Hello everyone,

It's been a week now since I eventually create my account on this forum but yet to understand anything at all and believe I have tried my best to read some of things or article but the whole site is a little confusing so I thought many seniors here could guide me and direct on what and how to go about everything.

What’s your purpose when you register in forum? Focus on the board that tackle the topic that interests you because looking on all the available board will reall overwhelm you with different topic and discussion that you don’t have an idea.

Go to your local board and ask for someone help on your specific question so that you will feel comfortable on discussion or go to Beginers & Help board and read tutorials and guides in there.  Determine what you really like and focus on that area first before you explore the forum.

indeed it is confusing to fully understand how things work around here but if you take your time to read through the forum rules and some other stickled thread you’ll be able to figure out everything that you need to get started here.

So here’s the link to the forum rules[1], make sure you go through it if you don’t what to get into any issue that will lead to your account being banned or suspended. It also explains the type of posts or threads that are accepted in each board, that will help you reduce the stress of having to click through several threads to learn it yourself.

And just as the post above mine stated, don’t ever plagiarise. Even if you want to share just a single sentence make sure you add the source don’t play smart here as it will cost you your account.

Try using the search option; it might help you a lot to get some answers that you might want to ask but don't know where to ask them as they might have already been answered on previous threads.

You can also do a quick preview of the forum rules in order to be in line and not fall victim to any rule violations. Just be original and stay organic; don't present other people's work like yours (plagiarism). Don't share information that you are not sure about, and always provide a source link to some information that you might want to share from another source.

Try reading through the 3 pinned post on the first page of the beginners and help]
