered, what i was was trying to say Is that there are many Christians but view believers
Then talking about faith, yes as a believe you ought to have faith but then faith without work is dead according to the Holy book in James 2:17-26.

Concerning Christians is that Christians don't have a one particular religion the following they have different kind of life their lives so I believe that that is one of the things that is causing problem in Christian life if Christians can help each other I believe that it will create many impact of them to elevate each other for best of that does not help each other that is why they continue to remain poor
The major issue here is not about religion, Christianity is not a religion rather it is a believe and most people claim they are Christians but yet they don't belive in God,he's already created us in his own image and gave us power to rule over things of the earth, but then if you don't pray to him through christ and believe in him them your prayers is in vain.

Be whatsoever in christ, if you have service that you're render to the society to get paid, you be poor and die poor too, christ has given us all the principles in his kingdom to be rich, and only those who obey and follow it will be Rich. riches come from hard work, don't BE deceived by fake pastors that will tell you to hope on God while they are collecting our offerings. we must stop being lazy Christians, the richest people in the world today are not Christians, you know why? we depend on God for everything. we must start to be business minder and make the earth enjoyable.

Another way to look at it.

First, no matter the amount of wealth or property owned, we seem to lose it all when we die. Also, Jesus mentioned that it is difficult for a wealthy person to make it to Heaven. However, earthly wealth can have a benefit to a sincere believer.

Consider what God the Father, and His Son did for us. The Father gave up His beloved Son to pain and death so that we could be saved. In other words, wealth in the eyes of the Father and His son was and is you, and me, and everybody.

When are we going to become like our heavenly Father by looking for the real wealth like He and His Son are doing?  When are we going to make earthly wealth secondary, like it really is, and look for true wealth? God wanted the wealth of human souls so much, that He literally died through His Son Jesus just to get His wealth... us. We are God's wealth. He gave up everything for us.

How powerful is God? In Heaven, what will God do for those people who 'helped' with the saving of souls by bringing people to Jesus? In one place in the Bible it says, that those who bring many to salvation will "shine like the stars for ever and ever." Every soul you help to be saved is like money in the Bank of Heaven, that will earn compounded interest for you forever and ever. It's like God loving you, for giving Him the wealth He died for... patting you on the back in great friendship forever and ever. And the people you helped to save will love you for the salvation you brought to them, forever and ever.

You aren't poor. If you believe in Jesus salvation, God will thank you for coming to Him, forever, in Heaven. Then, if you use worldly wealth to bring people to Him, He will thank you forever for each of them. Now that you see what true wealth is, get to work, and make yourself wealthy. God will help you do it.

I want to start by saying that Christianity is not magic or ritualism where you get rich quick because you're christ like without putting any effort or working hard to get paid, alot of people think that way without knowing that's not how Christianity works, even as a Christian you still need to carry out human efforts, labour while praying for God to bless the fruit of your labour.

Also while praying as well you need to have faith in God for your prayers to be answered, many people call them selves Christians but barely believe in God, if you don't believe and have faith in God then there no way he'll answer your prayers, there's a portion the Bible (James 2:17-26) that says faith without work is dead, so in as much as you belive in God and have faith in your prayers to him you need to have a handwork so he'll bless the fruit of your labour like I stated earlier.

God is not just going to desend and bring money for you, yeah he can bless you through people around you or send a helper but then let's say in a situation when there's nobody privileged around to help, you need your effort for him to bless you with, that's why a lot of Christians are still poor because they're still praying for God's help without showing effort or labouring to survive.

Simply what I'm trying to say Is that in other to leave that stage of poverty, you need to start putting more effort to work, alot of people have more power than wisdom or more wisdom than power, now wisdom comes form the word of God while power comes from prayers, most Christians pray but don't read the word of God while some read the words but are not prayerful, so in other to make a change they need power and wisdom, that means you need to read the word of God and understand as well as being prayerful, they go hand in hand.

Another thing is that some people don't ask, some Christians feel that God knows everything, he knows even before you ask  but then, God wants you to ask, he wants to know that you actually need what you're asking for and you actually need his help as well, he mentioned that in (Matthew 7:7).

You are a Christian and does that mean that you are not going to hustle? We need to know what we want and how to get it not to be deceiving ourselves to be rich in Christ when you are not ready to work and earn money to feed yourself and family. This is really and we need to do things right or you will end up becoming more poor to the extend of not able to feed again.
